I agree with everything except them Morganthe amulet. It’s good and it will last you until dragoon. And you can also get a other schools amulets while farming for yours. I don’t have to farm it on my fire or storm cause my death already has them waiting in the shared bank ☺️
Always farm tower of the helephant, every character. Heck only use gear you get from tower of the helephant nothing else. Even at max. And the Atlantea trident works super well with it.
I would farm morganthe for the amulet and athame because it's 30 levels until dragoon gear. it's not a long or especially tough battle, lots of players still farm it and you can do runs very quickly. Plus you may get other schools gear in the process.
The most underrated gear in Wizard101 is the crafted gear you can get in the middle of each world past Zafaria. Wintertusk 56, zafaria 66, Avalon 76, Azteca and Krysalis all have this type of gear. It's easy to craft and will get you through 20+ levels easily. I used WW gear to zafaria traded out the boots and used that until Avalon where I got the full set there and used it until Krysalis where I upgrades again to do Darkmoor.

The only reason I touch Tartarus is for the Waterworks upgrade going into Darkmoor, Hades drops a very offensive glass cannon set and an improved Waterworks set, the only issue is it gets replaced so quickly. I got pretty lucky getting my gear, but yeah the drop rates in Tartarus are horrible, like Hades drops a lot of trash before you get dropped the stuff you're looking for. If the drops were reworked to be better so you didn't have to grind so much than people might actually farm Hades. It basically gives you double the crit of your Waterworks set without sacrificing much if any damage. You also get pierce, more block (which is now more important to have since the crit & block changes) and more health depending upon your school which can be helpful getting through Khrysalis until you hit level 100. Add to this Khrysalis is an incredibly difficult world, like just the first few fights you're forced to do in a single instance by yourself in only Waterworks gear is extremely challenging. Unless you're massively over leveled from doing side quests and you bother craft better gear after Waterworks, or you farm Aquila. Add to this the not so uncommon situation of being in a greenhorn Darkmoor team up, nobody knows what to do and everyone has Waterworks gear.
For poseidon gear, I only want the boots :( But I don't have patience to farm it. I did Olympus 31 times and still didn't get any hat, not even senator
TBH you should just preach the crafted gear route. It will help get new people into crafting early which is a good thing and it also completely negates all farming for gear until darkmoor.
So I farm tower of the helephant for the mastery amulets, I do know that the drop rate is terrible and if ure gonna recommend waterworks, lemme tell u I farmed waterworks for 60 runs without a single mastery and got a mastery from tower of the helephant on the first run.
I would only tell someone to farm the tower of the helephant if the athame and ring were tradeable but, it isn't so honestly I just tell people to stay away from it unless you are a completionist.
Since i have crowns to spend, I always like to do ONE tartarus run, and spend crowns on the second chance chest a whole bunch of times until i get a few good pieces of hades gear, then move back to questing. Of course I wouldn't recommend this if your someone who doesn't have the money to spend. Just putting it out there though. It's still very good gear and makes Darkmoor much less of a pain.

Kane for you it makes sense, because you solo a lot, so it’s very important to have the best stats, for the average person they can skip over it, and do completely fine.
Let's also add the fact that you *don't* have to do the entire dungeon due to the simple fact that the only thing that's viable is the athame. Which is dropped in the very first battle lol

I tried doing Tower of the Helephant back in like 2013 or 2014 and the team I got had extremely low stats for their level (talking about like 20 damage) and they were extremely incompetent. I was raging so hard and just gave up halfway because things were taking too long. To this day I still haven't completed it.
The best arc 2 rings and athames are the ones dropped in wintertusk (mainly nastrond) for level 56. You can usually buy them at the bazaar Also imo the main reason not to farm Atlantea is because the gear gives NO resist at all. Or at least way less than waterworks, so even though it might have more crit and pierce, for Azteca you really need all the resist you can get. And while the Hades gear is actually really good for level 90, the fact that it's like impossible to get a good team that actually wants the run the dungeon and not just Cronos is impossible. Also some people argue that the Hades gear actually gives more damage and pierce than Darkmoor, even though that's true SOMETIMES, Darkmoor gives shad chance and way more crit and accuracy and pip chance so it's definitely worth waiting for that. IMO tho I think farming the morganthe amulet is worth it, the blade it gives is a good help for arc 3. Definitely not necessary by any means but it's not as useless as the shane amulet or divine influence. Great video though that's just my take on all of this! :)

I think mount Olympus should be there as well, there's so many level 30s there spending fucking days farming the gear which, sure is good but it is not worth the effort when you could just speed through and get to level 60 in the time wasted
I heard that you should farm hades in preparation for Darkmoor, or to make farming Darkmoor smoother. Or is it okay to stick with Waterworks gear through Darkmoor?
I did Briskbreeze and toth because I actually do like the rings which are pretty good, and i think they are guaranteed drop, so do those, because i say theyre good.

amulet of divine influence is by far not the rarest drop, its not rare at tall just takes a shitton of time, it WAS once rare but Hades droprate has been increased over the years
Fine video, can you do a little more research into these though? I would rather see an image of the stats or at least have you explain what the stats are for items dropped. Saying that there is a ring you can get or something like that is vague and not super great for making your point valid.

at level 90 you should farm for the alpha omega ring and blade of the felled titan. but now you should farm Yevegny. Mind you if you haven't got morganthes amulet farm there and you may get her athame too, an excellent alternative.

With atlantea i definitely agree it is not worth farming, as it takes too much time and waterworks/zig zag gear are way better alternatives

What level are you? If you are above 90 then farm Cronus, if you are below, I think waterworks is better, and you prob just got lucky with toh.
I need low level mastery amulets for low level PvP, the high lvl ones have a level restriction

farming Shane isn’t bad because you can use the “port to main hub” button to skip through every battle in the dungeon until final.
