    Lovely work, Jeff! I just stumbled upon your channel tonight and I'm excited to see more of your videos. I think the bowl turned out beautifully. The pin hole is so small it's barely there at all. Happy belated 2025 from Seattle, WA!

    Great job on that bowl. That is one reason I don't like mounting with a recess. If I had to guess I'd say it might be some type of Oak

    I am in the process of turning a similar black cherry bowl I have the outside finished started the inside hopefully I can finish with out ruining hope it looks as good as yours

      Thank you for the compliment. Turning wet would is always a cross-you-finger and pray it doesn’t crack. I learned that turning it thin and consistent throughout works the best. 🤞
