Hello, thank you for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it. I hope this video gave you some insight on how to disassemble your mouse and you are able to fix your mouse.
Thank you for the tutorial on repairing which worked also fine for my M310. I also had a problem with the scroll wheel which was hard to turn. When I opened the mouse for repairing the button switch I found that the wheel was covered with a lot of dust and particles which i swiped away. I also realised that I seem to have a newer (and probably cheaper to produce) version of the M310 with another motion sensor. Mine doesn't have a glass cover over the sensor but there is only a hole. So there was also some dust inside which made the mouse positioning inaccurate!
Hey Tom, I am super happy to know that you found this video helpful, reading comments like yours makes really me me smile. I am especially happy that you found your problem and were able to fix it. Thanks for watching and take care!
I was having a hard time left clicking, it only registered half of the time and couldn't drag-and-drop efficiently. You taught me how to open it up, and I just put a tiny bit of electrical tape right where the button should click. It worked! So thanks Joes, let's see if this bad boy can last 4 years more. :)
That's awesome!!! I am so happy to hear that I was able to help you open the mouse. This mouse has been with me for 10yrs now and I will keep fixing it until it won't work anymore lol. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a great day!
On mine, the buttons click wasn't holding - if you'd drag some files or text, or text selection, it would soon release itself despite you still holding the button down. I took mine apart and cleaned the dust! There was hardly anything visible. Blowing hard a few times seems to have dislodged some that wasn't seen. Clicked a few times on the switch button (not opened the switch case). Assembling the mouse back, the buttons now seem to have regained its previous function. Lets see how long it lasts!
Thats awesome! I hope this video helped you in disassembling and reassembling the mouse. I really appreciate you watching and commenting, take care and be safe.
You are very welcome! Just to let you know, I use this mouse for work, so 5 days a week for 8hrs a day and it's been doing great since the repair. Take care and thanks for watching.
Well done! My M310 is double clicking. I will dissassemble and clean and hope that is enough!

Joe, I think you've created a brand new video category; ASMR repair videos. Love it
My goal is to be the Bob Ross of repair

Been looking for a video like this. Great stuff.
Thanks!
Another great video Joe. Great job with the solder sucker, those things can be a pain.
Thanks Chris!

Hi! are these 20m or 10m?
Hello! I am sorry but I do not understand your question? Are you asking about the switches or the mouse?
@@joesdiy4260 I think he means the lifespan of the omron switches
@@ashtonvinceco5480 I have no clue what the life span of the switches are. Sorry!
These are the lower end of the switches. 10m life span.
