The only thing I appreciate from the new update is that pet hatching with adults is cheaper. It only costs 16,000 (8000 hatching cost and the 8000 to instantly hatch) versus the 50k before. But hatching at mega costs like 100k plus your left kidney
After a couple of YEARS, I finally got a full energy pet for my gardening and fishing days, and pet training. I think its an awful shame to have bad stats on a first gen pet that you purchase with crowns though. Those should come with great stats.
Here are some more tips for making pets: 1) take a screen shot of the parent pet talents the new pet will have the talent you want in the same place as one of the parents and when you get the pet even as an egg you can tell if it will fail. Basically one of the parents will have a higher pedigree so it will try to "copy" the order manifested on that parent exactly; but will now change which talents it gets based on the new ones i got from the other parent. So what you should do is hatch with the pet you want and if the talents are in place then train it past adult the better this is since you now have more of the same pool in the same order hatching the offspring with the pet talents of the parent effectively lets you slowly clone it. 2) Pet snacks matter and i am not joking you can try this on test realm if you want feed the pet the same snack and let it hit mega go back on test realm again and feed it another snack you'll get different talents manifested sometimes its 1 that's different sometimes it's all 5 and confirming it is doing it on live realm. So if you are hatching with a friend ask them which snack they normally use. 3) pets that are the same pets with the same pool as in exact copies of one another when hatched together have a shift in their values hatching them together will yield an increase in one value or a degrees going forward but this increase/decrease is capped the good part about it is if you for instance want a pet that gives higher damage you can keep hatching to lower overall agility and intellect and maximize power strength and will the max you can get on a pet without a selfish talent is 11 dealer, 7 giver and 3.2 boon rounded down to 3. Because of this every school can techincally now be immune to all schools but the pet needed to achieve this is very hard to make. Source: duelist 101 forums,my personal testing to confirm it
@@masonic8549 I don't recommend the kiosk because the hatch numbers are limited to 10 and usually good pets are near their limit. Find a friend who is willing to hatch until you make a pet which you can clone stats onto other pets. Some people make the mistake of seeing the talents to be the same but you don't want just the talents you want derby talent to be the same too if you train it until mega with only talents the same it might still fail if both talents and derby talents are the same it won't fail as you train it. Basically you hatch with the same pet making adult pets the first one is always the hardest to make the rest are easy.
Pets were all I really focused on when I was a small child. I logged on to train my pets religiously, and I had no mega snacks so I trained them exclusively using the games. I got a first generation Heckhound and a Trojan horse to ancient using only tier 1-3 snacks and the games. It took ages. Which is what's weird... I dedicated so much time to pets, and I wound up with no good pets. I have a castle full of the things, and spent more time in the Pet Pavilion than most. I maxed their stats. But talents? We don't do that here.

On the topic of evil magma peas, farm bosses who drop them. Couch potatos are also decent with snacc count. Harvest usually when gardening benifits arrive for double the snaccs even if seeds got nerfed to hell hahaha
A year late but I'm finally bothering to try and get a decent pet. Waiting for it to hatch right now because I'm cheap and won't pay the gold or crowns to hatch. Pretty sure I just got my orthrus back and not the other pet but oh well.
Lol my fondest memory of Pets is hatching my first 100% pet like I had may cast unicorn and may cast storm blade and this pet made my storm OP I hatched for a month straight to get it and that night I went to sleep woke up and they fixed the pet and took may cast uni out of its skill pool and storm blade so my pet was shite. Lmao the best memory of getting my 100% pet and getting shafted in 2 days.
FormalPhantom lol you reaction sounds just like me the next day and yeah it was the pterodactyl pet they used to have maycast unicorn on it and I got lucky and go all the best skills on the sucker but then I woke up to it being the first age and having 1 skill and maycast pixie I was mad as hell and plus I waisted 10 packs of mega snacks cause I think they also had a pet exp event on.

Control click should work low normal but not appear on the item. I’m on Mac and the game crashes everytime I check the, where can I get this gear thing. It’s just so shit. Also, countless glitches with the becoming your pet.

Okay, dumb question, but I just went to the hatchmaking booth thing and hatched with a super good stat for 75k and it looked super good, and my pet already has decent stats, I just wish I had the pet the other guy had, so my question is, how do I get another pet? I went for a PvP pet I thought would be good for balance PvP Unicorn for healing and so you can sustain longer Balance damage giver Pain giver And I'm hoping for spell proof and spell defy

Its literally all personal preference. If you have friends to quest with, being a support role such as a healer or high resist wouldn't be bad. If you're more solo you can maybe try both crit and damage. Or both types of pets! All preference

With the new update you can only select 2 talents and it makes it much harder to find a perfect pet to hatch with. On top of that there is only 10 hatches per pet until you have to remove it and place it back in for others to hatch. It's incredibly annoying.
I'm kinda confused I hatched a pet with the blade spell but I didn't get it, does it mean that you don't always get the talents you look for? Because if it's the case, I'm kinda disappointed I had to level it up so many times haha

if you give your pet snacks related to say intellect, would the talents received have a higher chance of being something to do with intellect? I'm asking this because most my snacks gave intellect and when I trained the pet the first 2 talents it got were only shitty intellect ones.

It does to an extent. Your pet tour receiving will have some talents from the pet you had while hatching. So if you have mana gift as a talent on the pet you hat while hatching your new pet might have mana gift. Think of hatching as a more pg way of sex. There’s two pets that are hatching and their creating a baby who has genes from both of them that in wizard 101 are classified as genes

The physical appearance can be either pet, or sometimes they make hybrids. But the talents are a mix of both parent’s gene pools

Just saying when I go to grumpy gobblers it lets me skip the game and that has saved me so much time.
You can skip it if you win it enough times. Which is why saying to never win the game is bad advice if you want to save time later.
