Here's a thing... I spilt some fluid on my laptop, right hand of the keyboard not near the mains cable. Turned it off right away from the mains, took battery out, dried it out for a couple of days, took it apart and cleaned best I could, put it back together and it was working, a bit goofy for a couple of days but then settled down... Apart from... the left hand speaker, not the right, has a kind of static crackling distortion sound, sometimes it goes away but it always comes back... Tried all the update drivers stuff but still got the static noise...

PC - Just go to power setting and choose a custom power plan.. Set it to "high performance" hope this helps .. if your on a laptop set the minimum process state to 100%

It Worked ! I did’t thought this might me a driver issue thought issue was on my hardware but thankfully got this video and this fixed my issue just by changing Drivers From realtek to high definition

You inadvertently fixed my issue I had Nehimic installed but I use a creative zxr my Mobo install disk installed it I didn't know it was for realtek audio

@@chung9341 Try to send it to hp . Explain them that cracking comes from the speakers. They should replace your speaker. I send it to hp and they have replaced the speaker. It didnt help. It is a mother board issue. The only thing you can do is probably give it back to the shop where you bought it . I did it a week ago . It might help get the money back. Good luck friend

If you have "crackling" speaker, the chances that the problem is caused by software and not hardware is close to 0%.
If it was a software problem, u probly wouldnt have gotten any audio.
