Since I started making these videos in 2017, I have been lucky enough to receive the support of some manufacturers with materials to use in my videos. Since May 2018, Chestnut Products have provided me with stains, an iridescent paints sample set, lacquers and waxes. I'd like to thank them for their kind and generous support. Martin Saban-Smith has provided me with a sample set of Intrinisic Colours.
All other products and tools, unless where indicated, have been bought from suppliers at retail prices. Products mentioned in my videos are for information purposes so that viewers know what I have used.
Nice work, Stewart. I appreciate your ability to bring a mirror shine, or rustic and aged look.
And we'd love weekly videos. :)
Thanks, Jay! I'm hoping to get one out this weekend as well....must start filming it very soon!!!
Developing the art of camouflage has saved me a bunch of times too.
...just gotta take all those design opportunities as they come along!
I wasn’t sure at first if I would like it but it turned out really lovely! You are a true Master of Arts my friend 😊❤
Thank you so much, Angie 😀
I love your work on this Stewart!🔥🔥 👏👏
Thank you, Kevin - got there in the end!
Great results. Well done. Be safe in Spain.
Cheers, Doug! Glad you like it. Spain was just brilliant!! I hope to go again one day. Cheers!
perfect job Stewart, as always perfect. I was watching your demos in Xermade, Galicia Spain this past weekend.....Thank you
Thank you, Jordi! And thanks for watching me in Xermade. I had a wonderful time in Spain and would love to come again!
Really nice looking piece Stewart and I think it does look like a piece of pottery.
Have fun in Spain.
Take care mate.
Cheers, Huw
Thanks, Huw👍 Spain was AMAZING!!!!
I love you Stewart! You have the same eclectic taste I do, which is not normal lol. Yes, loved the end result. I must say when you were turning it the last time I was very afraid of seeing a funnel lol. I've been watching, guess too lazy to comment. Thanks for another great video. Stay safe, Vickie
Thanks, Vickie! I was only thinking a few days ago that I hadn't heard from you. Great to hear from you again. Best wishes! And here's to not being normal!!
Interesting, Stewart. It looks like a piece of southwestern (USA) art.
Bill
Cheers, Bill! I'll have to do some research on southwestern art!
Beautiful work as usual , love the shape of your bowels too. I have a piece of maple in line for an attempt at your style....😊
Go for it! Cheers, Robert - glad you like it!
You again already? Wow! Back to make amends? All kidding aside, I like how version umteenth turned out. Keep on spoiling us please!
Haha...yep, can't get rid of me now...but I haven't made the next video yet, and it's Friday today...gulp!!
@@stewartfurini And I see you are doing an ear worm gig, too. Busy, busy, busy!
Yep. It's all go at the moment!

I liked the previous version, it really caught my eye. (Sorry)
I like the rings of clay effect. The color choices worked out well, although when you were applying the red stain I began to wonder if there was a remake of a Hitchcock film coming up. It did end up a worthy successor. Hope you enjoy Spain and the food.
Thanks, Bill...had the spiral been cut cleanly, I may well have kept it! But you know how much I like playing around and changing things. I had a great time in Spain - wonderful event, great food, and amazing people!
Part way through I thought you had had a few too many pints and a curry and then thrown up. Then by the end, you do your normal trick and come up with a nice piece.
Cheers, Roger! Always great to read your comments...a curry isn't a bad idea, but I'll leave out the throwing up.....though a famous woodturner with the initials N and A, did refer to me 'vomiting colour over wood'! Haha!!
You do interesting impressive pieces but I am not seeing you use a respirator for all the lacquer and sprays you use. Hopefully you have a great filtration system but if not you will pay for it! I hope I am wrong. Your health is paramount. Thanks for this video
Thanks Scott - you are of course absolutely right about ppe and I am highlighting this in my next video. No matter how good a filtration system you have, personal ppe is still needed. Glad you enjoy my colouring experiments. Cheers!
