      The translation from warrior 1 or warrior 2 can lead to sheering on the illiac and is very uncomfortable transition pregnant. Awkward feet since warrior 1 has feet with space and warrior 2has feet to arch alignment.

    • @sarahbethyoga
      @sarahbethyoga  4 года назад

      Kristin Acius Warrior 1 and warrior 2 have the same foot alignment. I don’t teach spacing as a modification, instead I teach to step your foot in closer. if someone is more comfortable with spacing then they can modify and take extra steps in their transition.

    I highly recommend these to any woman who is pregnant and wanting a little extra physical activity during ANY trimester. They're all short videos so you can do one twice or do the "yoga workout" followed by the "bedtime yoga" or "prenatal Stretch". I also love the non-prenatal one for trapped gas and bloating. That is amazing! Sara Beth is CLEARLY well-educated in this field and I feel like these are safe for most if not all people. I'm almost 40 and 6 months pregnant. If I feel the slightest discomfort, I take the time out, get my mat, do one of these videos and I instantly feel better. I love SarahBeth yoga. My name is Marybeth. Maybe that's why I like her so much... Nah, it's definitely the yoga! Anyway thank you for these videos. They've been a blessing during the quarantine, especially!!

    I'm 39 weeks pregnant and I haven't been taking care of my body as well as I should for the last month or so... (Hello, aches and exhaustion!) Today I decided I needed to do SOMETHING, and this was perfect. It got my heartrate up and and got my muscles working without being too strenuous or uncomfortable. I feel so good and I definitely needed this! ♥️

    Thank you for these videos. This pregnancy has been hard for me so far. I had an undiagnosed uterine prolapse from my first baby and ended up on bed rest for 3 weeks while I waited for a pessary because it was so uncomfortable to be up for more than 15 minutes at a time, after getting back to my life from that a prior back injury was aggravated from carrying my son and again I was laid up with terrible back pain. I am very active normally and this last month I have felt trapped and helpless. I came across your videos and started following along at home with them for the past few days and it has already helped me immensely. The pain in my back has gotten much better, I feel less depressed and have reconnected to my body as being something that is physically able to tackle challenges. Thank you for making these available.

    Love the prenatal series, it does wonders for my lower back and general well-being in my second trimester ♥️ I still feel quite sick and low in energy, but this loosens up the tension in my body and makes me feel strong and relaxed at the same time. The power of yoga and a good teacher/guide 👌🏻 In a way I am glad that I have felt this lower back tension. It makes me understand the importance of yoga and a body that works more than just working out in order to look a certain way 👍🏻

    Through my first pregnancy, I struggled with pain in my right hip. This time (currently 15 weeks), I am already feeling that pain and am also much weaker in general (hypoglycemia, hot climate). At first, I felt so so good after these routines! Some parts can be challenging to stay stable in because I previously didn't exercise at all, but they are not painful. I'm working at a desk a few hours a day, and despite good posture and regular movement, my lower back, neck, and right hip are getting more and more painful. How do I know if I'm contributing to that with how I'm doing the yoga, or if it's likely just the sitting?
    Also, I don't usually like yoga videos, but yours are perfect for me!

    I loved the routine, but I'd reconsider the music.

    Sarah, when I finish my practice and get into the final pose (shavasana) I tend to get pain in my lower back. any idea why this happens and what can i do to prevent it? Thank you!

      Hi Mariana! If laying on your back is uncomfortable or causes you to feel dizzy then modify by rolling into your side. Otherwise you can add a pillow or rolled blanket under your knees for more lower back support

    I really like your classes, the voice isn't too "yoga-y" and the pace is good and it's a good combo of stretch and strength. Just in this video I didn't enjoy the background music.
