Kid Fury is welcome to play at my table any time he wants. That man (boy?) has the right attitude. "Fit Him For A Wooden Overcoat" is the best ability name I've heard in ages, and entirely period-appropriate for the 1940s.
Silver Bullet had me shouting "button" by the end of the vid every time he went silent. You really robbed him in that last turn in the Red zone though, his Inherent abilities work just fine with Action or even Reaction abilities if the situation allows it. Any ability that includes an Attack is an Attack action, not just basic ones. Some of the nastiest hero builds I've seen combine several inherent effects with a Red ability for incredible action efficiency.
Great twist there. Did not see that coming.
Thanks for the tip!
I appreciate the rules tip. Other than that are we getting the system right?
@@RollingWithAdvantage Mostly, although I did notice a few. I'm Chief Lackey Rich over on the GTG forum - would you rather me point out any flubs there where it's a little more private, or here where other listeners can see it?
Hey thanks! I played Kid Fury. I haven’t had this much fun playing ttrpgs in a long while. Trevor always kills it DMing and Sentinels is such a fun system. I’m glad you’re enjoying it. Feel free to also hit us up on Trevor’s Discord any time!
@@richmcgee434 sounds good
Awesome twist at the end!
I thought you would like that one!
Second that. Did not see that coming. I had to rewind to make sure I'd heard it right the first time.
And hey, remember that Percival is still angry with Kid Fury about how impetuous he was earlier outside the castle. There's a story twist that could come back to haunt him next time they show up in the same scene, eh?
Out of curiosity, are you guys using Roll20 or Foundry?
Roll20 currently
What are you using to show the character sheets and rolls in Roll 20?
How do you prep a super hero homebrew when you have all those characters with pretty extreme abilities? This example was easy as it was essentially one big combat, but what about running a full campaign? I had similar issues when running Mage the Ascension back in the days.
