Death has it so easy with training points when you think about it. You dont need to train for feint and you dont need any helpful heals like satyr since you can always gain health from hits. I think i have like 17 points on my death lol.
If you have membership and aren't reliably renewing it, then don't do side quests. You could be spending that time getting to new story areas and advancing through the game. If you buy areas permanently with crowns, then do every side quest because that's where the value of your purchases comes from.
After years of playing the game, I almost always go Life to Satyr, Ice to Tower and Death to Feint. I also use training points to get elemental blades and sometimes traps but also Reshuffle. Good video, makes me happy to see so many videos on this game now
As a death wizard, I dont think you need to train up to satyr. Your own spells (vampire, scarecrow, etc)will heal you enough up through dragonspyre. For the celestia dungeons, you'll be able to solo until the final boss where you'll need a buddy or two due to boss cheating.
I'm kinda late but for Life Wizards, one other spell you absolutely need but aren't told where to get, is the Life Trap from where you also get the Reshuffle. I found out about it long after I've went through half of Grizzleheim, which was... a pain.
@@harrywhitton4107 I’m max Balance, Fire, and Myth. I meant get a storm mastery to help up until like Zafaria. You know how hard it is to fight bosses when we do like 400 damage with 3 buffs
It’s so hard to explain the whole “I don’t have this right now but you need it” thing in Wizard101... So I feel your pain on that. I have a very different deck setup style from yours but I agree with all the spells you chose. Good stuff!
Set shields are also nice as they do 70% for 2 schools. When I was storm I was mainly solo, and I remember Avalon bosses usually have a minion that has a school for a certain shield. For example you could have a fire boss and an ice minion so you would use the set shield learnt from storm teachers. It's better than tower shield as the minion might waste it on a low hit and then the boss will do a massive hit
As a balance Wizard, after I got availing hands I went and rebought my training points because Satyr gives a similar amount of heal, but does not take my power pips. I found I stopped including it in my deck.
I agree with mostly everything. Only thing I want to jump on is getting all the spells from Niles because you never know when you'll have to be in a support role. Being Ice or Life for instance would greatly support your teammates no matter what school they are in. As an Ice main; if I have a teammate that is a Death wizard, I'd tank by going in the fight first and support his character by giving spirit blades, shields, feints, etc.. It'll make the fight go by a lot quicker.
I haven't finished the video yet but one big thing i'd like to point out. A tc satyr is the same or maybe even better I can't really remember than a primordial satyr and they're cheap too. Don't train into satyr it's a waste of points. For these other things I'm gonna point out idk if he actually tells you to do them in the video but it's still a good thing to know. TC reshuffle costs 3 pips instead of 4 so it's better to just buy tc's than to waste training points on it. And tower shield tc's are 5% better than training into tower shield. All 3 of these tcs are easy to buy and also very cheap so don't waste your training points on these!
One thing to add! although you shouldn't train to tower shield you should still train to the set shield in the ice school as its 70% resist to fire and storm which are the hardest hitting school so it's very very useful to have
This video was really great. Also funny cause it reminds me when I saw a balance asking if they should train forest lord in the arcanum saying balance doesn't get any good aoe spells. I just looked at him like, how did you even get this far in the game with a mindset like that.
Shadow Spells Location: He didnt show the location on the map so here is how to get there... Just started playing today again after so many years. I really missed this game so much and so far I am enjoying it. Love the video and thanks for the tips it helped me out.

She had access to krokotopia somehow, but I was F2P) and I logged into her account one day and saw she had 3 learning points. Decided to help her and bought some abilities. For some reason it's a very fond memory to me To clarify: She wasn't disappointed in me since I had good intent and actually thought I helped her
Honestly I’d recommend getting both the elemental and spirit trap/blades regardless of what school you are. It gives you the flexibility to play support if you ever need to!
I think this was actually a very good list. And almost perfectly mirrors mirrors my selection that I had to find the hard way through trial-and-error of years of play...lol

Thanks man you area a legend, now i dont have to waste my crowns on getting back my training points, also as a fire wizard it makes this a lot easier to follow lol. I just got back into this game after like 8 years, and this really helped!
God, my Life’s gone the entire story so far without Tower Shield, I just realized. I’ve definitely got the points to spare, I just thought it was more of a PvP recommendation than anything, and no matter the game, I suck at PvP. Also, for whatever reason, The one who teaches you Reshuffle also is the person you get Life Trap from. Don’t know why that’s there, it honestly feels like a glitch Kingsisle just kept in the game, but that could be just me.
dark nova is useful on balance since it can be bladed kind of like a normal attack. Since until you get to end of mirage your kind of stuck using King for your feints if you don't use Nova. Empowerment I would suggest for all solo players since once you get it the only attack that doesn't trigger it is nature attacks. And if you starting in the dungeons for armor it does help you keep your pips so can support/heal often. Since you can trigger empowerment with using stuff like savage paw. I tell you to avoid the upgrade since rank 6 are rare.
I don't think it's really necessary to train to Satyr anymore. Back in the day during max cap lvl 50 yes. I think buying healing TCs is a better option imo
A few remarks on some outdated info and a few things that weren't mentioned in the video: If you're doing pvp, in addition to Infallible, you also want to train all the accuracy/pierce sun enchantments, since they are the only ones you can use in the arena, as well as Infection from Mortis the death tree and all the spells from Diego in Unicorn Way. Fortify and Brace are also highly desirable spells for pvp. For defensive purposes, you may also potentially want to train Weakness from the balance school as an alternative to Tower Shield. For a life wizard, you could also get Primordial and Radical if you feel like it, though they aren't as important as damage enchantments. Though indeed not necessary, some of the moon shift attack spells in Khrysalis can potentially also be useful for some specific tactics in pvp. I feel like Berserk is kind of pointless to use (though you want to train it to get Frenzy, which is good), since you also get your school-specific aura at about the same point, which offers only 5% less damage without applying any real penalty to you. Though that's just my opinion, I would actually advise against training Satyr (especially if you're a death or balance, as you obtain your own reliable heals very soon), as that spell falls out of use very quickly after level 30-40 if you don't have a life mastery amulet, and until then, Pixie is generally good enough to keep you healthy. Even if you have a life mastery, I'd still rather recommend using Satyr treasure cards from the side deck, since they're very easy to get from the bazaar and you will only need them in an emergency, which will save you main deck space and training points for more important spells like the others mentioned in the video. Similarly to Satyr, I would also advise not to train Reshuffle, but to use the treasure card version instead, since it costs 1 less pip and you will only need it very, very rarely. That will also save you a training point at the low levels, where training points are especially hard to get. As for the question about using the shadow creature spells, yeah, I actually carry one Dark Shepherd that I use sometimes when soloing hard fights on my balance, since it basically works like a Scarecrow and balance shadow hits aren't that useful in pve anyway, so I often find myself sitting on 2 shadow pips when pressured into playing defensively against multiple bosses at once. It's gotten me out of some tough situations, though it's really a highly specific card that you probably don't need on any other school 😄.
Stop saying things are "obvious". We look for these videos because we don't know what we should do. You're much better off explaining WHY you think it's "obvious".
I get use from all the minion buff spells I'm now fond of Moon Magic it is a good utility school for an example if u have no more spell to cast instead of fleeing just polymorph & fight on & Mutation Magic is good for changing 1 of ur spells to a different school
Lol here i am with a level 42 life while he's like. "Of course you know about where to get shadow spells at level 82 idk why i even showed the map" like bro nah xD. Good video it was very helpful for down the line your awesome
I always go for Tower Shield first because it’s useful longer, especially since lower world bosses have lower health. I then go for Feint next and I find Satyr unnecessary on schools other than Life.
I'd argue it depends heavily on which school you go with. As an Ice Wizard I have access to some pretty great defensive spells and can steal shields from opponents. Maybe the damage is lacking but Ice is easily the best support school overall. I'll probably go with Life and Balance spells to support allies and heal while being tanky taking almost 0 damage thanks to resistance.
I’m a life wizard, always has been and I trained all of death now I’m regretting it bc I just now watched this video and I’m in celestia fighting for a star school spell
I learned the opposite school to my character. Made me the perfect counter to my same school enemies. I’m a storm who trained myth and I wreck all storm bosses bc of it
At one point you mention that this helps low level characters. I just went to try and get them, but the tree in Kroktopia wouldnt sell me any. The character I used was a level 6.So I tried my level 45 and no luck. It seems they arent free. You need points to train from him. However, that little house in Collussus Blvd did give me a few spells. Thanks for the heads up. Do I need to be a higher level to access some of these places, such as where to get the Sun spells?
Not sure if this is helpful anymore but for the astral spells you will need to be at a higher level, as the astral schools are in later worlds, starting at Celestia I think. As for the balance tree, you'll always need training points for the spells mentioned in the video.
You as a storm should learn the life tree from celestia. Use a shadow pip defender and then use the life tree. Then you will block 90% of attacks and be able to heal spam
Funny you should mention secondary... lol. So, because I main Balance, I resorted to go second Life due to the effectiveness of it to Balance and to heal up. Then I eventually caved in and got a Mastery for Life spells due to the healing since I always got my ass handed, heh... And I agree, Polymorphing is only good for PvP. I was rematching a 125 Ice (I was only 80... roll, crazy, huh?) And a Cat Burglar one switched the tides for me and I won. My opponent is still salty to this day, lmfao
Picture this two fire wizards and no healing spells what do you do use a moon spell most preferably a life polymorph and I don't train other primary schools on my fire wizard I do secondary schools like astral and shadow + all dark spells like dark nova are great for my play stile.
Hey, is Feint really that good if you're doing DoT stuff or using multi-hit stuff like Minotaur or Hydra or whatever else hits 2+ times that I can't think of right now? I feel like I never want to even use traps in Myth, but maybe I am being a dork
I honestly don't believe satyr is recommended too much unless you're more support efficient (e.x. Life, death, balance, ice). Also, could you make a video of how to maintain your stats above average as you level up? I tend to run into players that have below average stats at higher levels (e.x. 110 storm with 70-90 damage).
Who told you that death is a support school?I have big damage and I can hit very good...I hate when people think I should support storm and fire just because I am death but never take a look to my stats.😡
I’d say as a storm wizard that feint and Berserk are risky and tower Shield being a must given how low our health stat typically is taking increased damage to deal increased damage when our damage output is already so high seems to risky at lower levels at least. My mind may change level 60+
Agree with everything besides Satyr I’d strongly advise no one do that , you’ll be okay as most schools get their own heals and it costs way too much pips without a amulet
Tower shield isn't that good for PVE, I disagree with you. Especially if you're an elemental school. If you ARE an elemental school, then you have your schools 70% double shield, the 80% shield of your own school for free, as well as the double shields from death and life if you're training to Satyr and Feint.
I think everyone has trained an entire school at one point because we didn’t know how to spend our training points
im fire school and i saw the amount of damage the storm school cards did and fell for the trap

Just do all the side quest it's always worth it. Do them as you get them. That way when you start doing main missions they will be way way easier.

Picture this two fire wizards and no healing spells what do you do use a moon spell most preferably a life polymorph and I don't train other primary schools on my fire wizard I do secondary schools like astral and shadow + all dark spells like dark nova are great for my play stile.
How do you get that mount, it’s insane
It's called the eleven nightmare pack
two of the moon ones are good in pvp it’s the bug and the ogre but i forget the actual names
Hey, is Feint really that good if you're doing DoT stuff or using multi-hit stuff like Minotaur or Hydra or whatever else hits 2+ times that I can't think of right now? I feel like I never want to even use traps in Myth, but maybe I am being a dork
Only ting I gotta say my mon is dat you gotta say da level Dey can be trained broddah Mon
@@ladyofthewoods4532Death is 4th strongest hitter.
Storm, fire, myth, death, balance, life, ice.
There are already TONS of videos on RUclips about which gear to get between level 1 and 160
"guys" -FormalPhantom
i wasted all my point on storm when i was 7 lol, i just got back to playing like a few months ago
Lol we gonna talk about the rip off from krysalis eclipse tower lmfao
Edit - oh nvm
Shift Grendel and shift Greenoak are good in pvp
i know moon spells are not useful or very good but they are fun to use.
what is the point of playing wizard 101 if you dont have fun right?
Mass Prism too
YES
How do you get training points
I’d say as a storm wizard that feint and Berserk are risky and tower Shield being a must given how low our health stat typically is taking increased damage to deal increased damage when our damage output is already so high seems to risky at lower levels at least. My mind may change level 60+
I needed this badly
How do I get the burning pixie
This is really helpful!
Buy back back?
Nice guide
Agree with everything besides Satyr I’d strongly advise no one do that , you’ll be okay as most schools get their own heals and it costs way too much pips without a amulet
This game not for casauls, but only sweats?
i'm schooled in death so i'm do life cause whenever i play against death pve it's hard to beat
prisms
What mount is that lol
nA mOoN iS oP dUdE
Love this channel
Polymorphs are trash, but the shifting spells are really good for pvp
Didn't mention Conviction? It's really needed when fighting the cheating bosses and they like to Crit...
Your voice is really cute
SHIFT GREENOAK IS GOOD
Tower shield isn't that good for PVE, I disagree with you.
Especially if you're an elemental school. If you ARE an elemental school, then you have your schools 70% double shield, the 80% shield of your own school for free, as well as the double shields from death and life if you're training to Satyr and Feint.
Helloooooooo helloooooo formallll the goatttt
