As much as she sounds calm in the hospital and claims she doesn't disrespect her elders, i think i would rather see the video or live evidence of what happened that day because some women don't know how to control their mouth. Its hard to believe the man just did all that because she politely asked the man to pay for her bumper. When I was in the university, I met a guy who ‘ticked all my boxes’. We had only started to date for a few months when I witnessed him beat his sister (a 16yr old) with a belt in public because she had been seen by a friend of his in a nightclub. The rage I saw in his eyes that day sent me on my feet and I ran without looking back. The signs are always there, we just choose to ignore them.

If you're a corp member and something related to this happen to you, don't report to the police. Instead report to the army barracks in that state. They will deal with that man in such a way that he won't dream of trying it again. Corp members are paramilitary

Aside getting justice for this lady, all the police that were on duty who demanded for money should be identified, remanded and fired to serve as a deterrent. That was exactly what was done when Imole petitioned the police about certain people harassing him. The perpetrators should have been dismissed by now. My brother whose wedding was few months to 2023 had a phone argument with me,he came all the way from his house to beat me up, broke 2 of my fingers and all I got was “ you know he is hot tempered,just let it go for the sake of family name. The wife to be then noticed I wasn’t participating in the wedding preparations and asked me,I told her everything and she said “but I thought he said you are his favorite sibling “ I told her that his action too has left me in shock because I haven’t done anything thing to warrant such treatment. She apologized to me and asked that I attend the wedding for the sake of what her family will say if I don’t come,i told her to ask her fiancé to apologize to me,she told him and his response was that he can’t apologize to his younger ones. Since then we don’t communicate,when we meet at our moms house we act like we don’t know each other. His wife sees how he talks to my mother and feels sorry for her. I know she has a lot of things to say to me since one year she got married to my brother but she doesn’t have the gut to complain. Although my brother has never beaten her but she is not getting the right treatment. Hear my mum tell her that she should not try arguing or talking back at him if she wants to enjoy peace in her marriage. She tries to manipulate me by telling me to forgive my brother so that God will hear my prayers and so that he will stand as a father any day i am to get married. The truth is a lot of families are enable these bad behaviors we see in our society. I pray Deborah gets justice.

Thank you for bringing this story to the public and social media, to the wife that went ahead and married that man and not standing up for that Lady she should remember what goes around comes around, she will get hers, this is a sad story, in most African countries there is no such thing as calling 911 or emergency roadside service, most times after an accident both parties have to discuss repairs which is paid by the person that caused the accident, in country like Nigeria men treats women like second class citizens, it’s so sad that some women feel they must be married to feel whole and be respected in society, from what I see that wife might end up dead one day, because if he can treat a woman that he wrongfully hit her car God help that wife, and he lied that the lady had 4 others in her car, and that so called wife did not debunk his lies, they will get what is coming to them, to add insult to injury she had the nerve to go to the hospital to see the lady to tell her they are getting married?? The police force is so rotten and the pain is worse than cancer. The woman who got married to him is 100% not actually about love. @@Jaay2022, long story short/will try to be as brief as am able to. There’s a scope of young men who go prey on ladies on the social media platforms, ask them out on dates that for some reason they end up in Airbnb and that’s where they are brutally murdered.
Sadly in the 2 cases trending in the country so far, the victims are not well known to these men.
Apart from the fact that that man is evil, His mental health need to be examined.

14:49 this is true oh. My mom felt a certain way before a trip from Port Harcourt to a community in Bayelsa. There were other setbacks and she actually decided not to go but for some reason she went. Thankfully it was a missionary outreach, so I guess God had mercy. The car they entered somersaulted, fortunately nobody died but my mom has a pain in her neck/collar till today. When she came back and told me the story, I was so shocked, knowing that I could have easily been motherless. I've also had similar experiences and I know that there are times things happen that seem to be blocking you from something, I believe we should just sleep like Jesus did in the storm: don't make any sudden moves, just pause. It may be a setback and temptation or it could be a sign that the thing is bad or not meant to be. Ten minutes of waiting and observation could be the eye opener you need.

If it's in the US or any other country where laws work, find out where he works and he'll pay for this domestic violence. There's a zero tolerance policy when it comes to DV and you'll just need to make sure social media picks it up in whatever country he lives in. He'll most definitely lose his job and if there's need for him to be returned to Nigeria, an extradition request can be made. In fact if he's convicted of a crime, that's a ground to use in making sure he loses his citizenship or residency in most countries.

Possibly they met online and he only came home to marry her and she doesn’t want to back down because her friends and family will say it’s not enough reason to call it off maybe because he has said “sorry “ or how will they explain to the guests that she doesn’t want to continue with the wedding.
