    Absolutely, it's commendable that she handled the situation professionally despite the sound confusion issue that was affecting her performance. All performances are not perfect. So what? It shows her adaptability and professionalism. Making the best out of unexpected challenges is a true mark of a professional!

    You can see she obviously confused about something around the 43 second mark. She asks a question to someone? And that’s affecting her performance. But she’s a legend, a professional so she carries on as best she can regardless. Plus,she’s a fine age, Respect where it’s due 👏👏👏

      Yes, I reckon she asked if they remembered to lower the key for her. Obviously they didn't.

    This flopped in the US

    • @bryanoquinnvevo
      @bryanoquinnvevo 11 дней назад +5

      THIS SONG WAS #1 in at least 3 other countries; very befitting of an international recording artist with options outside dismissive racism and segregation. When people overlook the impact of segregation in the music industry even in the late 1980s and label a song as a flop in the US without considering the bigger picture, it’s unfair. The success of a song shouldn't be solely judged by its performance in one country, especially when there were systemic barriers in place. That kind of dismissive comment undermines the talent and effort of the artists involved.

      @@bryanoquinnvevo it had nothing to do with racism. Americans felt Ms Ross sold out by doing a Bee Gees number, that's all, and there was a lot of competition on the charts at the same time. Hence it failed to resonate. And think about the lyrics - pure garbage. You can't even singalong to it. unlike her older hits.

    She must stop singing.
    Why ruin such a brilliant career?

      I think it's great that she doesn't listen to negative people like you. If she did, she would have never had such a brilliant career. She's still reaching special moments in her legendary career. Instead of listening to people like you, who don't do anything but criticize others, she focuses on her passion and love of what she does.
