When I watch/listen to all of these videos and hear all these health truths and all of the healing it just brings me to tears. At the same time I’m so angry that I didn’t know about this sooner. Sure would’ve saved some suffering! Anyway I got my healing humanity stickers yesterday, got a few so I can stick them in a few places. LoL keep it up Kerry, word’s getting out there!

      Awesome. The key in this diet is the reduced sugar you’re consuming which is probably the main reason for the weight loss.

    • @Obligate.Carnivore
      @Obligate.Carnivore 2 месяца назад

      @@abelanc1090 yeah, but I personally didn’t/don’t really care about weight. I do care about reversing my diabetes! I go for new bloodwork this week and I’m worried. My blood sugar levels are kind of high, like all the time and it’s taking a toll on me mentally. The worry. I can do nothing more about it as I only eat meat 🥩 🥓🧈🍳 that’s it! My A1C-5.5 and if it’s lower now my mind will be able to ease of the stress. I was down 65 pounds and now have picked up 10. That to me isn’t a big deal. I do feel great, other than the shadow in the back of my mind. Once light is shed on it I will feel totally awesome. From what I have read and researched I shouldn’t worry, but I have suffered so much loss and, though ridiculous, I fear losing the one of only 2-3 good things going on in my life right now. Hard to explain it. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
      Stay safe

      Mainstream tells you it's bad when they have a new product they want to push on you. I remember when butter was vilified, when they came up with margarine, and as it turns out, margarine is one of the worst thing you can put in your body with the hydrogenated oils. I remember when eggs bece the same, when the egg substitute came out. Total bullshit is what they will feed you, if you let them.

Carnivore forces you to stay away from anything that can hinder your weight loss. In Keto you have to carb count and double check your vegetables and other products and make sure your ingredients don’t contain any of the nasty oils and ingredients.

    I was a very strict vegan for the past 7 years which was great but because of my hectic lifestyle i wasn't doing it properly for this last year. I think i became very nutrient deficient, which lead to being very lethargic and symptomatic. Felt instantly better after starting carnivore.

      All the vegans should watch a couple survival shows. Find all the veggies, berries, fruits, and nuts you want. Your body and brain will slowly deplete. The only reason humans survive or evolved mentally to our current capability especially in times of need (cold) is animal fat. Beef alone won’t do it. Your brain NEEDS animal fat. And what does every “healthy” option on the shelf say… fat free… we are doomed lol

I was originally going to go for 30 days to see how it would go. At day 24 I had lost 20 lbs and I felt great. It was the 2nd or 3rd day I had a pretty bad headache, so I did my research and then cooked a pound of bacon and ate about 10 slices. That evening I cooked 2 racks of ribs in a Dutch oven and ate them both. Headache fixed, no other issues since. I've had plenty of chances to cheat on this eating lifestyle but I haven't succumbed to any of the brief temptation. I made 15 batches of popcorn for the movie under the stars we had at my RV park and didn't even test the popcorn to make sure it was flavored properly. I even disappointed my kids this summer and didn't have any of my ice cream cake for my birthday. All I wanted was a ribeye. I have noticed once I hit 50 lbs things have slowed down a bit. I'm guessing the inflammation and water weight was a majority of what came off during these first three months. Now I'm combining carnivore and intermittent fasting since I'm rarely hungry ever. We'll see if I do it forever. But this is what I'm doing at least until I reach my target weight of 200 to 215 lbs.

    The people saying they feel better seem to be ignoring the fact they have;
    - eliminated sugar
    - eliminated processed foods
    - eliminated various foods that can have harsh inflammatory effects
    - eliminated fast foods
    - eliminated dairy
    - eliminated heavy carbs
    Etc etc etc
    There’s tonnes of vitamins and minerals in meat that are going to support your body, but it’s important to acknowledge that the side effects a lot of you are describing are exactly the same as the way people describe feeling after a sugar detox, or similar.
    Some of you could also have wheat, dairy, bean, onion, garlic, or other allergies and have no idea, essentially taking on an extreme elimination diet right now, it would be wise to track what you reintroduce, when, how much, what with, how it’s been prepared, how fresh it is both before and after cooking, whether it’s organic, whether it has preservatives or not etc and take note of any positive or negative impacts it has.
    Also remember that as the body is likely using ketones for energy (if you aren’t consuming complex carbs this is almost definitely the case especially for very active people) you’ll feel almost high, ketone energy is really different to sugar energy but be careful ~ don’t do it for too long, or if you do want to do it long term then do it in a balanced way, one week on on week off, or two weeks on two weeks off
    The strain this places on your liver and kidneys is extreme
    It’s not a joke I’m not a crazy vegan or something I’m sharing this because some people can and do go into kidney failure from this without ever thinking that could happen
    Humans are omnivores, not herbivores, not carnivores, we’re not built to process only meat, we can do it for awhile but some of us especially only a short time, and some people can’t do it any longer than a few weeks at a time
    It’s important to have your organ functioning checked and structure your diet around your blood type, ancestry, allergies, energy needs, and present (positive) health symptoms, severe changes or restrictions or additions should always be shared with a doctor and listen to their advice if they tell you to stop.

    I think this is pretty awesome and some very informative comments as well. I just hope most people understand that the reason we are not eating meat these days is because it's jacked full of hormone steroids and any disease or anything that may be on the animal just gets thrown right in there. I just feel like you can't trust what meat you're getting these days but maybe if you go directly to a butcher you could find a good source? After not eating meat for 5 years I think I'm ready to get started again but honestly now the idea of eating flesh kind of disgust me so I'm also working on that aspect of things. Seems like beef and red meat is all we can really trust anymore. I feel like private sources have really destroyed the pork industry and not even sure you can trust chicken anymore .

      Fair enough, but noodles and spaghetti sauce or pancake mix or cereal or rice all stretch the budget. I know it's not good, it's a matter of keeping the electricity on and water running or high quality groceries some months.

    Yes, you do crave meat.
    I have a friend who is struggling with losing weight and she’s diabetic. I told her to do carnivore and I sent her the information from your website. She’s been taken off insulin and put on med for now.
    My other friend has cancer and has started doing carnivore since March of this year and her markers have changed. Cancer is going away. And doctors can’t understand why.

    I have been a vegetarian and a vegan back in the days... I tried to be vegetarian many times again but always with the same result, I start to crave meat after approx. 3 month fully vegetarian. Even when I tried to include fish I start to crave especially chicken after 3 month. I have always disliked this because the vegan cause in its core is a noble cause (to reduce unnecessary suffering and death). But I am starting to understand that there is a reason to why I start to crave meat again...
    Ill never go on a fully carnivore diet, I don't believe it is healthy in the long term, I still love my herbs, spices and a limited bunch of veg and certain fruits. But Im going to try/combine the keto/aip approach.
    And I am pretty happy that I finally can ease the guilt of eating animals again.
    Its not perfect but I believe it is healthier for me!
