I didn't like it when it was originally released, now it brings back fantastic memories of the great time I was having aged 17 in 1986 and the people I shared those times with. I now absolutely love it.
It's astonishing how much better Diana looks in the monochrome sequence than the colour sequences. They should have run with the TV show idea throughout ... gorgeous dancing by Miss Ross.
Remember that Diana Ross had been in the game for a long time. She'd *really* done TV shows like that so it was something she knew how to do by reflex.
