HI Josh. Would live to see a video on 11.4" wheelbase setup with VP Portals (so I can get myself a MOG.) Hipe that is planned. Love the videos as always and this kit is on the must haves list for me.
@@souledoutrc8174 I think I will sooner or later. One of my SCX10.2s will probably be converted. Definitely going to pick up the Element Enduro though.
I just ordered one and servo horn. Thanks so much for everything Josh. I can't wait. This looks so sweet. Now I need to get back to work and make some money.
Harley...Been follwoing you for years. This is a very promising Builder Kit. I will be pre-ordering today. Just got one question, you kind of addressed it the video but not in detail. What transmission will this run. I have a Hurtz Dig I'm waiting to use and I have the perfect build body for it and this chassis gets me going. I have VP Portals on deck as well. So I'm looking forward to your next couple of vids on this chassis. Just not sure on what transmission to run. I'll watch the video again.
Well since nobody else is mentioned it. I'd like to see the element RC overdrive transmission with a set of rock jocks. I think that would to send my Deadbolt into a whole new level.
Hey Josh....first...thanks for coming out to the Pro-line event. It was cool getting to talk to you(I had the Mammoth and King Midas 6x6). On your guy's new chassis....I'd put your Vanguish Portals on it, a Reef's new Triple-9(999)servo and I'm sure this upset you(Hahaha)...a 2-speed tranny. And finally use my Power Wagon body I've had painted for 5 months. Dude....you don't stop...have you gotten any sleep? Hahaha
One if not the best Chassis kits on the market, Top knotch quality!! However Im having a lil issue with my SCX10-3 straight axles. Once installed my servo arm is hitting my panhard bar, it wont allow the suspension to work and or steer properly. Seems like a longer panhard mount might remedy the issue but I'm not sure. Vanquish mentions usuing the scx10, 3 straight axles with the kit but I'm not sure it'll work ?
Question I got this kit to kinda have a vanquish build but in my kit I have so many of the socket screws and barely enough counter sync screws what should I do?
Wonderful kit, now I don't have scx10 II on my fleet, 2 vs4-10 and waiting for the VS4-10 Pro to open pre order. Do we have dates for the pre order on the VS4-10 Pro? One thing that It's weird in my humble opinion, is that in the vs4-10 chassis kit almos every kind of bumpers except the Vs4-10 ones or Ripper ones :(...
Yes I wish that would have been an easy thing to accommodate but we felt that the change needed to happen now in order to make it more universal. Preorder is a little over a week away.
First off amazing chassis kit from Vanquish. Great build video you give out the best information on how to build and what can work with this chassis build. What is the price point for it?
I’ve never really messed with the Barrage line, it’s just not quite built like the trucks I really like to work with. I’m sure it’s still fun, just not my preference.
for vs4-10 owners like me, are those sliders available separately? also are those rear shock mounts the same as the original mounts? i would really like to be able to change the shock angles and the original are not capable of doing this!
High clearance chassis for better suspension travel, more rigid, scale fuel cell, aluminum panhard mount, Servo winch mount and guide, and more. There is a full list on the features on the website.
I think it depends on the bumper for sure. Also, we sent Werty a chassis kit last week for him to build whatever he wants. So I'm sure we'll see direct bolt on options of many styles.
It's a solid looking chassis that allows for more travel and works with available part support. Whether or not you find that better would depend on how you plan to use your truck and what you wanted out of it.
After doing some research and not wanting to look like a ass I guess if you are a little butt hurt for vanquish it would be worth changing the chassis over. I mean right off the rip to buy shock hoops for a scx10ii is 69$ so for a extra 40$ bucks for a battery relocation, gas tank and servo mount/ servo winch mount isn't a bad investment. (Not to mention the 8 pivot balls and two arms and skids)
Well thought out layout, what a great SCX10 upgrade option.
Wow! That's a nice chassis! I usually don't like aftermarket scx chassis because flat plates are not scale. Very good job Vp!
Great, informative video! Saw this at Pro-Line By The Fire, the chassis set is incredible!
Damn, that's pretty. Well thought out. Good job sir
Awesome chassis kit! Great design & features. I will be getting one ASAP!

Great release and vid 😎, will you be offering the rails for purchase on there own ? 🤞🤞
I could see this as a significant upgrade for my SCX10 II Deadbolt(future Jeep G6), especially after upgrading to steel links.
I converted my Blazer over using this and have been loving it.
Nice, I like that you guys separated it out into a raw conversion kit like this.
REVolutionX bro I’m excited for this are you going to get it?
@@souledoutrc8174 I think I will sooner or later. One of my SCX10.2s will probably be converted. Definitely going to pick up the Element Enduro though.
REVolutionX awesome bro I seen a sneak peek on RPP Hobby SSD is gonna release a kit as well but haven’t shown really what all come with.
@@souledoutrc8174 Yup, that one is on the radar too, but it all depends how much it is.
REVolutionX yeah I agree
So many great scale trucks out now i don't know what to get first. Love this chassis idea would make my truck so good.

THAT'S an awesome idea!! I'm putting that on my list.
This was well thought out, and I can't wait to get one!

This will make my SCX10 one BADASS!! 😎
I wish every rc video was like this one :)
Market seems to be expanding (Element, SSD, etc)?! I, sincerely, hope this is successful. Knowing the Vanquish quality and rep, I bet it will be.
I order this today. It is the first piece of the puzzle. I might go with wider axles than normal.

Great chassis upgrade, turned my scx10 (og) into a brand new machine
Wow xclnt product and great timing , I just got a new cherokee scx10ii off ebay for spares but now u just changed my plans.
I would like to see you guys make a nice waterproof add-on box for the origin
Wow great kit might really have to give this a try cheers
Adding this to my Xmas list!!!
So will VP be offering a leaf spring conversion kit? 😝😅😅
Great video and Awesome chassis! I am wondering if this chassis could be used to make a wroncho build?
Thanks for the video cool chassis kit the new side rails look good I think it would make for a sweet kustom truggy
Absolutely, kind of how I built my Willy’s truck but the new parts are awesome.
@@HarleyDesignsInc you did a Great job on that Willys build the new Rock slides look Great Thanks for all you guys do Awesome love my VS4-10
Surprisingly affordable!
Looks great josh! When can we buy the axles?!?
Got one ordered, do you know when they will be shipping. Great upgrade for a good price.
Will this work for my traxxas slash?????
Was hoping to get a kit with the axles eventually

What are the wheelbase options? Rebuilding my RC4WD D90 not a fan of that chassis. Looking for a better setup
i love it!! Can i swap out that center skid plate for the axial scx10 2 kit skid?
The SCX10 skid will bolt in, but you'll have to come up with a mount for the motorplate.
Sweet chassis.
Like to see VP Portals & Traxxas Portals on here Since there's no other new chassees for these axles.
Traxxas axles are high on my priority list also. I have already done the VP portals.
@@HarleyDesignsInc When will that video be up on the Vp axles?
The first video going up is the regular SCX10-2, others will be following very soon!
Will the parts from a Enduro swap over to the Vanquish chassis kit ?
Running SSD and ScalerFab bumpers like the ones on the original Deadbolt budget build, is there provisions for these? Nice work!
The hole spacing on the outside of the chassis is the same as standard SCX, so it should bolt right up.
@@HarleyDesignsInc Thanks! Looking to order one when they are available.

Souledout RC its 110 on vanquish website
Michael Does Random right on bro really appreciate it
I’m wondering if you can install the knights custom front inner fenders for the 2017 Jeep body to these body post without any kind of modifications
Looks awesome! The truck in the background what is that?
Body is a 66 Proline Bronco body with an upcoming UCFAB metal cage ; )

well... maybe im wrong, i asked them about them, and they said "currently not available"........
Is there any eta when the aluminum shock towers will be released? I know it was mentioned it was gonna be an upgrade.
As soon as the end of next week.
Could you mount up wraith axles and a wraith transmission with this to make a wroncho
Does the original SCX10 II kit transmission fit into this chassis?
If I already have the VS4-10 Origin will these chassi parts fit and be for available for sale? Would help a lot when changing bumper, body etc!
They will be available separately but it will be a little while before we have them on the site.
Harley Designs cool thanks
Is the receiver box/ fuel cell waterproof?
Will this accommodate the 10.2 kit transmission
Wouldn't mind seeing what it looks like with og curries without panhard.
Servo clearance would be the main issue there. This chassis was made mainly for chassis mounted servo.
TFL axles or unbranded Chinese that looks like TFL axles (for the budget minded hobbyists)
I'll take 3!
What axle(s) upgrade do you recommend for the ECX Doomsday? Could use your help.

The plastic parts will be available separately before long. Shock towers are the same as before.
ooh... cant wait, hope it's realesed asap. the stock slider, though looks really nice and very functional and solid, are just way too heavy.
Will this chassis kit work on a gen 8 and if so would it make a difference in performance? Thanks
Only the axles, you’d need to replace most everything else. Which would help performance and durability.
Yes so glad to see this!¡!
Could you convert a Gen 8 to this chassis?
Do you know if I can get the metal bumpers and sliders from the orgin on vp website
No they were only offered in the Origin kit
What's the benefits of this chassis over an scx chassis and is there a UK stockist?
High clearance chassis for better suspension travel, more rigid, scale fuel cell, aluminum panhard mount, Servo winch mount and guide, and more. There is a full list on the features on the website.
The bottom of the fuel cell isn’t flush with frame rails. Don’t bother using wertymade rear bumpers
I think it depends on the bumper for sure. Also, we sent Werty a chassis kit last week for him to build whatever he wants. So I'm sure we'll see direct bolt on options of many styles.
Harley Designs sweet I really didn’t want to Dremel out the bottom of the cell
Would a Rc4wd D110 body be able to fit over (length) this chassis? Is there somewhere I can find a diagram of the dimensions? Thanks!
I’ll work on getting something like that uploaded to the website today for you 👍🏻
@@HarleyDesignsInc That would be freaking awesome!! I'll keep an eye out for it!
Will the new f10 axles fit this chassis?
Absolutely
TRX4 build!
Possibly by next week! It's my next one in line!
so is the frame gonna bend like the other too?
This frame is more rigid than any other frame rail set I’ve used.
I want one.. I may buy one
How about an scx10 mk1
What kinda “screw tray” is that?
regards Kris
That is the JConcepts rubber tray, very handy and cheap.
@@HarleyDesignsInc thank you very much!
can you fit the VP Shock tower for the SCX10 ll on the VS4-10 chassis? (VPS01860)
No, they are specific to this chassis
That is a *SASSY* looking chassis kit
Will this be allowed at axialfest?
Yes, any SCX10 replacement chassis is allowed this year.
So if i convert one of my scx10.2 to this chassis how exactly will it be better?
It's a solid looking chassis that allows for more travel and works with available part support. Whether or not you find that better would depend on how you plan to use your truck and what you wanted out of it.
jeffX140 thanks for your reply
@@voodootrucker No problem. Just my take on it, I'm sure Harley could explain the benefits better.
Is this design set up to accept VP portals?
Yes, works well with portals 😁
