Great interview. The one concern I have is about connecting emotions like the desire to build things with the concept of masculinity or “masculine energy”. There’s definitely a spectrum of emotions and personalities ranging from very active to very passive, but I don’t understand why we connect active with masculinity and passive with femininity. I can take a guess as to where the association came from, but I don’t think it serves to hold on to it.
