I discovered this area after I completely beat the game. I was flying over looking for the wolf beacons and all of the sudden Only You started playing and I blacked out. I freaked out Bc I thought I broke the game and missed a story mission😂
Lmao same. When i flew near this i didn't actually know that this is the place wherr Jacob tortured us, i though thag this is normal place. When i flew over it the music started play and i spawned in the river and my helicopter crashed lmao

jesus this is word for word me.. got the beacon to the east of the building, then was flying to the one west of the building and noticed a building greyed out on the map, thought it might be a fast travel spot so flew over it and boom.. OOOONLY YOUUUUUUUUUU... shivers, every, time.

My first time getting to it was when I was wingsuiting off a mountain, and when I fell I had no idea what happened. I think the reason all the stuff was still in there has to do with the second or third time you get captured. In one of them, Pratt tries to get both of you out and only you end up making it. I think what they where initially going to do was add a stealth segment and then realized it was a bad idea. Instead of completely scrapping the building, they decided that having it play Only You constantly for brainwashing people inside made more sense and added a layer of mystery to the place.

Ivan Winchester The main hook in a FPS is shooting things and I like to approach a fight at my own pace and do things methodically. Having a GFH can mess that up.

Just walk through the forest to the backside of the house. Then approach the building in a straight way, as soon as you are at the wall, walk around to the front gate, ( make sure to be close to the wall). Now you in..worked by mine

Best part of this hack was that it put you in God mode. Kinda fun, for awhile running around shooting up everything, even outposts, as long as you don't wander too far from the place. Seemed to drop me out of God mode at about 1km from the Center. Alas, it looks like they patched this exploit with the latest update. I tried it 3 times and I just died and respawned across the river (real PITA). I wanted to try the final fight with the Father to see if God Mode extended to Story Missions. Oh well, fun while it lasted. The game is a real bore now that I've killed all the leaders and conquered all the outposts. Ubi needs to leave a few more Peggies wandering about, so we could continue with the challenges.
You can reset all of the outposts by going in settings And clicking outpoust master (i think)

There is another way.
Swim in the lake, get closer to the building. Once you hear the song, dive in and drown. After that you will be invincible and can roam freely in the veteran center. To deactivate it, quit to the menu and start again.

Lol I actually drowned. There is no way in tbh. The only way in is after defeating all the bosses and the land ia liberate from their hold. Then you can go anywhere you want. But firt you have to defeat John Seed

It's really weird. I'll follow all the directions, and the music will still start, but if I stop walking right when it starts, the music will keep looping and nothing happens to me.
Edit: The song actually dose end, and I was able to get through the gates, but I passed out when I stood up.

I went into it with helicopter from back side. But enemies killed me. Since then i can't re-enter. :(
I have two theories or reason why you can't go into the St. Francis Veteran Center after Jacob's death:
1. The song "Only You" that plays before it moves you back is the song Jacob uses to control you. He hunted you down specifically and made it so "only you" have a connection to the song. It explains why other people can go and explore the place and you can't.
2. Since "Only You" is Jacob's theme, it makes sense that it represents him. I like to think when you hear the song at the Veteran Center, that's Jacob's spirit saying "You did good, but there ain't no use to be here anymore.. You proved yourself, and you still have work to do.".

All you do to get inside is drown in the lake outside of the place. You actually don't die you just get dizzy like and then you walk right in. Surprised people are still wondering how to get in.

I'm always amazed at how 95% of the Far Cry 5 videos on YT are done on consoles. I thought there was more than 5% PC players nowadays (actually I would have said 50%). Not to mention it seems rather more intuitive to record and upload videos from a PC than a console (I might be wrong, I dont have any console). Anyone has a clue ?
While consoles are harder to set up a recording software on, they provide much less choppy gameplay
@@maximumwolfe9462 euh why would you think so ??? PC usually run games with much better frame rate and graphics quality. Only when a new gen of consoles arrives the consoles could possibly be better on average but the best PCs will always be better than consoles even then. Given the timing of this video, the PCs were already way better than the PS4 or even the PS4 pro for instance.

Because you are not suppose to go back there until the stories epilogue. You have the potential to break the game / story progression if you glitch into areas early.

So anyone who’s wondering there’s cutscenes where you are in there I accidentally flew my helicopter in there and the music started and I passed out and the cutscene happened so
If you do the drowning thing in the pond out front make sure to have a helicopter near by, once you drown it won't show any on screen controls so go to the helicopter and you can fly to the top of the roof and get in. Just did it and exploring now, good luck yall.

I tried this today and saw your other video the drown one does not work for me but this I can only get up to the fire in between the gates before it forces me to warp out. How should I proceed?
Since the new update this place will not let me get close to it with out restarting me.
There is a way in...jump in the pond and swim towards the mansion underwater until you here the music. Remain submerged until you apparently drown, then simply get up and go inside.
Nothing inside the compound but a few dollars spread around and backpack/ammo loot. Inside is very glitchy and you don't get the usual prompts on screen. If you want to see the top floor you must travel by land to find a chopper and return landing on the roof. DO Not Fast Travel...it will break the chain effect.
One interesting side effect is this puts you into a semi-god mode...you are almost unkillable. Fistfights with bears, cats, moose, ect., are hilarious. Peggies can't kill you even with a flame thrower. There is more to discover, but I won't spoil the fun further. Oh, btw there is $250 in the safe upstairs.

I got in by grappling on to adeleide's tulip
I did get in once before I saw this, but it booted me before I got too far in. And one other time I tried racing in with a truck. After that I figured it wasn't going to work.

Sam Harvey the lady you get as a partner. She flies the chopper. Call her in and grapple off the chopper.

Getting to the wall can be very touchy. It took me a few attempts to get there but it can be done.
Go in the water and stop when the song plays and drown then you can go to a heli spawn and get a heli to get to the top room not much in there tho
