I can't believe I forgot this simple hack. After reinstalling windows, the fan noise was driving me crazy, for no good reason. Simple browsing seemed beyond my once quiet computer. This video got added to my "Most useful" playlist. Thank you!!
It worked and quieted my fan on my HP laptop! Thank you so much for this effective, straightforward, and user friendly tutorial! My laptop works great but the fan became super loud after I completed the Windows 11 update. I'm really happy it's quite again, thanks to your great tutorial!
i decided to clean my fans this morning and after that, the fan didn’t stop whirring and as a uni student who uses a laptop to write down notes, i couldn’t see myself bringing a plane-sound laptop to school and was stressing out. I’m SO HAPPY, i have found this video, thank you so much
Thank you dude my laptop used to make a ENORMOUS amount of sound and because of your tip I got saved from being embarrassed for having a loud device at school
The fan noise on my Acer desktop had been bothering me for over a year now. After following your advice, the loud noise went away within a minute. The PC is now very quiet but working perfectly fine. I will sleep very well tonight. Thank you sooooo much. God bless you!
After I applied your software instructions, my fan noise has diminished, probably, by 90%! Thank you! As you said, I am having no issues when I use Google Search, emailing, and RUclips. Even the noise when I cut the laptop on has diminished greatly.
I don't comment on a lot of videos, but my Dell XPS went from super loud when I had more than two tabs open to totally silent. I reduced the power to 75% and I am not noticing any performance decrease. Thank you!
Thank you so much! Everything went away, I appreciate this. It just came in last night and when I heard the fan noise I immediately searched how to reduce the noise. Thanks again!
Thank you, I have a Nuc Intel PC and so I assumed the fans were loud because I was pushing it hard but after reducing the max to 80 it just quiet and so far it hasn't affected performance.
wow, works amazing! I have a new Acer aspire 7 and I dropped the performance to 75% and the fan noise dropped immediately. The noise was really loud when charging only and now it's fix thank you!
Just applied your instructions. I'll let you know how it worked tomorrow. Thank you. I'm excited about the potentiality of having a quieter laptop. Thank you!!! Have a great day.💯
I wrote 60% and immediately the noise just stopped. I was shocked. WOW!!! Thank you so much man, I was like damn another issue I have to take care of. But it was fixed very quickly
Good stuff mate my HP laptop kept getting really hot playing steam games did all that put it to 60% and fan noise gone down 80% just a little breeze from the fans to still cool but not like a plane about to take off cheers
Awesome trick sir It's amazing worked My problem is 1 month Iam more struggle But your video see the problem fix it Very very thankful information 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
thankyou for yout tutorial!! i almost sad i got a new laptop but it sounds really noisy and i applied your tutorial. fortunately, it works!! thanks a lot!!
I'm using Windows 10 Pro version. I followed your advice and I put maximum performance to 70%. Another thing I did from another video is that I set the fan control to Standard inside my Asus B360M Motherboard BIOS Q Fan Control. Both fans were manual and had red line in graphs, not it's blue line which means no loud noise. Thank you so much to you and that youtuber. Now my mum can sleep in peace. 😅
I just got my new ACER LAPTOP, and then I updated my windows 11. Suddenly I heard a fan noise or air noise. I was hysterical since I just got my new laptop. Luckily, I found your video! I thought my laptop is broken. Hahaha
I found the best solution is to remove the bottom cover of the laptop and mount a 240mm liquid cooler to the cpu. I made a special enclosure on wheels to make it portable. Over time I realized that I wasn’t getting the performance I needed so I slowly upgraded parts and ended up with a gaming desktop PC. Yes it’s heavier to carry in my bag but you get used to it. Better be near an outlet though. 😉
Thank God! I was so embarrassed by this noise at the office. I'm hoping it won't become a long-term problem. Thanks a lot!
Same situation here too... My laptop makes sound due to high speed fan in my office but I say "It's a gaming laptop, so it's a normal behavior"
Same here. You can follow my comment to fix the fan noise permanently in the newest comment section.
Not only did your video give the correct fix, it showed exactly where to click and did not skip any steps! That's rare. Thank you!
