I'm really liking that, the white works really well. Hope all the renovation work is going well. I don't think that should be turned again, I vote for a free giveaway... after all, who doesn't want a finished Furini piece in their house (it's such a rare occurrence 🤣)
"Let's watch some sanding instead" 🙂 Definitely a line you don't hear every day. Thanks for posting a great piece with techniques that don't require an airbrush. (One of many "one tool away from greatness" that I don't have yet!
Awesome piece Stewart. Great to see you back. I wouldn't say no to a chance at hosting that one in my collection. Enjoy Portugal, don't spend all your time there working.
A fantastic setup you now have with the new cameras, it offers so much more to your productions. Love all the work you do, you have got to be the Bob Ross of woodturning colouring and techniques.
Great looking bowl. I have to confess, though, if it were me doing this project, I would have stopped at several points before the end. Really, I totally liked the striped bowl before you did anything. I would have finished it right there. Lovely end piece!!!
I was loving right up to the white. Still like it. Wasn't going to say anything until you did. Glad to see you posting again. Always enjoy your videos.
HI Stewart, Really great to see the techniques. It would be good if you could you incorporate a little more info on the finishing materials particularly on the bare wood. Many thanks
Quite nice. I was liking it pretty well before the white went on. I don’t mind the white at all. Think I liked it better without. I’m sure someone is shouting “more white please.” No matter. It is very nice regardless.
I still like it. But I also agree that the quantity of white might not be contributing to the plus side of the appearance. Hope the next run leaves off the white as a comparison. Have fun in Portugal. And what viewer would ever advise you to NOT do a giveaway? 😂😜
Hi Stewart, if that poor orphan is looking for a home I would be more than happy to provide it one. Even before you mentioned the flag I had thought that but the colours were wrong for the Union Flag unless you know something we don't know and that it is going to change just like the football kit. The Black Ebonising Lacquer looked to have a blueish tinge, was that your quality cameras picking it up off the lathe? Another question, the piece you started out with I quite liked the scheme, is there an old video on it? Cheers Roger
Hey Stewart! Here's a "what if"... what if you splattered the white in A SMALL QUANTITY (lol)? OR...maybe you could put it on first and then cover it with the other colors. OR... take your white paint and put it in... the cupboard (lol). You seem to always say just a little white and viola...ewww. But you're actually the professional here so, I'll just get mouthy and then go on to tell you it actually came out sorta ok. Thank you for sharing your creativity with me again. Stay safe, Vickie PS please take this comment with your humor out
Haha....white is the new black...I seem to have phases of always putting on white or black as a final colour! Humor is always good! I even spelt it the wrong way specially for you!!
I'm waffling about the white. Maybe just a bit too much? While you were doing the red I was thinking about peppers. No idea why, perhaps I need a sandwich. I like your new camera setup, very promising. Too bad these innovations still rely on fallible humans to turn them on. Safe travels, enjoy Portugal. One of my cousins who lives there (Not bad grammar, somehow I have two cousins living in Portugal) does say that the wine can be a bit sneaky. So enjoy carefully.
Subscribed because of “irksome” ❤️
Thank you!

Haha...cheers, John.....yep, a finished piece is rare indeed!
As always entertaining from start to finish keep the inspiration coming 👍👍
Cheers, Barry - hope it inspired you to have go?

You're welcome, Dan - some great effects can be created with paper towel!
You're getting quite good at this Stewart. Perhaps you should run a course. Great work as always. ;-)
Good idea!! Cheers, Snifter!
Your work is improving.
Cheers, Robert!
Awesome piece Stewart. Great to see you back. I wouldn't say no to a chance at hosting that one in my collection. Enjoy Portugal, don't spend all your time there working.
Cheers, Mike - had a great time in Portugal too!
I really like this Stewart.
The colours go so well together.
Take care mate.
Cheers, Huw
Thanks, Huw. Glad you like it!
I didn't think I was going to like the addition of the pink, Stewart, but it looks great!
Cheers, Billy - I like the colour combo....but I think I went a bit too far with my coverage on this one!
A fantastic setup you now have with the new cameras, it offers so much more to your productions.
Love all the work you do, you have got to be the Bob Ross of woodturning colouring and techniques.
Cheers, Nick - glad you like the new set-up...still some tinkering to do with it, which I love!
another great video many thanks Stewart
Cheers, Keith!
We missed you! Great job Stewart.
More to come!
I like it, think a give away is an excellent idea 😅
Thanks, Ann!

Cheers, Randy....I am my own worst critic and I think you are probably right!
Again!! We missed you!
Cheers, Alan!

Thanks, Nigel. Had a great time in Portugal.

Cheers, Ian - will do one on my bare wood finish in a future video...
That looks great. Thanks for sharing. Good to see you again!
Thank you!

Cheers, Doug....if you've seen last week's video you'll know by now that this has been covered up!
I like the amount of white, it grabs hold of you and demands to be looked at.
Thanks, Martin!
Nice piece. I have done a couple of the tape stripes, will have to try the paper edge paint. Sarasota Woodturners, Florida
Thanks, Eric!
Very nice.
Thanks, Scott!
Give it away Stuart 😀
....oops....it's been covered up as I went off it!
That’s a shame as it was nice
@@ianthemonkeyhangerturner Cheers, Ian....I'll do another one for sure...some day soon!
I like it, Stewart. I think the white adds a lot. It's definitely a keeper (or give away). Would a giveaway include the US?
Bill
Cheers, Bill! My giveaways cover the entire world - but I had some misgivings about this one so it has been 'transformed' again!
Love the colors
Thanks, Richard. Glad you like it. Cheers!

...thanks, Valerie...though the giveaway never came about for this one....can't help myself!!

Cheers, Roger - the bowl was originally coloured using the technique shown here: studio.ruclips.net/user/videoxxbJvq5wHPQ/edit

Cheers, Bill - had a great time in Portugal...been home for a couple of weeks now and slowly getting used to my 'normal' life...
