Why that CDmage thing? ImgBurn is capable of creating .bin and .cue by itself. No need to convert from ISO to Bin.

Hi Mark,
When you rename the .bin & .cue files at the end, manually - surely that would change whats contained in the .cue file, if you open it with a text editor, it probably will have the original name in there still, so in theory that would stop it working, unless of course, it only requires the .bin file only to work.

Can you do a tutorial how to rip PS music tracks? I want to rip Tekken 3 music, but the files are in some weird format, like DA or BNS.

im sorry there is already emulator for ps1/2...you just need kinda powerful gpu and graphic card...

Hey so I tried to rip my Tekken 2 copy but ended up with 3 tracks (a TAO file and two PCM files), a BIN and a Disk Image File. When CDmage asks to select which file type, the option says much more than just "*.iso" so I just went with it and clicked open and continued directions. After everything, I ended up with the files I mentioned. Any help would so awesome!
EDIT: Nevermind, I tried playing it on eSPXe the way I always start a game up and it worked. I'm a little reluctant to delete the other files incase they are needed. Are they needed? The TAO and PCM?
i never tried this method,some ps1 games on my ps3 have issues with the music...maybe i'll be luck with your guide

@@TheGamesShed Fantastic! Meanwhile I found it but it is great that you changed it :) In the newest version it automatically created a .bin and .cue file, so I didn't need CDmage at all.
My PS Classic is on the way, ordered one today for just 40€.
Why cue and bin files? Why not leave them ISO files like PS2 games?
Hi thank you for the video. When using an existing iso for timedplitters2 there is no bin or cue file visible not sure how to proceed

Can you make a tutorial on how to get music to play properly? This has always been an issue for me, especially with Wipeout.
you can't just rename the files without changing the file name in the .cue files, it wont work correctly otherwise?
What do you do if the program won't do anything once you click the rip button and the timer starts and then also won't close without force closing in task manager and then you can't eject the disc either and the computer won't restart, you need to power cycle using the power button to then get the drive to eject? 😅
My PC uses exFAT instead of FAT32 when formatting my flash drive. Will this cause or be an issue? I would hate to brick my PS Classic before I get the chance to use it.

What if i have a game like final fantasy with 4 disks? Can i merge that to 1 .bin or do i have to create 4 .bin and load them on the emulator when asked?
what if you can't extract the image file as a cue? why does that happen?

Go ahead. The updates are gonna be out within the next week by the looks of things and they have said that they will make sure there is a transition from older versions to newer versions.
@@TheGamesShed I've Google searched ps1 roms, Iso's, bins and cues and can find nothing and nowhere to download them. And it's not just your video it's everyone's who is running the bleemsync or retropie mod. NO ONE says where to get the dang files. Lol. The games I want on mine are games I own. So I'm just backing them up technically. But what if the disk is scratched and doesn't read it right. Then I'm screwed. I need a source site. Even in a DM or RUclips message. Thanks!!!

Been trying all morning. Bought the classic yesterday. Got round to everything except when in come to atrually obtaining a bin and cue files. Just Stuck with iso s or zips. Thank you for your response
Josh Williams unzip the zip folders. You may find what you’re looking for in there 😏
Could always try the Public Internet Archives. But ultimately you need to have the Disk yourself. If you don't then its straight up piracy.

Oh really? Is it blocked on your ISP? Maybe try googling it?
I tried two different pcs, and two different ISPs and same thing, the cdmage worked fine, something on emuparadise I would say.

ohhh...you cant rename bin and cue files just like that. WHY? because in a cue file you u have a link with original named bin file!!! So some games will not play audio tracks after that! Never do it! Or rename it inside cue file too.
