I relate the most to Terra and Faris. But I found Garnet/ Sarah to be very interesting too

You know I have an emotional attachment to Tifa and Rebirth being out doesn't help. But to be different, Terra and Celes are such a powerful duo that makes FF6 so special among other things. I truly love them (have to check the zine!)
I had a huge refresh while working on it and those two are truly the first characters with a lot of depth in their story and struggles, I love them. But so many other good dynamics in general
Tifa, Aerith, and Yuna always give me the feels. 🥹
Tifa is my favorite character, not only in the FF world, but overall in all videogame media.
Rinoa, Terra, Celes, Edea and Rydia are other characters that I like a lot in FF.
Special mention to Agrias and Meliadoul.
Good call, I tried to stay on track with main line games on top of some special mention and all of them ended up on Type-0, but tactics has Agrias and she's a queen, I always wished she remained relevant in the story despite those permadeath possibilities

Thank you for spreading the word about FanZine. All support is appreciated. There are so many amazing women in this series; it's hard for me to pick a favourite. I still recall falling in love with Terra's character a long, long time ago. I believe she was my first. ❤️
It's such an amazing job! Seeing the previews I couldn't believe how much love was put into it so I want to support it in more than one way ♥
Also, always a good excuse to showcase at least a little bit of each of the many amazing characters around. While doing this comp I got emotional over Lenna and Faris sisterhood for example, moments I may not think much on a daily basis
Lightning's 3 game franchise is such a nice story arc, her character completely changes, from the start of XIII to Lightning Returns really does put her down as legend, and a very powerful one too.
I love her so much, from her initial journey to her epic godly one until the end. LR ended up being one of my favorite games ever, I enjoyed it a lot and she is so freaking nice

wow thank you very much! I realized that if I wanted to start talking and fanboying over each character individually it would be 2 hours so instead I make it simple for each character without me interrupting the footage lmao
I was ready to scream about my love for Lightning but you made me remember how cool the moment of Dagger cutting her hair is. Her expressions feeling "free" and showing a change was so nice to see
Her change is so cute, it kinda makes me retroactively sad to see her in her previous expression and see the difference

I just want to say thank you for the amount of effort and time you put into making this video in highlighting all the quirks and/or nuances of every major female FF characters, especially the less popular ones. You did an excellent job in elaborating what makes Jill a great character.
Hey thank you very much for that! I appreciate that. I realized that if I started talking about the many great things of each of them this could be a 7 hour video so I attempted to show many and summarize as possible instead.
Just from my avatar on here, you can tell that I have an attachment to Tifa. As I have grown up with VII, it being the very 1st FF game I played, I tend to stick closer to the characters of that specific series. But I can say that I have great admiration for Quistis, Edea, Cindy, Lunafreya, and the list continues to grow as does the Final Fantasy franchise
Same, she is my favorite female character and thanks to Rebirth she's probably now my favorite character period, while I wait to see Cloud's arc in part 3 (which was my n°1 historically).
But yeah, my goal and objective is always to show love to most characters and thanks to that I discover many more I ended up loving like the ones you mention and more
My fave character of all time is Aerith. Her story is inspiring. Her character shows that mental strength is just as important, if not more than physical strength. I love the way she chooses to keep moving forward despite her doubts. She is a reminder for me that it is alright to have hope.

I love Rydia with all my heart and will always love her. But also all the ff6, the ff10 and the ff12 girls are awesome.

I never thought Garnet was cool enough to be “Dagger”. In subsequent playthroughs I’d name her Peridot. If you know, you know😉
I honestly sometimes struggle to determine how to call her, either Garnet, or Dagger, or maybe Sarah lmao. It completely slipped off my mind you can name them in those games so that's a good tie breaker
FF6 is my favourite game in the series. Terra and Celes (and especially Terra) hold a very special place in my heart, and their struggles to just be human and live normal lives spoke to me on a personal level that hasn't ever left.
Conversely, I never really liked FF7 as a kid, but Remake and Rebirth have reaffirmed Tifa as my favourite character in any form of media. Her caring nature and benevolence is something I hold very dear to my heart, and I can't stop thinking about all of the new details we have of her backstory.
Those are really cool things to know. I geniunely think that Terra and Celes both were pioneers of characters with a lot of depth and specially the idea of struggling to get to the answer they are looking forward, I love them for that.
And then yeah, I love Tifa and while Cloud is my personal fave, so far with the new games Tifa is taking that spot (until I get to see the end of their journey and see his arc is done nicely too), also the fact that she is a fighter is such a cool thing
@@DroWarriorOfLight Yeah, I love that Terra and Celes go through such growth, basically living an entire life's worth of experience in a little over a year. Such a compelling pair of badass ladies.
Tifa and Sabin from FF6 are the two characters I attribute to my fondness for the Monk/Martial Artist characters. And yeah, Tifa's story so far has utterly shattered me to pieces, especially with the new content in Rebirth. I can't wait for Part 3 to see the epic conclusion.
Aerith will always be my favorite, my #1 she's so pure, kind and her personality in Remake and Rebirth makes me love her even more. She's my wife ❤

I really think she is so well done. It's a character that put a lot on her own shoulders while never making it look in your face like this "poor lady that you have to feel bad for", she just feels nice and easy to love
