    What an emotional and thought provoking tune. Synchronicity is my most favorite Police album. I love the sound of the brooding contra bass against the snap of the snare drum. Great choice!!!!!!
    Consider the Sting song "Seven Days".

    It's funny that the recording is in Ab but they play it live in A. Probably Andy summers played in A with the guitar tuned 1/2 sep below. Much easier

      Exactly. Recording is Ab just ever so slightly sharp probably due to tape speed.

      Absolutely. Much easier on the piano than on the guitar!

      Sting essentially wrote the song with straight power chords, but Andy Summers found it boring and stacked the fifths to make it more interesting.
