I assembled F9 axles on my SCX10 II right before AF and man am I impressed, excellent axles. While I know this video is technically for the VS4-10 Pro, you can totally re-use the footage for an F9 Currie assembly if you haven't already. :)
Your how-to video screams quality, quality, quality...The Pro will certainly be my next build project. Also wishing that I had those axles on my SCX10 II. Thanks Josh!
When I begin to tighten the shouldered kingpin screws about half way in the knuckles become very tight, any tips? Also, Using the revised inserts that came with the kit, they seem to be quite loose as opposed to how they looked in your video. Wonder if these insets are also causing the issue with the tight knuckles
I'm having a small issue, the high steer arm on the left side locks up the steering knuckle because the screws seem to be slightly too long. I'm sure I'm using the correct hardware
I have got mine mostly built but one thing is troubling me, when putting the half shafts together I could not find any marks to line up so they will be in faze and not vibrate. Are there marks for this or do you not need to line anything up?
Nice. Can't wait. Thank you, and thanks for all your awesome videos. Have you met with, Scale builders guild in person, yet? Y'all should have a video together. That would be awesome. You both are great.
Just got mine in and I was just wandering if yours was pre those bigger shims on the rear axle that says to install before the hex pin they came with the kit. do I need those ?
@@HarleyDesignsInc OK. They just looked dry. Most unshielded bearings come unlubricated because they are lubricated by whatever they are running in. It's very strange to see unshielded or non sealed bearings that aren't either oil bathed or packed with grease.
@@RcCrawlin1775 I use the Vanquish grease but there are many good RC greases. I prefer a gear grease that’s good and tacky, not standard white lithium grease.
@@HarleyDesignsInc thank you sir I'm waiting on mine to be delivered I'm pretty excited steve is who contacted me you guys have awesome customer service

Those are some good looking axles.Seems like they will be pretty durable.
How can people give this video a 👎🏻
The guy is trying to help you with this video 🙄🔫great video Harley👌🏻
That axle is so worth it!!
Great how-to video! Looking forward to the rest of the series. My Pro arrived Monday. Built it last night. Body going into paint shop this weekend.
So much want! Wish I could get one of these! I’ll just admire from over here
Looking like an awesome build I’m going to have to get one 🤘
1st time watching the video: so awesome! i need this kit!
2nd time: silver or black?
3rd time: assembling black axles!
Do you have a video of the portal axles and how they are assembled?

You can try the originally included parts. They were too tight on some axle so the revised versions were included.
@@HarleyDesignsInc appreciate the help Josh

Great instruction video
Great info sir! Is that a moly type grease?
Great video! Hey Josh, can we get an idea on when the new dig for the Pro is coming out? thanks
I’m hoping for a week or so.
Harley Designs Thanks alot!!

There are no marks, you’ll just want to line up each side of the shaft to each other.
So what your saying is as long as they slide together smoothly I'm good?
I mean lineup the ears of the female side and male so they match. That will put them in phase.
Oh, Okay! Thanks Josh. =)
Why do the pro and ultra not have selectable dig and overdrive like the cheaper phoenix
Feel like this is just for me!
Looking pretty Sharp:)
Do you even know, when this kit is going to be available again?
Preorder for the next batch will open in a few days and the kits will be finished/Shipping in November.

Yes it’s best to install them. 👍🏻
Will the VS4-10 D44 axles fit on the Pro?
Yes they will. All the same mounting points.
Are you sure the diff carrier bearings are supposed to be unlubricated?
They have standard bearing lubricant on them already but they are non-shielded, not unlubricated.

Do you have to add oil or grease to the axels often ??
No, it’s really only something you do when you have it apart for something else.

Hey Josh, who make the parts tray you are using in the video?
JConcepts. It’s a silicone rubber style. Super cheap!
Hey buddy what is the length of the wheel base thanks man
12.3” standard wheelbase

Glad we got it sorted out, and hope it arrives soon!
How long did you study.
Wow! Beefy beefy!
Why assemble on video instructions are in the kit..if your in this hobby u know what to do already
Even with good instructions, customers still often have questions. Videos are a huge help in reducing customer service load.
Roger that, Josh.
Plus we get to hang out.
I have to waste my money on tools to fix real cars. That SUCKS. All I want to do is play with one of these.
Cant wait until I can get a pro. I'll just sit back and drool for the moment. Lol
So does to left's make a right 😂
