Ripped off their customers. How can a company function by abandoning their customers? Greyhound should have immediately sent alternate forms of transportation.
My last experience with Greyhound was in 2005, and I found some of the drivers to be extremely rude and downright hostile. Not all, but at least two in particular were on real power trips, knowing that the traveler is pretty much stuck with Greyhound and its monopoly on ground transportation.
I last took Greyhound in 2017 and it was the worst trip of my life. I took a round trip from Syracuse NY to Raleigh NC. My luggage was stolen by Greyhound and had to go back from NY to Richmond VA to get my luggage and my laptop and Jordans was stolen from my luggage. I tried to file a complaint to declare my stolen items and NEVER heard from Greyhound. After my trip I looked up airlines flights and the flights was cheaper and alot faster. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TRAVEL ON GREYHOUND
I don’t know why people use greyhound, it’s cheaper and FASTER just to fly, even the top airlines are cheaper. When I last took a greyhound bus in 2012 it was filled with mostly bottom of the barrel passengers ngl.
It sounds like Greyhound is circling the drain. Their lack of concern and leaving people stranded and closing real bus terminals that provide restrooms and shelter is not a good sign of company health.
@@TomM2727 in the late 80s through the early 2000s, Laidlaw was contracted to operate the buses. Then in 2004 Laidlaw went out of business and FirstGroup bought Laidlaw's assets including Greyhound. FirstGroup started the trend of terrible Greyhound service in exchange for profits...however Greyhound stopped being profitable due to the horrible service, and thus they sold their assets to FlixBus. It seems that Flixbus is trying hammer the final nails in the coffin ...trying to bury what's left of Greyhound.
My son was stranded on his way back to College due to a bus breakdown. I ended up driving him to Hermiston to meet his first connection myself. A complaint to Greyhound resulted in a refund of his ticket...but without family nearby he would have been in this same situation.
Exactly! But because Greyhound ridership is largely people like myself who are poor or Working Poor and disabled, an unlike myself often people of color, we don't rate and we don't count. As was shown in the pandemic, our lives do not even matter, so why does our safety and our time?
It is hard to believe this is the same bus lines my late Grandma used to ride alone back in the early 70's. Greyhound was already on the decline during the early 2000's but when Greyhound was purchased by Flix Bus Inc it was the beginning of the end. Flix Bus has shut down the majority of Greyhounds physical buildings and placed their pickup & drop off locations in places like this Flying J. Even though a lot of the gas stations sell tickets for Greyhound not all of them are as welcoming as this Flying J in the video. To make matters worse a lot of these gas stations close during the night leaving stranded customers truly out on the street.
When I get done with them they will be I'm standing up for everyone involved I'm on one now when I get to where I'm going I'm making class action against them top priority. I need petition signers
Believe it or not people take greyhound to save money and travel as planned is expensive anyway then add on extra days and nights not to mention the job or plans they had going up in smoke...
Horrible my son was scammed by this company not giving a refund after sending message about delay bus left early and exchange ticket to wrong bus stop without telling correct address than there’s no phone number to reach them to resolve this issue, is anyone know phone number to complain about this no service to complain about this company ?
The Tampa, Fl bus station is under a bridge. No safety concern and an embarrassment for what our money paid for. SAFETY. Flix sucks. Cancelled out our bus 2xs in Ghetto Atlanta after already being there for 10 hours (bus 0105) to Tennessee. No cash refund just a Shi**y voucher to continue the use of their pathetic transportation method.
caught greyhound/flix last summer..it was an absolute nightmare!! buses were very late, one hadno air conditioning on a very hot day..another smelled like it was just sprayed with raid bug spray. then had a frustrated security guard who i said hello to, then kindly asked if i could go back on the bus because i forgot a small item..he yelled HURRY UP!!!!!! aND I AM NOT THE DUDE TO TAKE THAT FROM ANYONE..SO WE ALMOST HAD AN ALTERCATION, LOL. i would tell anyone ONLY book greyhound if there is nothing else available.
@@shaggybreeks And just like public transit (specifically the bus) in most of the US and Canada, no one takes it except for the poor and the desperate. It shouldn't be this way. Public transit is meant to be a better way to alleviate traffic.
IF GREYHOUND SAYS YOU HAVE TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITHOUT A SAME DAY REMEDY, YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN!l. What a disgrace! 😮 Prayers for all of you. 🙏

I can remember when Greyhound was a legitimate company. Sad.
1970's just imagine a city or county bus having this many accidents?? And greyhound can't keep it on the road with no traffic at 2am
It hasn't been greyhound for a good part of the last year. Greyhound was bought out by a German company, 'Flixbus'
It sounds like Greyhound is circling the drain. Their lack of concern and leaving people stranded and closing real bus terminals that provide restrooms and shelter is not a good sign of company health.
It's not Greyhound anymore, A German company called 'Flixbus' bought out Greyhound.

I hope a Church with a Church Bus can pick you all up & take you to the nearest Greyhound Station/Hub. KTVB: KEEP REPORTING UPDATES UNTIL RESOLVED.
Good work KTVB.
Greyhounds stranded people in Ontario, Oregon on Sunday 8/5/23 as well. No bus showed up.
If this were an airline it would be national news

Kudos to Flying J for your goodwill to these stranded passengers while lending a hand to feed them 😊❤
Stranded 3 days is a LAW SUIT 😮
I once was on a greyhound for 10 days horrible experience but it got me where i needed to go

Probably a lack of drivers is the cause.
Worse trip in my life. They left people behind, with their belongings still in the bus.Hate them.
We have one of our friends on that bus, if they are delayed again, we may have to drive from Seattle to get them.
For what I understand Greyhound got bought out by some Germans so good luck out there!
Yep, Greyhound's now parent company is Flixbus
Yeah they are a scam. Stay away from them. It's not like back in early days.
Greyhound simply doesn't care. They haven't been answering any calls from anyone. Don't ride with them at any cost.
I'd definitely be suing Greyhound❗
Good luck they have attorneys you can't touch
@@user-qs2ly9is9r Exactly. It's not even worth it.
This should become a law suit. All these people deserve at least $3,000.00 for this abuse.
Pathetic service. Greyhound needs to go out of business for good!!
That a disgrace. Public transportation has totally gone downhill.
I only use Greyhound for short distance. Not recommended long distance travel.
This also happened in the back of Hotel Parking Lots as temporary Greyhound stops.
If they were illegal immigrants this would never happen! Where those free hotels, food, water, etc..😊
Truth...😡
Greyhound service is horrible People are stranded by Greyhound, Greyhound should organized their buses, It’s not safe to laying on the ground
Truckers Unite (..on the Road Again) ✔️
Go greyhound 😂😂
Go Greyhound and leave the "stranding" to us! 🚌🚌
Did grey hound go bankrupt

Several years ago , more like 30, Greyhound filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and almost went into Chapter 7 liquidation.
They might as well, and go out of business.
I was on the bus that crashed dec 12 th 2022, I have injuries I'm still suffering from.
The owners are irresponsible, and had no regard for human life.
This company needs sued because of what they do to people
They will take your money but say we don't have no Drivers
Affirmative action killed greyhound

Not surprised
Four months later they r still waiting for the bus

This is what happens when Greyhound hires the wrong people.

Boycott Greyhound!
Some people have to get to where they're going and there is no alternative. That's the problem. Greyhound has no competition.
I already am going to who wants to sign the petition
