Fantastic performance!
I lost my mum early this May, the spirit of her this song evokes. Had a few tears and a time out listening.
I worked on the bar at The Phoenix, Arts Centre in Exeter when I was at uni and saw you play live and rode a wave of Dizraeli music 24/7 for a good period of time...then I graduated, left Exeter and seemingly forgot about it. Then today a facebook memory from 2011 popped up with some lyrics "take me dancing, take me from this place where I can't even breathe, oh take me, take me dancing"...considering the lockdown madness I like like "wtf is this all about?! Very apt!" so I google the lyrics...and boom all the memories of dancing come back...super chuffed to have found all your new stuff and that Gilles Peterson nominated you for the Worldwide Award - congrats - you've made my lockdown more fun!!
