- The last NA online tournament of the year saw some amazing upsets! Teams fought to earn their pool placements for the next HCS Major in Orlando next month. G1 surprised everyone by making it to the grand finals to face OpTic!

Watching Bubu make a comeback like this after getting dropped from FaZe felt so damn good. Even as an Optic fan I found myself rooting for G1.
Final moments are awesome. Halo esports can be so incredibly. I really hope it continues to grow.
Fun tournament to watch from start to finish
Trippy and APG had some super clutch plays this tournament.
This was a fantastic series with an amazing final round. Side note, very cool thumbnail 👌🏽
To me, Trippy was the MVP for Optic this time around, he made some incredible plays throughout the tournament, he survived a ton of times when he should've died, he kept his cool in the most uncomfortable moments for his team, etc.
P.s.: If this is already hella' entertaining, I can't wait to see what these players will do once we get additions to the sandbox as well as more maps and modes; the game might be very flawed in many areas (e.g. the store's prices, desync still being awful, customization still being pretty limited, etc.) but the gameplay itself is almost flawless.
Optic won the tourny, but G1 won our hearts with their incredible journey to the finals as the underdogs!
I just don’t understand how anyone saw those guys as underdogs, watched a lot of their scrims and they were filthy…. Never looked like underdogs to me

Such a great series. Super impressed with G1. Congrats to them for defeating the rest of the field including C9. My boys on Optic lead by the best player in the Game Lucid deserve the crown.
lucid is only good with a team like optic so this comment is irrelevant
@@Zefrone Lucid has the best shot in the league but there are others with better timing/awareness/strategy. So yeah his teammates are uniquely important for him, but the man has a disgusting shot.
I think the big mistake in that CTF match was C9 not IMMEDIATELY picking up the flag sprinting over to the goal because they had the time to do so even while being shot at

OPTIC is on another level there is no other team that hits more almost perfect 3 shot kills and have perfect set ups that cover all angles on every map

i always felt jesse could play halo. he just needs a certain team for his plays to work even against the top teams

Ummm. It's a VOD of an online tournament. Live it was pulling 70k viewers. That's record breaking for an online tournament
you have to remember its a variety of streams. theres twitch and this.
if youtube can get 1k viewers, twitch got like 17k viewers.

i was like, damn! theres only 700 viewers during live on yt furing the kansas grand finals and then i read a comment saying: “halo esports is dying” and some guy replied that twitch had like almost 9,000-15,000 viewers during live. i don’t understand it too lol
