My daughter was married to one. I warned her about him, but she did not listen.
After many years of watching, listening & enduring, I flew to the country they lived & chased him away.
I am a MHN & I saw my daughter’s & that of my grandchildren’s mental health deteriorate.

I can always say I am thankful to my for making me to God and I am Glad I got to know Him for myself. My mom didn’t give me gold or diamond, neither an inheritance of any kind. After all your advice it would be important to specify not to have unprotected sex. Being in a relationship also means knowing the status of your partner before getting intimate. Just because you're young and beautiful doesn't mean you don't have sexually transmitted diseases.
You shouldn't be lecturing you're 16 years old with this kind of thing, she would be too young to grasp this and you might be potentially making her be fearful of men. Instead teach her to focus on her studies and no boyfriend.
@@ay1ism This is one of the major problem with African education. We are afraid to tell our children certain truths, because we fear they will be traumatized... Which is quite the opposite. It is by educating them through such examples that they will be able to learn lessons for life. I benefited from this education from my parents at a younger age and can only thank them. It saved me from too many dangers..

I also advocate that anyone who intends to go into a relationship should study this word and understand how these people operate to save themselves from disaster. They are a sinking ship looking for who to drown along with them.
I feel it so much for her parents. My advice to young girls is; DO NOT ALLOW ANY MAN, whether FIANCÉ or HUSBAND to take your NAKED PHOTOS. You never know how the relationship will turn out down the line. I never allowed myself to be abused by anyone, especially lovers. Once a lady starts showing me attitudes, I'm on my way out of that relationship. No matter how attractive she is. I also don't take advantage of ladies who are infatuated with me. They'd say "I will give you money. I can help you with this or that" However, once I had made up my mind that I don't want to be in a relationship with you, I wouldn't accept whatever I was offered. Guys must understand that, as you treats someone's daughter - telling lies, abortions or physical abuses and all. That's the same way your own daughters will be treated when they too come of age. Whatever we sow shall we reap in life.

From when I was about 12, my mum would tell me over and over again "there nothing you will do, that will get you in trouble with me. If anyone tries to blackmail you, please tell me!" - she was worried about sexual predators on the internet. Today, at 32, this advice goes beyond sexual predators, it applies to everything! I don't know if knowing that her parents will stand by her no matter what would have made a difference, but for me it did, when I got duped of all my savings and wanted to unalive myself.
This is exactly what every child needs to hear. That they are loved no matter what.
She was blinded by fake love and fine boy things so she didn't use her intelligence, she had a good family support but she didn't have a strong heart and mind to fight to be happy and alive but still allowed that crazy guy manipulat her even from afar. This is sad.

I’m so broken, this girl died because her parents didn’t do enough to protect her at her most vulnerable moments. She was open to the mother and she didn’t arrest the situation at once.

That’s just the way to go. This girl’s father didn’t do enough. He was weak in handling this situation. he should’ve gone there and confront this man . I’m broken. The mother should’ve recorded her conversation with him and use it at once to indict him. A lady threatened my daughter in Canada and she had the guts to call me to explain how she was going to hurt and deny my child. I recorded as we were talking, immediately we ended the conversation, I delivered my proof to her and that ended it !!

We are at time of transition where there so much confusion and very difficult to navigate especially when you living at two different continent at the same time.
