- In this video I am covering off how to combine multiple track files that you may find when grabbing PS1 games online. Combining the track files to make one .bin file will make it work on the PS Classic. Once again we are using CDmage to do the hard work for us.

Thank you so much for this! I was able to convert multiple tracks down to one and then convert those to PBP.
Thanks for tutorial , adding to that for any one who have a problem loading a .cue file with (Cannot open) error , make sure you checked the read only option when choosing it.

Great video - used it for some PS1 roms i downloaded for my Miyoo Mini Plus. Some of the ROMs have many audio BIN files, like MK Trilogy. Once 1 single BIN is created I need to then convert to .PBP for the device. This is inconsistent, some games work after this step some do not.

i used cdmage but some games dont play the audio tracks why?
if you are doing this now use the cdmage 1.02 version as the 1.01 does not let you save

what if the game doesnt have a cue?
You create it yourself using notepad. :)
search on google cue maker first site read closely and there you go
copy cue file from another game that has one. then paste into game folder with game that needs a cue file.
edit with notepad and swap the game file name.

You can use psxvcd to do the same v2.2 has PS Classic support.
At one point i was burning to CD-RW and ripping back to one cue bin (the long way of doing this lol.

@@TheGamesShed Please note that I have not tried this myself. A reddit user said "For Tekken 3 there was 3 bin files. I renamed the first track with the SLUS code, along with cue and png file and just left the other two bin files with their original names. This method seemed to work fine".

I am currently in CDmage, I’ve drug my cue file into the program, I see 2 tracks and I click above to highlight CD then go to FILE and there is no ability to save. I can’t do anything?

Okay so I downloaded Tonka Space Station (USA) from Emuparadise (couldn't rip my original disc) and it comes with 13 different tracks, all of which are .bin files. So I followed everything you did in CDMage and I got an iso larger than the first .bin file as expected. However, while it references the tracks in the cue file, they are nowhere to be found in the ISO when I open it in IsoBuster and predictably when I play the game in ePSXe, the music doesn't play. (it did, however, work just fine when I loaded the cue file before following this tutorial)
Can you help me out here?

Use the link for CDmage that he posted in the description. It's the Beta Version "CDmage1-02-1B5" which you need, this adds the missing "Save as" instead of "Save as boot" option

Most games come as a single Bin without any CUE files, of course that's because they are only one track. Do you actually need the CUE or can you just delete it?
Also, I wonder if there's a way to make multi disc games into one file. RE2 on N64 was on a single cartridge, so can RE2 on PS1 be converted into a single Bin file? Sometimes there's 4 disc games...

This was great however is there any way to hide the .bin file altogether so that my game list only shows the .cue titles although the .bin files are still technically there?

Hi. I have seen multi-disc games that have only one .bin file (Final Fantasy 7). Is it ok to merge multiple .bin files and get rid of the .cue file? Thanks in advance.

Click the link for ‘Cues and Sbis’. You will download an archive file that contains cue files for hundreds of games; just search through for the game you want and extract the cue file. Open the cue in notepad to check that the files are named the same as your .bin files so it all works correctly. The game version must be exactly the same ie. if your .bin files are europe, you must use a matching European .cue file
just wondering how you'd do this with say...all the command & conquer games since they have both allied/soviet or nod/gdi disc...would it be the same or no?
