In today's video, we'll dive further into the S10's LS Swap by installing a complete Hooker Blackheart exhaust system. This will be a semi-custom install as there are some slight modifications that need to be done if this exhaust is being run on an extended cab or a long bed truck (due to the exhaust being made for a regular cab). I'll walk you all through the process of install and what I ran into along the way to hopefully help make the install easier for some of you out there. Overall, these exhaust kits are some of the highest quality on the market. Great fitment and 304 stainless steel. For those who want a refresher, take a look at the series playlist (link below) to catch up to where I'm currently at! Long story short, I ran into some unfortunate issues with my prior setup (355 SBC/700R4) and decided to chuck it all and plunge down the LS route. I had a 5.3L truck motor rebuilt and installed a mild cam, it'll be mated to a B&M 4L60E. I'll also be using the complete Hooker Blackheart LS swap system from Holley to make installation a breeze. This is a big departure and a lot of planning/progress has been made, it's just taken longer with all that's going on the world. Thankfully, the truck is now in a much better place so I'm looking forward to sharing more content on it in the near future! Thanks for watching!

I like the bench seat. The interior is going to look cool when your done!
I think so too! Thanks dude!
Lol I see his plans with this truck aren't coming as expected he's probably sick of fooling with this truck 🤣
One of my favourite builds!
Thanks buddy!
Can't wait to hear that engine roar! It's turning out nice Kyle!
LOL! First 45 seconds into this, Kyle looks and sounds BLAZED!! Cheers Buddy!
Really cool build 😁😁
I'm glad you got the exhaust system for the LS Swap Chevrolet S10 very well done bro I enjoyed the video
Glad you liked it!!
This is what I was looking for, thanks 😁
awsome video kyle s10 is getting closer to start up time and cant wait to see how it sounds thumbs up and shared
I went with Cavalier bucket seats and a floor shift center console from a Jimmy for my 94 S10 build. Truck was originally a manual so there was no shifter for a automatic only thing I had to do was drill some holes to mount the shifter and console to the floor. Cavalier buckets bolted right in with the S10 seat tracks.
Very cool.. one more step closer. Me personally I would wrap that passenger side exhaust next to the trans. Help keep the heat down for it. Great job! Stay safe and be well.
Thank you Dave, much appreciated!
That setup looks like it fits great! I got to see those headers at their booth at PRI when they came out a few years ago and always wanted a set
Shockingly good fitment considering how far back and down the motor sits, definitely worth the price IMO. Thanks so much for watching!
Awesome video Kyle!
Thanks!
Amazing! Taste video! Good job
Let that ls engine rumble the shop😎 keep the videos coming kyle!
Dude I can't wait!!!
The engine bay lookin fire 🔥
Thank you so much!
Wow the car are so cool.
That exhaust system that you're installing that looks good that's going to look good on the S10
I think so too! Especially with some polished stainless tips!
@@saabkyle04 trust me will
The build looks great I am not a fan of the bench seat but other than that I think the projects outstanding look forward to your next post
Thanks man! I'm just excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel at this point LOL.
the most i like youre video is the 1998 blazer
And I will see you soon in the next video
I like bench seats too.
And your the best
Wow, had no idea the S10 had an "open architecture." Just kidding. This looks great! Thanks Kyle!
LOLOLOL that's just standard weight reduction! Thanks pal!
🔥🔥
Hey, great car reviews saabkyle, wanted to request if possible to get another car review done on the latest BMW X3 m40d, and the M Sport trim 30d model (not the X3 M), as diesel engines I can't see much on reviews on here (it would be a good comparison between these two as you seem to have an ideal amount of info on each review). Thanks very much for your time.
So I noticed that you don't have to do any welding that's really nice.
Hi Kyle, This turned out great! Can you tell me what Brand and where you purchased your Exhaust Hangers for this project?
What trans did you end up using? Did you use a one piece drive shaft? Your build looks great ,I'm building same truck ,also going with a bench seat.
Hey kyle, you might look into wether a gmt800 40/20/40 front split bench would fit in there. That way you would still have the bench but also a folding armrest in the middle for comfort. The middle part could be too wide though.
From what I remember they're too wide. I contemplated building a console with cup holders at some point, but we'll see. Appreciate the suggestion!
Where did you get the windshield visor? I know its been over a year since you got it but im doing a classic look on my 96 gmc sierra with the windshield visor and cab spoiler or fastback as they call it
I think a better idea for a shifter would be something similar to the Syclone. Maybe one out of a GM car from the same era that looks like the Syclones shifter
Looking good Kyle and are you going to put a stereo system in the S-10 like you did in your Jimmy
I'll do something, but it won't be near as elaborate as the Jimmy was. I have too much money into everything else at this point LOL.
U have changed drastically 🙂,,,use to watch your new car vedios way back,,,,do those as well like the old times,,that was your U.S.P for creating 1.3M subscribers,,,,so,,,,, don't just get into rebuilds,,,do that as well in unique style.
I am focusing on my projects and the new shop i'm starting, but I appreciate the support! Watch my recent youtube LIVE as I talked about it all more in depth. Thanks!
Where did you get those headers? Did they come in the whole set?
What type of rear end are you running? I need some help on my vehicle.
i am going through your videos now looking for two issues....1. what steering gear box did you use. 2. what intake is that.
Thanks Mike
Hey Mike! I have a quick ratio Borgeson steering box, part number 800132 if I remember correctly but double check. It's a direct replacement for the stock one and offers a 12.7:1 ratio. Being that I no longer have the rag joint, the steering is so much quicker, responsive and communicative. It's a great setup that I highly recommend if you're building something to "drive". The intake is a Holley Sniper EFI low-profile fabricated intake manifold, part number 820102-1. Hope that helps!
Did you have a spot to put O2 Sensors.
What headers did you use in this video?
i cant get these headers to work on my 82 s-10 don't know why i used blackheart motor mounts
What master cylinder did you use?
Hey Kyle, since your upgrading the rims / tires on the S10 build what are you doing with the existing ones? Would you be interested in selling those?
Yes absolutely! I will be listing them soon.
@@saabkyle04 so I can be on the look out, which selling platform do you use?
Which headers are these? thanks
And your nice
What's the part numbers on the head of
Boom first comment
Thanks dude!!!
🙏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎🤗🤗
What ever happened with the S10 Crew cab?
Sold it quite a while ago, too much of an undertaking at the time
@@saabkyle04 oh no 💔 I really love those videos. And what about the Jimmy?
Man
We all know you
My name is Jaiden I'm a 13 year old boy
So bye
This looks awesome, the quality of the build is impeccable! I will miss those wheels though, they are perfect!
