Since I started making these videos in 2017, I have been lucky enough to receive the support of some manufacturers with materials to use in my videos. Since May 2018, Chestnut Products have provided me with stains, an iridescent paints sample set, lacquers and waxes. I'd like to thank them for their kind and generous support. Martin Saban-Smith has provided me with a sample set of Intrinisic Colours.
All other products and tools, unless where indicated, have been bought from suppliers at retail prices. Products mentioned in my videos are for information purposes so that viewers know what I have used.

Definitely a great idea if you want a second inexpensive travelling companion for that spontaneous moment of airbrushing.... just need to be able to pack the lathe too.

I airbrush most of my work with Fiber Reactive dyes, and have purchased a couple of these types of inexpensive systems just to see how they work. For someone who wants to try airbrushing, I have recommended this option to my students, and they have been very happy. I really like your term, "Infectious Fun"! This inexpensive airbrush system will work very well for what we do with our woodturning. For the price, it is cheap entertainment, and less than a night out.

Cheers, Nick. Small print says it only works with the supplied airbrush but I have found some of the others I’ve got do work with the compressor…but not all…

That's sneaky. Getting a review video, a coloring video and a turning video in one shot. But I think I may have been one of the people who said retirement wouldn't be the endless luxury of time that people think. 😉
Interesting demo, I may stop by the local nail salons to see if I can get a deal on a used one. Just because I'm cheaper than the next guy.

Yes, you need a laser engraver. I made wonderful Christmas ornaments from photos of the grandkids. I also sign my turnings with it.

I've been thinking about something like that, because I've never used something like that before, and I don't think it would be of much use anyway. but it would be nice to try it out a bit and it wouldn't be bad to have something like that in stock now. And it's always nice to learn a new skill

I can sympathize with not being in the shop as much as you thought you would. I've been retired over 6 years and I have less time to work in my shop than I did before.

Beautiful, but i must say i liked it more without green and yellow. Would be nice to see it, when the middle is taken out. PS: I wrote this Comment when you began with Yellow. Now that it’s finished, i like the Colours too. 😅 Though the „smokey Pattern“ at the beginning is my fave . Very nice Video and well explained Stewart. Greetings from Bavaria

Having seen the BBC TV news tonight I think I now know where your new colour scheme came from. I think it was influenced by the King's new tartan which you possibly heard about whilst doing your Edinburgh Fringe gig.

Thanks for that video, I have the very same one sitting in a drawer the last two years id say. At least now I know how it all goes together 😂 I got it for the exact reason of wanting to try airbrushing without investing too much in something I may not use. I think ill take it out of the box this weekend and have a go now. Thanks for sharing.
Also, get yourself a Cricut machine, they are great for cutting your own stencils. 😉

As of the end of November 2023, the unit is now advertised on eBay for only 18 GBP! Hard to go wrong with that price.

Hi…I tried it with airbrush paints and it worked….have since found it seems to work best with the supplied airbrush as not all the other airbrushes I tried worked with it….
