  • If you are looking for budget storage containers for camping, overlanding, rv travel then check out the rigid boxes from home depot. The prices range between $24.99 and $39.99 which means you can have an entire kit for less than one pelican case.

I went to those about 2 years ago. They are fantastic. I have a single Roam case, and some others I got to test, but these are the ones I lean on.

They really do hold up well, I still have all these and no issues, cracks or anything and they get abused. You just can't beat the price. Thanks coming by and leaving your thoughts about them as well.

Love a good storage idea! Good to know they seal up pretty tight to keep wetness out.

Thanks for pointing me out to these. Almost pulled the trigger on a roam box, which is like 300 some odd dollars, will go on the hunt for these tomorow. You got urself a new sub. Godbless.

Awesome, we appreciate it and we are certainly glad we could help, I think those expensive ones are great if you need an exact size but otherwise it just seems like such a waste of money that could be spent on other stuff. We are still using our same boxes from this video every week, they have held up well. Have a great weekend! 🙏

I have the Craftsman variety; they are a little more expensive but as an add-on, they have a two-drawer unit that is perfect for the kitchen accessories. I have a set for my camper and one for the garage, they're great solutions!

I carry the larger one in my TD as a toolbox/repair supplies. Great heavy duty tool box.

We have these mounted on the rack on our rig. The electric cords are in it and is makes for easy hookup

I have all of these with multiples of some. They are split between tool storage and hobby stuff like GoPro accessory storage. I did just get the 28in rolling mobile job box for random camp tool items like stakes, mallet, air pumps, etc. Hopefully I will try it soon. Great video.

Thanks for stopping by, that is a great idea for camera gear etc, I might have to pick up another one just for that stuff. Beats paying the ridiculous prices of the other brands

Rigid makes some really good stuff and you bring up a really great point-don't think you can't go overlanding or feel insecure about your gear when you see all the IG and RUclips bling that people have, it is nice for sure but not necessary to out there and have a great time! Great looking cases. Fried Oreos??

She makes fried Oreos while camping sometimes lol it's in one of our grand canyon videos 🤣

I bought the exact same ones for the top rack. They are extremely well made, can be locked and are waterproof. Paying $299+ for a case means your an idiot.

Will they keep raccoons away from foods stored in the boxes?

yes the latches are great and you could even put a small lock on them. They also have a rubber seal that should keep the smells contained Thanks for stopping by
