YOU WIN AGAIN
I couldnt figure why you couldnt give me what everybody needs
I shouldn't let you kick me when I'm down, my baby
I find out everybody know that you've been using me
I'm surprised you let me stay around you
One day I'm gonna lift the cover and look inside your heart
We gotta level before we go and tear this love apart
There's no fight you can't fight
This battle of love with me
You win again
So little time
We do nothing but compete
There's no life on Earth
No other could see me through
You win again
Some never try
But if anybody can, we can
And I'll be, I'll be
Following you
Oh baby I shake you from now on
I'm gonna break down your defenses
One by one
I'm gonna hit you from all sides
Lay your fortress open wide
Nobody stops this body from taking you
You better beware, I swear
I'm gonna be there one day when you fall
I could never let you cast aside
The greatest love of all
There's no fight you can't fight
This battle of love with me
You win again
So little time
We do nothing but compete
There's no life on Earth
No other could see me through
You win again
Some never try
But if anybody can, we can
And I'll be, I'll be
Following you

The Bee Gees were ONE of the greatest groups ever! Thank goodness for all the videos so we can enjoy seeing them all together forever 🎶❤️
Except for "Shadow Dancing". That's a Crime Against Music.
Sorry! The Greatest!
‘You Win Again’ may be one of the greatest songs of all time. Unforgettable Bee Gees.❤️
Full stop.
It's a fairly good song.

At 82 years old this is one of the songs that I can still dance to for a long while I just love it. Go Bee Gees forever ❤

For me the Beegees is the best artists ever. They have been rockin the 60s, the 70s, the 80s, and the 90s. Bravo!
Totally agree!! :)

and the 2000s? My I know what songs have they created in the 2000s that is a hit, I gotta listen to it. Hehe
+Klein Fletchers This Is Where I Came In
Daan Hooiveld , thanks man! Ive listened to it... Beegees are one of a kind, sadly, the Beegees are quite under-rated compared to other musical groups... is it safe to say that the Beegees are on par with the Beatles?
I come back to this video quite often and every time I have to replay it a few dozen times. It is just the best ever.
You can't listen to a Bee Gees song and not know it's them even though their sound and style has been through much metamorphosis.
Their harmonies will never be matched.

Absolutely, you are right 👍
The most talented musicians in history. No need for gimmicks. Look at the lyrics and please explain how they harmonise such complex and long lyrics. Unbelievable. Prince, Mozart and a few others are only fit for comparisons. They make the Beetles look like amatuers. A truly class act indeed. Classy and professional. People must appreciate this raw talent and pure musical genius.....

I can't imagine how Barry must feel after losing all his brothers. May God hold you in his arms. And know that we still love you & your music!
At some point one of them was going to be left alone. Losing Robin must have been devastating. They worked so closely together for so long they were much more than brothers. I imagine Brian Dennis and Carl all have the same thing.
He is taking it hard I'm sure. Such a close family.❤❤❤
And some channel made a fake death announcement of him(don't remember is it was before or after your comment).
He must've felt sad for his mum losing so many of her sons.
🌟🌟🌟🌟😞😞🥰
The Bee Gees never wrote a bad song...I am still learning all the songs they wrote that others sang! Even Sir Cliff Richard was in awe of them..he tells of being nervous singing for Barry! These guys are gold!
I always feel I must say that "Giving up the Ghost" is not a good song, IMHO.
Absolute gold leaves you nothing but the dreams.
I agree!
One, song that came after this was a good one too. Got way way overlooked
Oh, they wrote some bad songs. There's at least one on each album that makes me cringe. I'd never tell _them_ that. Mo said that insulting their songs would be like insulting their children.

I did the same for my Mom in December, through tears.

Pole for the loss
Had Barry not lost his brothers, I am sure that the BeeGees would have endured and they would have continued writing great songs. Came across the trailer for the Netflix BeeGees documentary this week, which sent me off the nostalgic road of the 70's and 80's - a great era for music, and the BeeGees were the best of the best. Glad to know that Barry is still writing songs and performs with his sons.

Have you heard of the REO Brothers? They are here on You Tube and do very well singing the Bee Gee's songs. I was quite impressed with them considering they use regular instruments not all the synthasizers and anything else that prop up today's singers.
This was played on the radio while I was driving this morning.... Instantly my mood was lifted...Thank you Bee Gees.Still up there with being one of the best songs ever.
It was their 1987 comeback single after several years of "absence"... boy was it worth it. .my favourite Bee Gees' track
They did tend to do that. Have a couple of great songs then go quiet for several years, then come back with more great tracks then go quiet again
I feel you bro. I always thought that I was crazy to have this as my favorite Bee Gees song. Guess i'm not crazy by myself.
Mine too
The day I left primary school 11yrs old,the girls in my class played this song, brilliant
@toxic bee: They also wrote, Chain Reaction for Diana Ross the year before.
These guys never did anything by half-measures. It has a catchy melody and a great hook that makes you rewind this song over and over again. And the lyrics are so effin awesome. It may look like the song is made up of simple, uncomplicated words and phrases at first glance, but once you analyze them, you realize that this song has greater depth than the songs released by artists today. Bloody brilliant songwriters these brothers are.
P.S. I just learned that this song actually won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically - proof of this song's excellent songwriting
Absolutely brilliant! It's like a hidden treasure within the treasure...once you discover the lyrics...I was amazed how deep and soulful all those disco songs were! Thank you for sharing!!
I don't know how many times I play these. Just love love love
No words can describe this Brothers. To me it never gets old.
The Bee Gees capture and evoke emotions that every human can relate to. People will be listening to their songs many years from now. They didn't need to dance or use auto tune-just one mic and their beautiful voices.
Saudades desses irmãos que nos embalaram com canções tão lindas e com vozes tão abençoadas q vão ficar em nossas mentes para a eternidade

The Bee Gees were indisputably one of the greatest band of musicians, songwriters and gentlemen ever…
I love the fact that at the time this came out, the Bee Gees were considered just about the most unfashionable band in the world because of their association with disco. And then they pulled this fantastic song out of the bag. It was a real 'punch the air' moment even if, like me, you weren't a fan of them before.
The entire time they went thru that, it was still their songs and music playing on the radio, winning awards and hearts of the world. These brothers have done more for music than anyone. The saying with big time singers is,'
if you haven't gotten to do a Barry Gibb song yet, you haven't made it yet.'

hi from Adelaide
From the Isle of Man not the isle of boys
I'm glad you're proud of being an "Aussie" but a trying to work out why you put it underneath this song. Is it because the Bee Gees are British and you're in the British Commonwealth.
@@chriscanyon4910 It's because the Bee Gees emigrated from the UK to Australia when they were very young. They took on the name Bee Gees in Australia and performed in live venues and on every possible Australian TV programme. They only left Australia about 10 years later because there was nothing in a developing music country that they hadn't done. They had their first No. 1 hit in Australia - Spicks and Specks. They had settled in Redcliffe Queensland before moving to Sydney. If you google, you'll find a statue of them when they were very young in Redcliffe. Standing with the statue at the unveiling is Barry Gibb.
This is pure perfection...the rhythm, the beat, the vocals(main and backing) ...their best song...let alone this was just a comeback song after many years...

What a great song. Thank you [Bee Gees] for your thoughtful songwriting and unmatched harmony. This is the best of the best.
May be the most perfectly crafted song in their impressive catalog. I remember they were persona non grata on Top 40 radio when this song was released due to the disco backlash : but all those DJ’s and music critics have long since been forgotten....and The Bee Gees live on! 55 million views!!
Bee Gees change sound to what's popular in 70s = RAGE
Bee Bees change sound to what's popular in 80s - Oh COOL
To be fair, I vastly prefer their original 60s sound. And while I hardly hate it, I wish they hadn't changed to disco. But there are a LOT worse genres than disco, and I'd far rather hear disco than most of the modern pop/dubstep/electronica related crap now, any day.
Except the U.S. is not the only place in the world and this song was a huge, huge hit in the U.K. where it was a #1 smash and remained in the #1 position for four weeks in September 1987.. It hit #1 in Ireland Austria, Switzerland, Norway and West Germany (that was pre-unification). It remains one of The Bee Gees most important songs because it represented a milestone in their career when it reached number one. They became the first act in UK chart history to have at least one number 1 single in each of three decades, the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. It’s a brilliant pop record which has managed to sound contemporary almost 35 years after it was initially released in 1987.
Yeah, it seemed to come out of nowhere in 1987 and just blew the charts apart. Went to #1 in the UK very quickly. It was almost weird, because for several years the name Bee Gees had become a bit of a joke (despite them continuing to write amazing hits for other artists), but this changed everything.
A brilliant song indeed and my personal favorite of them.
Fu ch the haters. Long live the BEE GEES!!!!

The Bee Gees we’re one of the major forces in music. When they were not having hits of their own they were writing hits for someone else. Amazing. 👍👍
If there's one thing that Barry Gibb and his brothers have really left us, its a whole load of songs that are really great to sing along to. Brilliant song writers, brilliant singers, and seemingly very nice guys.
4 decades of songs
Great song. This concise industrial 80s beat and the distinctive BeeGees voices. The BeeGees stamp on the 80s. Perfect.
I can't resist adding this....there are many one hit wonders, and some 25 hit wonders, but to put together a compilation of hits that the Bee Gees did over 5 decades, constantly adapting to changes in the music industry, to break the anti- disco barrier, takes intense insight, genius, and magical songwriting, singing, and phenomenal God given skills to set them apart, way apart, from the field. The sheer mastery of their craft is analogous to Secretariat with the triple crown in 1973, especially the Belmont stakes... God's handiwork in action.... heavenly!!!
I've heard and collected almost every Bee Gee album ever made and it surprises me that more of their songs aren't well known. Albums like Size isn't everything (title cringe), Still Waters, Living Eyes, and High Civilization contain several masterpieces such as My Lovers Prayer, Heart Like Mine, Secret Love, Bodyguard, Living Eyes, Haunted House, and For Who The Bell Tolls.
+Tyrion Lannister Spot on. They certainly gave us our moneys worth, with so many quality songs on each album.
+Tyrion Lannister Agreed! Living Eyes is my favorite album (today anyway :) ) It's full, start to finish, with GREAT tunes!! Living Eyes, Don't Fall in Love with Me, I Still Love You on and on I could go!!
+Tyrion Lannister Unfortunately, many of the albums and singles they put out after the "Spirits Having Flown" album (which produced the Bee-Gees' final three U.S. #1 singles) didn't do well outside of the trio's native England; in fact, after "Love You Inside Out" (released from the afore-mentioned "Spirits Having Flown"), they had only two other top 40 singles in the U.S. between 1980 and 1988, with "He's A Liar" and "The Woman in You", but they didn't have another top ten single in the U.S. until 1989 with "One", and after that, they never had another U.S. top ten pop single. In fact, they only hit the top 40 in the United States one last time in 1997 with a top 30 hit, "Alone", off of "Still Waters". After that, they pretty much faded into obscurity until the deaths of Maurice (January of 2003) and Robin (March of 2012) Gibb.
EricEbac22 How could they, when they got no airplay. It was so unfair that the backlash lasted so long.
PS songs they wrote for others charted.
+allymayful Indeed they did, but as I mentioned, as far as the songs that they charted, and I just mentioned this, between 1980-2000, the Bee-Gees had only four top 40 hits in the U.S., the most successful of which was a top ten single "One" in 1989, which peaked at #7 very early in the year (Source: Wikipedia), but other than that, they had only three other Top 40 singles in the U.S., those being "He's A Liar" (1982), "The Woman in You" (1983), and "Alone" (1997).

I don't remember hearing this song years ago, but I LOVE it, and can't get enough of it. The BeeGees had more talent, vocal gifts and songwriting skills than many who were even more popular than them. It's so tragic that Maurice and Robin passed away so young. We've lost countless songs that they would have written and recorded. But, God bless Barry, who remains so gifted and still writing great songs. Long live Barry Gibb, and please God, keep him healthy and safe. We love him.

Have been the hugest Bee Gees fan since their first appearance on Australian television back in 1960... I have always adored the lads and from the age of eight I saw their future of making it huge across the globe, to have witnessed it take shape over those years has been something I would not have missed.... Sadly we have lost Andy, Maurice and Robin far to soon but their music lives on as their legacy of what they felt so patiently about, music and entertaining their fans over the years.... Barry is now the only one of the lads still living and to this day carries on the Bee Gees tradition of entertaining fans across the globe.... Thank you Barry for giving so much to your fans who appreciate your dedication, most of all your love to those who have meant so much to you, your brothers.... I WANT TO WISH BARRY A VERY HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY TODAY.... ALL THE VERY BEST AND MAY YOU KEEP GOING STRONG AND FOR A LOT OF YEARS TO COME.... LOVE YOU...
REST IN ETERNAL PEACE ANDY, MAURICE AND ROBIN !!!! REMEMBERED FOREVER.
sad person
Yeah, some people have no hope of appreciating great music
@Suliven you are a complete douchebag. Piss off.
I like renaissance polyphony. that is great music, not this
sad person
I remember this song like it was composed by Beegees yesterday....I was a 3rd year medical student at Kenyatta National Hospital in 1987.
Lovely memories of the great 80s music 🎵🎶.
None like that period ❤
*The year is currently 2022 and this song is still an absolute classic*
This song should be devoted to Man City
@@simonwarner6594 hi
Since `87...and i was born 1976.
My dad heard the songs without a rest. A nice time...

Still the same and ..... will continue to be.
Sir Barry Gibb.... His contribution to the music industry over 50 plus years is outstanding. It will be an emotional day for him when gets his Knighthood. As his brothers won't be there....
2021 is in 6 months. The world is different. But their music is not. Nothing can beat the good times. Who is with me?
I'm with you rock on
U cool
True indeed! Greetings from Uganda. Their music was a global phenom.
I am. Their music never dies!
I’m with you👍
God Bless my wife ,we always liked the Bee Gees. She's in heaven with the three right now . God bless you Maurice Gibb I know you miss all your brothers.
Barry the eldest, Maurice died first of The Bee Gees and 2nd of the brothers after baby Andy.
God doesn’t exist. You’ve been lied to your entire life and the sooner you banish that lie from your life the sooner you’ll be free to think for yourself.
love how they seem to be so into the groove and beat of this song..wonder why Barry didn't wear his hair like this more often?..such a really good look for him!..and there's Mo swinging the neck of that guitar around with his cool style..and of course Robin rockin that Beret cap and his "Awww Girl! Oh Girl! Oh Baa-By!"...simply SU-PERB!
I absolutely, positively 100% agree with you
YES i love his hair in this! it actually makes him look cute xD
+Rainbowdash241 it's not his hair ? ...its the song Hello :-)
I love this song
also
Probably my favorite Bee Gees song of all time. And Barry Rocks the pony tail.
yeah total good look
Not many men can. He is the exception.
I love ponytail Barry!
Here's their best performance of this song, with Barry rockin' out.

Great Lord! That's music. Wonderful lyrics, amazing amalgamated voices, unique feelings. This is what music should be about. Thanks God I was a teenager in the 80's! I didn't miss the best time with my energies intact. Live forever Bee Gees!
I have been a fan of the Bee Gee's since 1967. I have loved almost all of their songs. Together and separately. But from the first time that I heard this one it caught my attention and has kept it continuously.
Nostalgic for the times in the 80s as a kid holding my mother's hand. Live your lives and enjoy every moment.

I bought this when it first came out n still love it. Its definitely in my top 10 favourite songs. Great song from a great band. R.I.P Robin n Maurice
And Andy
Barry Gibb, you are one of the greatest musical genious of all time. Too underestimated by youngsters of today. What a tycoon in songwriting. Great, great admiror of your music !
DITTO
No band ever dissected issues that weren't just love, loss, hope etc, like the Manics. I think thry got that life is more complicated than that. And to do it with such class is always breathtaking❤
Bee Gees Are Timeless!!! RIP Andy & Robin.
+Rob Morgan What about Mo?
+Rob Morgan RIP Maurice too.
+Rob Morgan Only Barry is left.
Only Barry and their sister Leeanne left
This has to be the catchiest chorus of any song I've ever heard. Once it gets in your head good luck getting it out.
Eles são bom de mais
Meus Irmã
Probably one of the best bee gees songs of all time
It's not one of favourite Bee Gees songs either. Although a fine song, they had so many other gems that surpass You Win Again.
Each to his own wht made this so good to me was it was Brilliant song an it wasn't their usual style
@@renaldolukas1599 They sure knew how to reinvent themselves and their late 80s songs and production felt highly contemporary! My favourite Bee Gees era is 1967-1972 but truthfully, I like all their different musical guises!
Along With World The Best 2 Bee Gees Song's Ever
"More than a woman" ...
It was music of my school, when we dance in disco, brothers Gibbs had the best voices on Earth. Thank you for sharing. I remembered than world it was better place to live. It was before 37 years. I missed that time
Always remember this from one of my holidays as a kid. I'm 45 now but I loved this song from the first minute I heard it. Fantastic track
Ye man i'm 48, never remembered from a holiday but still solid bro :O)
I'm only 21, and I absolutely agree with you! Easily one of my favorites!
I'm 43 now and also remember it from being a kid, great song!
This is a fantastic song in the way that couples need to get along. We don't fight. You win again. That is such a perfect thought for loved ones to work things out. Love it!
This song takes me to another dimension. It thumps through my brain and fills my loins leaving me just addicted and pressing the repeat button. Music is the best drug ever.
I wore out my vinyl copy of this song. Thank goodness for You Tube. Thank you whoever downloaded it.
One of the most beautiful songs in the world and by The Bee Gees.
Beautiful song......2020..
So true
@@michelalombardo44 your beautiful
Classic
Criminal that this wasn't promoted well in the States - should have been a big hit there like everywhere else. Barry Gibb is up there with Paul McCartney and Jeff Lynne...
Stax Moon he’s above them
As a songwriter, possibly, As a singer definitely not. Horrid adenoidal squeals.
Not Barry Robin was the better one of the 3. As a songwriter singer and good looking.Hell of lot better than McCartney.
Better than Paul McCartney! 💁🏼♀️
I agree! Fantastic music. I wonder what Sir Paul and Sir Barry could do?
I still listen to The Bee Gees every night! The greatest group in the history of music!! So glad Barry has continued to sing. R.I.P. Robin, Maurice & Andy. GONE, BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!!! 💙💙💙💙
Me too!!!
One of the grand daughters or nieces are continuing their legacy with Barry
Gosh I miss those guys.
Forever brothers..............................
The Bee Gees are timeless. I’m 60 years old and will always love them.
I wish I lived in the 80s for this kind of music, instead of the crap we have now
Heck yea that would be cool. From a Pokemon trainer to another.
We could have music as good as this now if we make it. That is your challenge, pokemon trainer, grab an instrument and start composing.
I was raised with and they became a part of our lives...our generation is devistated at Maurice and Robins passing it's like a piece of our life is gone as well. thankfully we have you tube now so we can revisit them...such a part of you we were and are
People used to say the same about the sixties pokeman3652 it's called life. Never appreciated this band when they were having hits, now just on a journey of discovery
***** Today's 'popular' music is mostly, _objectively_, complete garbage.
And can there be more music like this please? People these days think we don't want music like this anymore but yes we do
my mums fav song she died in 2012 bless you mum xxx
R.I.P.
+Pauline Arrowsmith she'll be looking down on you ,so you keep your chin up in life , she can see your face better :-)

+MrFoliumofdescartes : We are ALL Immortal, and with live forever after this life (hopefully in a beautiful place)...Thanks be to the loving Sacrifice of our dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen!
It's crazy I am still a Bee Gees fan in 2024!!!
Their vocals and harmonies are pure magic !! They don't make music like this anymore !!
I know right? If you like this, then try them with loving you too much from staying alive.
Marta M no they don’t Marta x☺️
They are one with the music , they are the music ☺
@@et8736 I agree with what you say

My all time favourite Bee Gees song ❤
me too. all day long.
It's so weird, but this song makes me sad because i couldn't grow up in the 70s-80s. Heard this song on the radio today, and it touched my heart right away. And thanks to my mom, she knew this was bee-gees = ) Good to atleast have a mother that has lived through the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s :)
*Totally* agree! Our generation produces crap for music, it's best for us to support the classics ^^
Oh please
I lived those days. it hurts when a man remembers his shattered dreams and lost love
reckard roland oh god, really all these years?
Maybe you should get some help with this stuff....
80s at heart
The actions to this song and how Barry and Robin did them perfectly summarized their personalities/position in the band. When they did the "fight" gesture, Barry held one fist up and looked like he belonged. Like Tyson.
"On the other hand," Robin held both fists out to the side, not looking like a boxer, but a little kid getting ready to fight a bigger brother. Ironic, but perfectly telling.
Барри всегда очень брутальный, мужественный! Робин женственный, кулачки сжимает по-женски!!
These guys will never be forgotten there music was just outta of this world ♥️♥️
I agree, Great music will never die
Ivan Nugent lets not worry about grammatical issues
Top class brilliant
@pete smyth just don’t ruen the moment.
It's sad that we only left with Barry.
The beat, the unison, the unparalleled lyrics, their movements, a song to blast from the mountaintops, so the whole world can have their spirits lifted in pure joy.. absolutely 💯% perfection!!! Infectious to the core.... what genius..at the top of their game!!!!
Bee Gees - one of the best groups of all time.
So CLASSIC. still listening it today... Love it
Going to basketball games as a 7 year old, older brother 9, dad mid 30s and still playing basketball games somewhat pro level. He was in the national team and playing for Fribourg Olympic, top team for decades in Switzerland. They played this during warm up pre-games. Everytime i randomly hear this on radio it warps me back in time. Love how music ( and smells) can transport you into memories instantly. Fresh cut grass in the summer, or how the air smells on a hot summer day when the rain starts...
They (BeeGees) will NEVER die!
RUclips broadcast yourself
Along with "tragedy" this is my favourite Bee Gees' song...and to think that it was a just a comeback single after a break of several years...man...
When people used to make fun of the Bee Gee's ....... now what I'd give to have all 3 of them back together.
Christopher, you are so right!!!! All together!! Wow!!!
Barry is the only one left. He's going to have to live forever.
@@coreyculbertson5036 In our hearts all of them will live forever
Помню в начале 90 ,часто показывали. этот клип ......Тамара.
Amazing - all those years away and they came back with a clonking, banging, right up to date track like this. I loved the Bee Gees.
I wish I could put this music in a bottle and drink it....... so it could fill all of me with it.... all of my cells.... this music is magic....
Sorry maybe the most weirdest comment ever... I know....... :/
Nah. It wasn't that weird. Just very colorful & unique is all. Haha. But this music is indeed magical.
I would gladly pour the same into my drink and shares with you. This music streams through me like a soft wind of spring, it fills every cell and heals heart, body & soul. True bliss!
Comment wasn't weird, just ingenious :-) Merry Christmas to you all! (Joy to the world etc.)
Thank u so much Svein Grimstad... so very kind of u... I wish u... well.. X-mas is over now but: I wish u a Very Good and Happy New Year............ Take care and thx again...!
