Thanks for spending the extra time on the bass parts. It’s always tripped me up!
Thank you so much for this, and thank you for doing the whole song!
Many thanks for the great tutorial! Really appreciate the commentary. Detached for left hand and staccato for the right!? Well done!! I'll try. Oh, I second the request for Queen!
Why the heck don't you have more views and subs. Love the tutorials.
It's a pretty new channel, but marching on close to 20k! Thanks!!
Please stick it through!!!! You have an amazing production quality! And your teaching style and personality are what keeps me watching!
Thanks!! I'm not going anywhere. Channel is growing and I'm having fun. Appreciate your viewership :)
Thank you, Pierre!!
Excellent video! Thanks.
Thank you !
I wanna permition for download your video, for learning...tks good lessons.. best regards from Indonesia 😊
Great tutorial. Would love to learn the vocals on the right hand with the bass :)
That's hard, actually. The counterpoint really has to be worked out slowly! If you can read, it's best to do it visually in my opinion.
AAH! Brings back fond memories of when i was a lot younger. A classic like so many of Michael’s songs. Is there any way you can do some BeeGee’s? I need to relive even my younger days, LOL.
Love the BeeGees-- in time, yes… there are so many videos that I want to make!!
Thank you. This can be added my singing, cool.
Wow! I had never figured out that it could be played on piano so close to the original version. Thanks!
You can do anything on the piano :)
As usual ..great tutorial. Any chance you could do tutorial on Bowie’s Life on Mars …lovely song.
It is absolutely on my list!
Hi Pierre... actually quite awesome what you do... helping us learn these very cool songs.... thank you!
It is my pleasure-- thanks for watching!
Excellent tutorial! I’m really enjoying and learning from your tutorials. I find them to be accurate, well paced, and easy to follow. If you have the time, can you do a tutorial on The Load Out / Stay by Jackson Browne? It was a huge hit in 1978 yet there are no good tutorials anywhere on this great song.
Great song, I'll add it to my list. Thank for watching!
Please, do some Queen!
oh, it's coming!
Superb lesson cheers
great channel! I love to see, how other pianists are working on great songs... I did "Billie Jean" & "The Girl is mine" as well...maybe you find it inspiring?
Thanks! I love your channel too!! I will check out those videos.
Original bass line doesn't play the same pattern on the Bm as on the F#m. The fifth 8th-note is removed.
Yes the key is F#m, as can be seen here on the video by Anthony Marinelli: ruclips.net/video/zKzcR0sUvV0/видео.html
Best wishes.
Thanks. On the produced track, that was certainly the right choice! But for practical purposes, especially as a solo piano piece, dropping out completely in the middle of the bar will be pretty jarring. For simplicity’s sake, I prefer keeping the bass line going for the whole bar. Love Marinelli’s videos, thanks for sharing!
@@pierrejpiscitelli thx to you, you made me pay more attention to this song's arrangement.
