It helped. I'm taking the automatic transmission out of mine and putting in the GSR auto trans.
Thanks for confirming that the transmission can be removed from underneath. Good job!
Dow Morris thank you sir hope it will help you in your removal if you need any more info just contact me I will try to reply in decent time
Thanks for the vid! I'm parting out my teggy and was having issues finding good sources of information. I'm gonna go outside and get er done now. 😎
花城盛夏 good luck I hope that it is going well
@@kadeemwillock6335 It went great, thanks! The transmission was fully out in a day.
花城盛夏 nice well if you haven’t share the video to everyone, Facebook etc
dude thanks for the help swapping a b16 jdm transmission into my 91 integra with a b18b1 swap and gsr cable trans thats dying pretty bad and needs rebuild and this helped a lot.....
Nick awesome man and good luck with the build. If I’m reading correctly you are swapping in a b16 trans, J1 CRX swap?
@@kadeemwillock6335 Yea B16 JDM trans from a CRX SI unknown year. Cable trans though. Should be a straight swap into a 91 integra. So far I thought the b16 trans need a 20 spline clutch but everything seems to be 90-93 integra parts Clutch I bought fit and was a 24 spline. Deciding if I should redo all the seals, but budget concerns right now and GSR is failing pretty fast.
Appreciate this homie, I got a 92 I'm stripping and the engine and transmission are coming out next.
No prob man good luck with it!!!
Hey man, gonna be doing engine and tranny swap on my 92 integra. Were you able to get this done?
great video, it was helpful
I like the video and I really like the T-shirt lol
RELOADINGandSHOOTING lol thanks alot!
you are welcome. If you were close by I would ask if you would be avaliable to do an install, but I think I will end up doing it myself. I am installing a b18b1 from a 2000 Integra into a 92 coupe blue. I was debating on doing the b18c1 full rebuild, but I need the car running and don't have the space/garage to pull a whole car apart to do the complete installs of the engine, and interior like I want to. If I am going to the DOHC VTEC with Turbo, it would be a serious setup change, with as much gutting of the engine bay to relocate what I can to the back, and install a real advanced stereo alarm and other needless things like lambo doors, and perhaps air suspension. So that is alot of work. I have a 1990 sedan that has a b17a with ys1, and I have another b17a with ys1 and .25 mfactory LSD. So I have options, but really need a garage... Weather here really sucks to do work on DA's ... especially on the grass. ... well thanks for the video, I like how you put in the words to make it easy to follow.
Appreciate it! Take your time an if you start getting overwhelmed just take a break because that's when things gets worse IMO.
Goodluck with it and enjoy
I agree, good work, I hate working these cars. As much as I love them, Clutch or interior fan ... I am pretty close to done with the DA
Good job bro
much love brother
Respect and Thank you!
Feel like doing mine. Automatic should be the same just the small bolts on the flex plate or torque converter
where is the clutch slave cylinder located
Thank you i have the same car
Nice man hope its treating you well
I think I am going to drop my transmission then pull the engine. I know these cars with ABS Are VERY difficult to pull engine and tranny from the top. but it makes me think you can drop the whole engine & transmission from the bottom, aligning everything would be an issue
This is my only DA integra i have ever worked on an the most I have done is the transmission and head removal. I do not think it will be that big of a difference which direction you pull it out.
Good luck.
whats up with thr k Integra??
hey could you show me where the lines go next to the speed cable on the transmission thanks in advance
Brandon Davis are you trying to locate the speedo cable or the reverse switch?
@@kadeemwillock6335 the lines next to the speed cable
@@kadeemwillock6335 I think they go to hard lines but to where
Brandon Davis it has been awhile since I have done this job. There shouldn’t be too many lines obstructing you from removing the transmission. Speedo cable, the cable for the shift arm, the transmission ground and reverse light switch.
Lol it Saturday... July 13, 2019
How do you disconnect/reconnect the hoses that connect from the transmission mission ?
BboyJJ707 which hose be specific if you can?
All the hoses i guess, i been watching this video alot and im sure i can replace my transmission, its just when i bought a used tranny, all the hoses were cut and i find it intimidating to reconnect all of them, so to answer your question it would be all the hoses that the tranny connect to
The transmission cooler lines is what i ment, and some wires as well
Do U have an auto?
Yes auto integra 91
