The reason I always root for optic isn't just because they are good, it's because they just seem to have a way better character of teams and are much more pleasant to watch. Both renegade and frosty always come off as really "toxic" to me, for the lack of a better word.

More than likely, you have that impression based on one or two clips that you saw of them either teabagging or giving their opinion on something. I still can’t believe optic won despite playing so sloppy. It’s like they were playing at 70%. Shoulda won 4-1/2 if they didn’t troll 1st map and get unlucky with rockets in KOTH. Formal and Trippy were severely inconsistent at times and getting smoked and Lucid wasn’t close to his best. Faze overall kd was 1.11 while optic was 1.05. It’s insanely impressive optic’s composure and resilience. They will always make games close even if they are getting fried or losing power weapons.

Also things like tossing the sniper of the map, even if it means turning your back for a second. Renegade, everyone loves his aggro play style but how many times does he deliver the sniper to the enemy squad. He will do it after getting like 2 insane kills but then like delivers 4-6 bullets to the enemy team and gets praised for it..

I'd literally pay a monthly subscription if they did this and so would many other people. It literally makes no sense why they keep producing games when they have 2 perfect competitive titles to work with that they could continue to build off of.
Only reason Optic looked sloppy is because they had to deal with massive slaying power from Faze which puts a lot of holes in their game plan and had to make them get creative to win , I mean that streets hill reset 3 optic members goosed and the slays was like 28 faze and 3 optic with 2 hills captured , faze is first team to roll optic that hard on the main stage , it was embarrassing
