It skips the ps2 and shows a ps3 controller in an early 2000s backdrop with a ps2 in the back? I get the ps3 used the same shell as the ps2 but the controller looked a lot different than the ps3 controller. That kinda triggers me 🤬

TV Remotes in Europe since 70s to accommodate Teletext, interactive media applications sent using terrestrial TV. The PS3 might also use them for additional buttons when using streaming apps such as Netflix.

Therefore, using Nintendo's design was not possible, and could have risked them being sued if it was regarded by them as too similar.

In terms of VR motion sickness, if you play enough, you'll usually get used to it and won't feel motion sick. But, moving in place can help sometimes. This is coming from someone who used to get motion sick but not really anymore
You can actually control games with the PS2 remote. This counts for any PS1 game and any PS2 game as long as the back of the box says “Digital Control” on the bottom, Analog Control games won’t work. It sounds insane but do give it a try, it’ll be a fun experiment.
It’s kinda cool how you were able to control the dvd’s with the controllers and discovering the remotes had the PlayStation buttons on it was really cool
I'd like to add to the PSVR bit- Some games just let you teleport instead of moving with the joystick, check the settings of the games to see if that exists. Not sure if it exists for the game you were talking about but still, it exists for most days.
For various reasons, I've stopped buying Sony consoles and Sony games, BUT the one thing I can never shake is using a DualShock for my PC gaming. Joycons drift. My Gamecube Switch Pro Controller has an off-center octagonal gate and the c-stick's sensor gets "stuck" reading downwards. Xbox controllers are all right, but I never liked the ergonomics. But Sony still to this day makes the best damn controllers on the planet. My nearly-8-year-old DS4 still has rigid af sticks with zero drifting or deadzone issues after years of heavy usage, and the only reason I replaced the thing was because the membrane behind the face buttons began to finally wear down to the point of feeling mushy and the face buttons were literally starting to wear away and dissolve from all the abuse. Just bought a new DS4, and I expect it'll last me another 8 whole years. Top-notch controllers.

Looking at the Duelsense Edge, I think it is less about ‘pro’ and more about accessibility. The customizable trigger depths, replaceable joysticks, and the bottom buttons all are ways to help those with mobility issues with their hands. My wife uses a Switch controller with bottom buttons because it helps her arthritis.
There’s a couple ways to deal with VR motion sickness. Like standing up and walking in place whenever you move OM game. Or use snap turning. Other than that I think it’s just a matter of playing VR more you eventually build up your legs and can stay in for longer periods of time!
Awesome video! Btw you forget the "new" dual shock 4. The physical difference is basically just a lighstrip on the touchpad. But it has slightly better batteries, and analog rubbers that won't just crumble after a while like on the original ds4. There's no reason to get the original ds4 after the v2 came out.

What makes the Wiimote better than the PS Move, is that you don’t need a sensor bar. You just need something that emits IR light (like candles). I know from experience when moving the Wii storage to my Wii U. Basically, the remote hooked to Wii U worked when the sensor was hooked up with Wii.

Sure, the quiz game for the buzz was mid, but buzz junior were dope as hell. I own all of 'em bar one, and they used to be really fun. Haven't played recently due to them not working anymore, but still really fun, from what I remember.
as a kid i used to play buzz games with my siblings and mom a lot lmao. also! they werent just used for the quiz games! there were party games that centered around that controller. oh and also i loved the eye toy. they had it at this place we went after school.
We had an eye toy when I was a kid and it took us years to get and own a game that used it and it was just to put real life photos on the walls of the sims 2. It made 12 year old me laugh a bunch.

Personally, I like the Playstation style dpad more than Nintendo's. The separation makes it easier to press down on a single direction, making navigating menus really easy and satisfying. Plus, the segments are close enough together that diagonal movement is still a breeze.
I disagree about the Playstation-style D-Pad feeling inferior. If you play fighting games with it, sure, but if you are playing games where you don't want to hit diagonals accidentally, it is far superior. Not perfect mind you, but in the games I play, I'm far happier with a DS4 D-Pad than say the Switch Pro Controller, or any Xbox controller, specifically because the buttons are separate and distinct.
Tbf Ps2 singstar mic togheter with the USB adapter was a pretty good PC mic if you didnt have an mic. (Yes it worked on a pc and had a pretty good sound compared too that time)
My friend and I have very similar DVD players yet our remotes have different button lables for what the buttons do that say like Netflix or Hulu or whatever and I tested it and they both work on each other's DVD players. Also yes I use the word DVD player when obviously I mean Blu-ray. That's how you can tell I'm an older person. Also I'm still calling you a DVD player even if it doesn't have DVD functionality like a Roku.

While I don't personally own a duelsense edge, it pretty much just seems like xbox's elite controllers. Obviously not for everyone, but some games are much easier when you can hit the face button while still moving the camera - hence the back buttons. It comes a little closer to how much you can control at once as mouse/keyboard, which helps when a lot of games still don't allow them. I honestly don't think I could have completed Doom Eternal without it.
There pretty good for DVD/Blu rays (I find the Touchpad on the Dualshock 4 to be more fun to swipe though for how unused it is in many games but those that do use it it's pretty alright two halves like Nier Automata's inventory and menu or swipes like GalGun boss fights or Killzone Shadowfall's drone. But can work alright for games (at least if your Stop Skeletons From Fighting that used them in some.games)

The PS3 TV remote was made with PSTV in mind, it was a little box that plugged into your PS3 and could be used as a freeview box. I had one and it was decent. Rumble was missing from the Sixaxis controller because of a pending lawsuit.
Same I maybe now a nintendo fan boy but I admit I really enjoy my ps2/3 era while not getting their icons it give me the fundenmentals to enjoy and love gaming
also the dualsense controller's haptic feedback is most likely accomplished using speakers; i once put my ear near my controller while selecting menus of genshin impact's archive and i heard the sound of turning a page, the same sound heard through the console's audio output device

The dual sense edge is the most solid controller I’ve ever held. And the easy replaceable sticks needs to be on more controllers.

There was definitely other Buzz games. Also there was sets of Buzz remotes that had non coloured in buttons, They had coloured rectangles instead

It comes a little closer to how much you can control at once as mouse/keyboard, which helps when a lot of games still don't allow them. I honestly don't think I could have completed Doom Eternal without it.

There pretty good for DVD/Blu rays (I find the Touchpad on the Dualshock 4 to be more fun to swipe though for how unused it is in many games but those that do use it it's pretty alright two halves like Nier Automata's inventory and menu or swipes like GalGun boss fights or Killzone Shadowfall's drone.
But can work alright for games (at least if your Stop Skeletons From Fighting that used them in some.games)

This isn't a vr hardware issue as it is normal for people to get motion sick in vr it just takes time to adjust

The PS3 TV remote was made with PSTV in mind, it was a little box that plugged into your PS3 and could be used as a freeview box. I had one and it was decent.
Rumble was missing from the Sixaxis controller because of a pending lawsuit.

Same I maybe now a nintendo fan boy but I admit I really enjoy my ps2/3 era while not getting their icons it give me the fundenmentals to enjoy and love gaming

also the dualsense controller's haptic feedback is most likely accomplished using speakers; i once put my ear near my controller while selecting menus of genshin impact's archive and i heard the sound of turning a page, the same sound heard through the console's audio output device
I still don't know why the analog button exists on a analog controller like that's the point of getting a analog controller
mega man x1-x8 use circle for dashing, i get that with ds4 bcoz its small enough but with DualSense i remap dash to L1 on XLC

3:19 the buzz controllers can be used for an other game called buzz junior: jungle party and yes the Narrator is a jackass she can be a cheerleader or a bully it is one of the ps2 games I play to this day but it has not aged well
