    Thank you thank you thank you! I’ve been so anxious and worried about doing this job but you’ve made it look so easy and this was done really really well!

      Glad it gives you confidence! It’s really not a very hard job, just intimidating because of how much you need to remove to do it. But overall, the job is 5/10 in difficulty.

      Process, with no broken bolts or major setbacks should around 7ish hours. I filmed the removal (obviously) and in doing so that took me about 5 hours. The reinstallation would have only taken me about 2.5 if the lower ball joints didn’t strip out on me and I had to replace those as well.

    • @Mr.SoRandom
      @Mr.SoRandom 4 года назад

      When I bought the car it took me a week to realize that I didn’t have to press the clutch to turn on car... first instinct is to press the clutch and turn key... so do you think that can also keep the car from starting in some way??? Thanks for your time man

    • @ChrisSadowski
      @ChrisSadowski  4 года назад

      When you turn the key forward, you should
      Hear your fuel pump prime and your Check engine light should turn off after about 3 seconds. If it does, then your fuel pump is primed. If it stays illuminated then your not priming the pump. Your main relay controls the fuel pump mostly, so if your not priming it the. That would most likely be the issue. Your clutch switch interlock is just a 2 pin connector above your clutch pedal, you can jump that connector with a wire or a paper clip to bypass it so you do not need to press the clutch in to start the car

    Hi Chris. Torque Question on the flywheel spec. Do you run all the bolts to 19ftlbs in sequence and then go on to the next Torque spec in sequence and so forth?

    please help. i have a 92 integra with a ys1, i ordered the Exedy 92 clutch kit. i know most parts are the same for most be series, but the clutch disk. i got an a1 trans bc its the only thing i could find in my area, but i already got a 92 clutch kit. i put the clutch disk on the a1 and it feels very wobbly, slides on fine but feels like lots of play...i just need to know if i just screwed myself with that trans and need a 91 clutch disk which is impossible to find from a trustworthy seller.

      i really have no idea what im looking at but will not pay the labor at shops around here (upwards of 175 an hour) im just at a loss and research says the input shaft IS different, but i just want to clarify with som1 who works on these regularly

    • @ChrisSadowski
      @ChrisSadowski  9 месяцев назад

      There is a big spline and small spline transmission for that era, google that term and find the measurements and compare them to yours, it sounds like you have a small spline

    • @jacobmaloney7203
      @jacobmaloney7203 9 месяцев назад

      @ChrisSadowski should there be play if I hold the clutch disk at the top and wiggle? Or should it be very very minute

    • @jacobmaloney7203
      @jacobmaloney7203 9 месяцев назад

      @ChrisSadowski turning is fine, no wiggle between tension on the teeth

    • @ChrisSadowski
      @ChrisSadowski  9 месяцев назад

      To be honest I’ve never paid that close attention. It’s been a few years since I’ve done a DA clutch, as long as the teeth don’t have slop back and forth and they all engage the input shaft I would imagine you’ll be fine, worst case you pull it back down. The trans in those cars is silly easy to remove
