@@raspone8027 true, think end of ghosts for coL made them worse but statistically Complexity had better series record but trophies and longevity, OpTic is head and shoulders above everyone else
I hate this argument they won like 20 championships, and were the best team for 3 seasons. If champs was at the end of the year like its nowadays and it was their last year together they would have won 3 rings and it would be undiputed.
BO3 really was the peak for comp cod. The gameplay was incredible, specialists added a second dimension. Ban and protect made the meta constantly change and made pros think on their feet, the casters had real personalities and passion, the CWL production was spot on, the storylines were better than ever, GB’s we’re thriving, league play was good. Bro you see slasher is almost in all those finals. I’m so glad I got to see all of this history through the years. It was amazing. The dynasty is the best cod team that ever existed
I noticed an editing mistake; just wanted to highlight it in case you gentlemen feel inspired to make the correction, re-export, and re-upload the 90-minute video 😂 Around 42:36 there's a second layer of audio that starts playing on top of the intended gameplay and commentary - it's a postgame interview with Clayster from earlier in the video. Easy thing to miss in editing. Fantastic video! I'm glad we have people like y'all to help document and keep the rich history of competitive COD alive ❤
@@shafialanower3820 different game, different time, different team. Kenny's nasty but can he be what Damon was to the dynasty? That mixed with the other boys keeping up even if Kenny stays gross
to even compare the new optic team with the old one is a disgrace. all 4 old playeres were champs and super talented. the new team is nowhere near that. they might be the third our fourth best team in the cdl.
Absolutely brilliant, tacticalrab did a fantastic job as always, amazing to relive this story, the golden age of cod (imo, not even an optic fan still)
Fantastic job on this! I wasn't in to competitive COD till that last year of the Dynasty. I've gone back and watched all the older years, but seeing it done as a movie/documentary, was awesome.
The way Dashy was for them this year to win this championship ring is very reminiscent of Karma that year and his clutch factor. You just knew in every big moment this year Dashy was getting that 1vx
there was nothing like coming home from school watching the streams on mlg playing clan wars on AW and watching tournaments every weekend absolute peak life
Can you do a video/documentary on the black ops 3 competitive scene? It was so unique with its bans/keeps system and 30+ team tournament formats. I feel for those who haven’t experienced it live bc it really was goated for competitive COD
Damon is hands down the mvp, he saved them from so many close calls and put the team on his back and won so many uneven match ups. He was always the last one alive and seemed like the sturdiest member of the team. Mad respect for this man he was the hardest one of them all.
It still blows my mind that we got to play these titles from 2015-2017. Truly sad how many steps Call of Duty has taken backwards since. We’ll get back to where we’re supposed to be someday💔
And this was so well made. Props to whoever spent all the time to not only get all this VOD but to put it in chronological order & edit it too. You are the real MVP.
The great thing about this team though was not only and dynasty was that all of them were winning and grinding out content too. Not only that the winnings and money was a fraction it was now so they had to make the content but bc of that I think it helped a lot of us feel like we knew them more and want to watch them more. For me though I found their content during a time I was struggling mentally and their content was a huge part of what kept me positive and also helped me find a community that I could really be a part of. They are so much more than a COD dynasty to a lot of us!❤❤❤
6:25 I miss this Scumpii. He was so much more humble and down to earth then. Thats crazy to say because we thought he had a huge head 10 years ago. Bring him back Seth.
AW is one of the best Call of Duty’s of all time… Not only was it one of the best COD’s to watch competitively, but the skill gap in this game was so high. Watching events was SO MUCH fun.
CWL Dallas 2017 Final Map is my fav moment watching OpTic at any event. Karma single handedly ended the tournament. Just an unbelievably goated shut down.
So good! Advice: When doing these longer documentaries, maybe put up a small text box at the top or bottom saying what game/year is being played. For the noobs that may forget while watching, AW/BO3/IW can all look a bit similar and even I had to check myself a couple of times to remember what game I was watching. Other than that, expertly done! Right and proper recap of this dynasty. GGs Rab and company!!!
I hated how nade was the scapegoat. If anything, he was the GOAT, not in terms of skills or wins, but growing COD like nobody else. I bet, if he stayed on optic, they would have had the same success that next year
I don't think there ever be dynasties such as Complexity or OpTic Gaming. With the way the Call of Duty League is right now, it'll be so hard to find a consistent dynasty like OpTic or Complexity.
Basically what an unhealthy lifestyle does to you. karma is still young. he needs to start eating clean and hit the gym maybe. i mean scump started eating healthy and he looks so much better.
@shoopSAUCE it was clearly an exaggeration, but the fact still stands that the difference in appearance is shocking, I'm jit trolling or trying to provoke people, it's just facts and sad to see, I'm not gay but Damon was a good looking kid back then now he looks ill, i don't know what's contributed to damons glowdown but he's certainly had one that's for sure, all love just shocked he looks so different compared to then
I'm so glad I grew up in/watching this era of COD!
Same
just the 2ks alone were miles better than anything today. what a shame we used to have tournies every other week smh
CDL has ruined comp CoD and it doesn’t help either that the games they have put out since MW2019 are garbage
Facts bro advanced warfare and bo3 I was proper comp player
One hell of a documentary. Whether you’re part of the green wall or not it’s an absolute must watch!!
