How did u do the wireing to chnage the fuel sending unit because I looked it up the models that had a fuel pump in the tank the wireing connector is different because the ones that were carb also has a different connector. I'm wondering how did u do it and make that work ?
I have a 85 s15 that was a 2.54cyl and I swapped to a 2.8v6 carb and I wanna swap sending units but I seen that the connectors were different so I'm wondering how did you do it exactly so i can swap mine , my truck runs butt i don't like the idea of the mechanical fuel pump having to suck through the pump in the tank plus the sock screen and everything I know that's gotta be real hard on it .

What others would have done and what I wanted to do are two totally different things. That being said, I bought the engine already rebuilt with the cam installed. I had mentioned that already in previous videos. I also wanted a carburetor. The AVS2 is phenomenal. The fuel atomization is far superior to a traditional carb, which, as you can see in the video, yields amazing throttle response. Everyone seems to gloss over the fact that I wanted to build this truck more old school with minimal electronics...

SBC rebuilt and warmed over a bit. No idea on horsepower though. I bought the engine from someone else. I'd love to dyno it one day and see what it makes.

guys here use non ethonol gasoline, 98 octane pure gasoline. it works better with carburated engines and older cars in general.

@@saabkyle04 only reason we got to keep this pure gasoline is because there is still a lot of 20-30 year old vehicles on the road that need it.
