The more I binge y'all's games the more I wish y'all attempted Hot Springs Island or Maze of the Blue Medusa. regardless thank you for the content. Your getting my through some HOT work weeks.

Im trying out a half high elf(for booming blade) swashbuckler drunken master multiclass with elven accuracy. I have dex at 20 wis at 16 and cha at 12. Even just a +1 boost to inititative is good. With unarmoured def and movement im sitting at 18 ac and 40 movement. My question is how would you give a set up like this more damage?

I'd love to play a Hobgoblin, but I'd want to be able to fight (possibly dual) and cast magic. Hopefully something that my bonus in Fortune from the Many and Fey Gift won't go to waste. But I'm not sure what class to take that will enable me to get in there and fight. I would like to fight up close and with some range spells in there to. Magic wise I'm liking Fire Bolt, Fog Cloud, Disguise Self, Levitate, and Vampiric Touch. I wonder if there is a spell that you can place on your weapon for combat? Like during combat or just before you cast a temporary spell of poison, fire or whatever on your weapon.

im doing a crit fishing half orc fighter barbarian quarterstaff dueling build right now and am about to hit 6th level fighter and get crusher so im excited to see how it goes.

I'm loving this subclass I think I'm going to play it in a spelljammer campaign. I'm curious though how does he hold the stary map hold a shield and still have a hand free to cast spells?

A firbolg bumpkin who moonlights as a crime fighting paladin using disguise self.

Prefer the battle master subclass, as it combines pushing attack and crusher to send enemies into the air causing fall damage and knocking prone.

Hill giant rune gives you bear totem resistance for same amount of time, barbarian multiclass is not as useful

Just created a Divine Soul turtle sorcerer. Used the rules from MOTM so I put his bonuses in Charisma and Constitution. Haven’t played him yet, but should be interesting

How has he got proficiency in martial weapons to use a two handed sword?

I'm currently playing a lvl. 6 Loxodon OAG Paladin. I took the Shield Master Feat instead of an ASI, and I'm using the Interception fighting style to mitigate damage to my party. He's been pretty fun to play. Also, the temp hit points from the channel divinity smite have come in clutch a couple times so far.

Enjoyed watching this a lot! is it a normal thing to use one token for all characters of one player combined?

I took the lucky feat at 4th level and swing my greatsword with my eyes closed. I roll with disadvantage, then I feel lucky. I turn disadvantage into super advantage. 15% chance to crit, but I can do it 3 times, so almost a 50% chance of critting on my first 3 attacks. Edit: the first time I used this the DM made me roll super disadvantage, so I got to pick the best out of 4 d20.

Got a tabaxi way of open hand for first campaign. He is doing well. Fighting devils. Great synergy. Used dex instead of strength for claws, has been great. Now one of the scouts for party with the ranger

Conan *did* wear armor. In the short stories and novels, if it was available, he wore it. He was't an idiot. Even in the movie, at the battle in the cemetery, he was wearing armor. For a paladin's sense evil, I'd think it would be tied to how powerful an evil it is. An evil deity would be sensed at a far greated distance than, say an evil goblin.

We’re just about to play Icewind Dale, late to the party - I know. I’m heartened to see that my character choice was your first pick too - I’m playing the Goliath Barbarian, will pick Path of Totem. We have an elven Druid, will go circle of the moon, a Dragonborn Sorcerer, a Paladin who is destined to swear Vengeance and a Polearm Master plus a Cleric, who has yet to reveal their domain- I’m picking Forge.

Hello there. I recently was asked to play in a friend's D&D game. Having never played 5e before, I was unsure of what race to take. My last experiences with D&D being the old 3.0 edition as both a player and DM. My friend offered to let me play a Leonin character. So, I created an account on the D&D Beyond server and rolled up one. Since I was not the only new player to 5e, we ran the Dragons of Shipwreck Isle module. My character was a Female Leonin Fighter, who had been trained as a mercenary before going off to adventure on her own. I equipped her with full plate armor, a shield, and a long sword. I also told the DM in private that she was trained to be in the Vanguard of the mercenary 'army'. A position that meant she was trained to be in the center of things, holding back enemies to allow her compatriots to work from range to aid in taking down foes. The party consisted of my Fighter, a Dragonborn Paladin, a Minotaur Cleric, a Halfling Rogue, a Tabaxi Artificer, and an Elven Ranger. So, a party of six. The Minotaur had chainmail and a hammer, the Paladin had Plate Armor and dual wielded axes. So, we had a 'front line' force. The Ranger, Rogue, and Artificer made up our 'back line' support. On the shipwreck of the Compass Rose, after clearing the ship below decks, we returned above to confront two Harpies. They both landed on the railing of the foredeck above the main deck where we exited the hold. My character was third in initiative, and both the Rogue and Artificer were able to use ranged attacks before it was my turn. During my turn, I moved my full 35 feet of movement to go up the stairs and successfully vaulted the railing to put myself between the Harpies and 5 feet behind them. I then used my Roar upon them before attacking the wounded one with my sword. Both Harpies failed their save against Fear and froze in place, allowing me to hit with advantage, the wounded one fairly easily. I did enough damage to kill it outright before the others in the party could get in their own attacks. Due to causing Fear, the harpy that was left was an easy target for the Cleric, Paladin, and Ranger. All of which used ranged attacks. The Ranger using her Hunter's Mark to do enough damage to finish off the creature, who had been wounded by the Cleric and Paladin's arrows. Upon returning to the temple area, we were quick to come to the aid of several kobolds fleeing a half dozen zombies. My character bulldozing them aside to plant herself squarely before them and between the zombies and the fleeing kobolds. Several rounds of combat later, all the zombies were defeated, mostly hacked to pieces and the pieces scattered to the sands below the cliff. While the rest went up to the temple, my character returned to the beach, gathered the zombie parts, built a pyre out of driftwood, and burned them to make damned sure they didn't come back (previous history in the mercenary force of dealing with undead of several sorts led her to revile the un-living). Later, at the Hot Springs area, my Fighter again put herself in front of the others, mostly forcing the majority of the half dozen Drakes to focus upon her, and her AC 20, Which, for the most part, they failed to penetrate to do any damage at all. The Cleric moved up to assist me, and so did the Dragonborn. Again, the others mostly peppered the Drakes with arrows from afar, while we held the enemy in place, and destroyed them. Personal note: exploding Drakes are NOT fun! Thanks to the Ancestors that the Hot Springs were a place of Healing. Between that and a short rest, I recovered all HP lost in combat. Later on, yet again, dealing with the Seagrown Caves area, my character again put herself in the front, along with the Dragonborn, and held the Guardian Octopus' attention while the rest of the party whittled it down to where I could land the final strike. Further into the caves, after dealing with more Drakes, we confronted the Crystals and the sulfurous smoke issue by having the Dragonborn and the Cleric move the Yellow Crystal, unblocking the vent and allowing the air to clear. Moving it though, caused the crystal to break, and release the egg within, which in turn hatched out a newborn Elemental Fire Snake. My character basically ordered the dragonborn to capture it, and the Rogue had the language to speak to it. So, we were able to calm it enough to feed it several Iron Rations, the remains of the egg that I did not collect, and even some of the Yellow Crystal shards as well. The upshot of the encounter was a 'pet' for the party. The Rogue began to teach us enough words to command the Snake for most actions in a basic set of mnemonics manner, while the dragonborn carried it along with us. Returning to the Temple, the Artificer and one of the Kobolds was able to convert the shards of egg and crystals into a set of Molten Bronze Skin, which my Fighter took to wear, storing her 'normal' Plate armor. This new armor gave my Leonin both Fire Resistance, and did away with the dis-advantage to Stealth and Dex rolls. Well worth the burns she had gotten fighting the drakes in the caves, and the hot springs. The new armor also allows my Fighter to carry the Elemental Snake as well, with little, to no damage to myself. At least until the snake can learn to moderate its heat output to make it safer to transport. For 3rd level, my Fighter will be taking Battle Master, when we get together again to play out the rest of the adventure. Gaining a +1 Sword, and the new Armor, was well worth the wounds and burns gotten to gain them. As for my Leonin? I am quite pleased with her, and look forwards to further adventures using her. Oh, and BTW: Second Wind, and Action Surge are very good abilities for a Fighter character. Battle Master should further that nicely. Eventually, probably somewhere around 5th or 6th level, I plan to dip into Barbarian class for 3 levels and return to the Fighter track. Although, having seen your video, I might just go Barbarian after hitting 6th level Fighter, and go with that whole 'Spirits of the Ancestors' thing as a Barbarian-Fighter character. Eh, six of one, half a dozen of the other, both tracks would make for a good character.

My character I'm doing for a campaign that has Lost Mine of Phandelver as it's first story is a female Tabaxi Gloomstalker Ranger who is a treasure hunter. Yeah my character concept is Lara Croft if she was a catgirl.

what's the magic item that gives him a 19 charisma?

The Ranger has an ability you didn't mention that really adds a lot of damage to otherworldly enemies, combined with the weapon mastery options the ranger can easily become a high damage dealer.

I would build a Leonin “Rune Knight” fighter. However, I’d use the “Rune Carver” background from “Glory of the Giants” for thematic purposes. Imagine a Leonin character that not only has the strength of a giant, but also the magic of a giant.
