Preach! I can't think of any horns section that has made this big of an impact on me since the Marvel Vs Capcom 2 soundtrack, absolutely Killer! Also, if anyone knows of more good horns sections in other bands I need to be initiated.
True, but I just went to Atlanta with my family and friends to see this for real. Money well spent and it’s because I discovered them on RUclips. It was THE MOST FUN concert I’ve ever been to.
Cory Wong and The Wongnotes are THE BEST band on this planet‼️ The music, precision and sheer joy on their faces is out of this world. I LOVE THIS BAND! PHENOMENAL‼️ ♥️♥️♥️🎸🎸🎷🎺🥁🎹🎶
ITS A THING !!! I have too many basses ... i usually play 2 i have too many guitars ... i only play them at home i have too many keyboards ... i only play them drunk at home i have a banjo ... i learned 2 songs on it and "intend" to return also theres a thing that the more people you have to get to help you unload the truck the less you feel bad

WHAT A BAND !!!! « Bennie and the jets »…just the best cover I’ve ever heard!! The Hornz are just amazing… Sonny is just one of the greatest bass player of all time…Prince knew it. And what a drummer…INCREDIBLE. So Happy to be at the OLYMPIA in Paris, France in october 2023 🙏🏼🇫🇷 Thanx CORRY to give us So much joy and happiness 🙏🏼
The amount of talent on this state is staggering. I could have never imagined how brilliant Cory’s career could have went over the past 3 years. He is on a an absolute tear, and probably the most prolific creator of the culf family at this point, maybe with exception to Jack
Figured I would watch a little of this while eating breakfast on my day off. I ended up watching the whole thing! The musicianship, the mix, and the energy are STELLAR! Never thought that a 1 camera concert shoot could be so engaging 😮
I gotta say, the light show coming thru, but not being blinding, from that angle, really helps. And the camera's slow movement around the front kept it lively... nice job
@@gregcavanaugh6259 Riffwise the more obvious choice, you are right - but I think PoL would work too, and be a little more subtle. But I may be wrong, have to go and listen again!
Cory, I’m your biggest fan (one of many I’m sure)…could I make a staging suggestion? From my purely subjective point of view, the fact that the horn section is behind your cases of spare guitars is for me really unpleasant. It seems like their place in the show and their value to the visual and auditory experience is not being respected - For me, these geniuses of music should be right up front with no barrier between them and the audience. Petar is rightfully up close and personal-not stuck in the back like many drummers - the amazing horns should not be stuck behind road cases either. Aesthetically and energetically, this, I feel, is a real oversight. And not to belabor the point, I feel the same about Sonny T (bass man-god). He can be in the same place, but can we find somewhere else for all the spares and little used instruments? Love to hear what others think. Cory your music is so inspired and joyfully infectious I just hope this suggestion notches it up just a bit more. (and I’m sure there might be other consideration that I’m not aware off.)
Sonny is so good! and I gotta say his gear is great, that Warwick and Markbass make a good combo, that's why I use those too! Also, Sonny's bass solo on the track Over the Mountain is one of the finest bass solos I have ever heard in my entire life.
@@markbass354 yeah! Sunny is specifically playing a Warwick Dolphin. I am 99% sure his was custom made, but you can find one! I looked at a few on eBay a while ago. Go for it! I have a Warwick Corvette, it’s not as cool as the Dolphin, but it still rocks.
Robbie Wulfsohn is an amazing Singer! Ripe is also awesome. Then you combine Cory Wong (and the band) with Robbie , this is just amazing. Please Corey , could you take Ripe with you here to Europe waiting for you at Paris October.
Holy shit, man! You guys are just SO TIGHT. I agree with the comment from Matthew Reed about best horn section since TOP. Whoever does your videos is always great with captures. And as always the mix is spot on. Every time I watch/listen to one of your vids I can't stop smiling. Thanks for that.
I can't believe I missed the Wongnotes show in Seattle :( I am very sad about that. Sonny is an amazing bass player, and he and I both rock the Warwick and Markbass gear :) so good! keep the beautiful music and good vibes flowing ya'll!
Wish I could have been there. But I had my daughters that night. Cory, I really loved getting to learn from you and watch you play at the G4 Experience. Thank you.
Awesome players!!! I just became aware……..definitely getting tickets for Boston. Hope the sound engineering team is on their game to deliver the best mix.
They just gave me a Depends ad, and I didn't skip it... figured it was an appropriate product for the band to be sponsored by. Next you need to have ads from a product that stops my face from melting👀🤪😱🤡🗯👻
Easily one of the best bands in the world. I’m not sure I’ve heard a horn section better than this since TOP.
Taking my wife to see TOP for her 66th birthday next week... she is from Oakland and yes... What is hip? This stuff!
@Brian Vallotton I hope you both have a great time!

The amount of content Cory gives out for free is pretty insane
True, but I just went to Atlanta with my family and friends to see this for real. Money well spent and it’s because I discovered them on RUclips. It was THE MOST FUN concert I’ve ever been to.
I think he looks at it more as an investment, long term type thing he's not dumb
that means, he is well above any profits and success: his music and performance says it all!!!!

I was at the show and took my wife who had never really listened to CW, she was a fan after. Thx
Hands down the best band out there right now. Thanks Cory for all the live concerts in my living room!
Love the amount of guitars and basses that Cory took with him on tour - For decoration 😄

My wife and I saw him like last year. You're going to have a great time!
My body was not ready for the 17:54 bari solo straight into Sonny's bass solo. Simply too funky!
I haven’t prayed in a while, but I pray there’s more of this guy’s videos on RUclips!
Bought a ticket to this show at the last minute and it was probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, so many sweet jams, Cory Wong is a BAMF
Cory, you and the whole band are a national treasure. Thank you for bringing so much joy into our lives!
👏👏👏 well said. 🥁
You got to be you with the horns is amazing
Indeed! The perfect antidote to the minimalist approach Vulfpeck takes
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU GUYS IN SAVANNAH ON SUNDAY!!!!!!
THat is the MOst Fantastic and Unusual concert of funk music I ever seen in my whole damn life!!!!!

The arrangements are stellar. They give Tower of Power a run for the money. Come back to Pittsburgh.
I used to play in a 10 piece band with horns. We thought playing Some funk stuff was it! Now I hear this! OMG

I literally just did the same thing! So good I had too.
This band is tighter than my budget. Everything just flows and the sound is fantastic. I agree….. one of the best bands out there.
I put this YT link on my FB page this morning with this text, "So you wanna start your day off in a good mood? This oughta do it. You’re welcome !!!"

He was lucky enough for his parents to name him after a Vulfpeck tune!
This will never get old
Can’t wait to see more of Jake, love his style
He's got some tasty solo stuff too
Man, this is Tight!
Cory Wong has only gotten better! Magnificent!
Fkin baritone solo brooooooo Jesus great stuff

Pretty sure all these tracks are the same as the new live album he just dropped last week! It's on Spotify
What's the other version?

Really want to go see Cory and the band live. Can't get to any of the gigs in the UK. All midweek and nothing in the SouthWest. Damn!
Amazing stuff! Really hope Robbie Wulfsohn is joining on the next leg of the tour! Light as Anything is an all time favorite
Seeing him in at Louis next month. Fingers crossed. Victor Wooten is supposed to be there for a stretch coming up too
the star of this show.
Kevs Wah Pedal.
Home is absolutely beautiful. That's on the same level of artistry as Divided Sky. Im an old guy who doesn't get into new things. You got me hooked.
man i wish Negah was there! Great stuff
Give it up for Petar. Dude’s an animal on the drums.
The fills are always perfect and surprising.
Dude is feral when he plays!
...Animal lol
He sure is
Sony T was Prince's favorite for a reason
so love you guys - all of you!
Whooooow… soooo Funky and groovy ❤
Robbie Wulfsohn vocals are top notch! 👌
Loving that 'Light as Anything' is getting a good run out these days - awesome tune
The recording and mix on this is out of this world. The band, they're alright too. ;)
The sax solo on You got to be you is so good
Oooohhhh Yeah.. Thank You 👏 👍 🎶
"Let's Go" holds up so much better than it should without any vocals
CORY! Thank you so much for posting this! This set was phenomenal, easily my favorite show of 2022! :)
looking forward to the Czech Republic❤
I had a million amazing takeaways from this show, but never wanting Kenni and the Jets to end is up top. It's fucking sublime
this band is always on fire!
What a song HOME.... Amazing solo Cory you've won a place on the guitar heaven bro!!!!
Home is one of my favorite Cory Wong tunes, and that's saying a lot because there are a LOT to choose from.
My 6 yrs old son asked is that Rabea when watching Light As Anything. 🤣
I do really want to see Rabea and Cory on the same stage though. 👍
A really dirty crossover with “Power of Love” was in the cards there :)
Hip to be square
