I made sure to get a portable battery that would run my 35 quart alpicool to run for at least 2 or 3 days. I also charge on route, then use solar panels when settled down. Doing that, I could probably stretch it to a week if needed, but mostly 2 to 4 days, which is plenty.
Ecoflow delta 2 (1014 wh) and jackery 500 as backup. I do bring a backpack cooler full of ice and will fill it with soda/beer cans once there.

Digging the gear videos every once in a while. For tire care, I run with an air pump and 2 bottles of slime when I'm out rambling. One fateful trip, lost in the wilds of West Texas, I managed to puncture both rear tires. The first bottle was so old it had separated and I didn't notice before administering it. But I managed to shake the second bottle back to life and get one tire rolling and along with the spare eventually made it back. Slime: I never leave home without it.

Nick- I mean this as a compliment, but....you were meant for a bigger stage. You have a bigger TALENT- than just behind a camera rolling film. Dude, you were MEANT to be in front of it. A Natural.....with that buttery delivery and AZ desert dry wit. Even when you're not drinkin', I'm watchin'! And dude- that theme segment alone deserves your own Netflix or Amazon special.... because drinking and photography have always held hands.

Very interesting. I didn't think people still used acetate film. I was a studio photographer back in the '70s and '80s and bought the first advanced 4x5 Sinar P in North America. I had two Hasselblads and a Nikon 35 mm. Along with a few other cameras. However I did mostly fashion and Studio advertising photography. However these days I prefer digital. Especially since I can use stacking programs. Such as in exposure stacking, focus stacking Etc. Basically I can shoot a scene at multiple exposures, one for the sky, another for the Shadows and one or two exposures for areas in between those two latitudes. Then I can combine all multiple exposures in the program and it will select the best exposures for each of the different shots and combine them into one single photograph. We could never do that in the old days because the sky would always get Overexposed if I were exposing for a Shadows.

Great video! One item I would recommend is a hood mounted thin solar panel . They can be pricey but there is a 90W from Cascadia for your vehicle. It will allow you to charge your battery while parked. So, if you are running the fridge constantly, you can also charge the Goal Zero. Just use a 12V outlet that is constant power. I can swap the fuse on my cargo area outlet to work either way (ignition or battery)

The cloud photos were great. I get the feeling you process these films yourself from the push comment, but I don't know how one could get back to positive from a negative film. A nice end to my weekend. This was a fun two-parter. I thought you were going to wind up the video after you completed the camping gear walk-through... but NO! You got me you silly SOB 😉. I enjoyed seeing your camping setup. It’s quite a bit different than mine, but I picked up a pearl or two which I’ll try out. The landscape is so different out there. It was a joy to watch you photograph a phenomenon that I’ve never seen before. Thanks for that. Cheers 🍻

This is such good content. You should pitch this to Netflix or something.

This is too good for netflix, their content is immature, unprofessional and without a substance, this here on the other hand is a complete opposite.

Top notch content again Nick! I can only imagine how much time and money it has taken you to perfect that gear, seems like a very enjoyable camping car. Great photo too, if I'd only seen the photos I would have thought you took these from an airplane.

Great set up and love that you try to keep it budget friendly. I would definitely prefer a roof top tent but otherwise really liked it.
