- in 1962 marilyn was set on a light bedroom comedy somthings got to give. after 2 months of shooting she got fired and a few weeks later she died. the film was never finshed. i have found some outtakes and footage behind the sceans. any comments please leave below.
At 36 she looked better than she had in years. Her beauty was incredible. She’d lost 12 pounds, seemed motivated, looked radiant and happy.
At this time, she was at her peak in beauty. She had a gall bladder operation months before and lost most of the weight she gained when married to Arthur Miller. She is luminous in these scenes. She glows incandescent. What a shame we lost her!
I agree. She never looked more beautiful than she did at the end of her life... She was definitely on the upswing. She had won her battle with Fox over being fired from "SGTG". She had an agreement to finish the film at 5X times her original salary, ($500,000.00, up from $100,000). She also signed an additional two picture deal with Fox at $500,000.00 per film. She was on the upswing. Her career was definitely not on the decline. She had successfully won all of her battles with the studio.
Age 18 on up every day Marilyn Monroe was ms America. I love her forever. The best fun personality in Hollywood history.

@@dorothyallspice1862 I bet. Marilyn herself was a child who moved from family to family because her mom was mentally ill and had tried to choke her to death when she was only a baby. Marilyn was an orphanage and I am pretty sure she would've hated knowing other children going through the same thing as her: living without parents, going through the things she went through in those homes. But I do believe she wanted to be a mom for "real", I bet she'd love to have a couple of kids. But no man loved her the right way, they treated her badly. She loved children, she seemed to be so happy around them. I hope she's in heaven or something and that she finally got her baby.
I think since she passed away it made her more mysterious as if she was still alive and lives her life others would’ve forgotten about her just like they did with Ava Gardner Lauren Bacall Katherine Hepburn Betty Davis Joan Crawford etc.

In fact, in her biography his daughter Deana said that she and Dean Paul had taught her the Twist on one visit, and she had taken the boys to a baseball game where she had to make a public appearance. Dean actually went so far as to sue the studio for breach of contract over the issue, and they sued right back. It became very messy, and potentially expensive, before the studio backed down. Dean was always his own man, and extremely loyal to his friends (as when he flatly refused to attend JFK’s Inaugural Ball when he found out that Sammy Davis had been ‘uninvited’ because of his relationship with Mai Britt)

She was so beautiful ❤ I hope that someday people will stop mentioning the " aged like fine wine " comment. This puts so much emphasis on a woman's age and her need to always stay young. Please don't put such pressure on young girls and women and don't make life experienced women feel as if they did something wrong for "aging"; thing that can't and will never be under anyone's control. It is enough to just say she looks beautiful. Hope I didn't offend anyone .

FIFTY takes with the dog. MM had the patience of a saint. They could not film other scenes yet because many parts had not yet been cast, the script was incomplete, and changes were being made to it on a DAILY basis .. not to mention the fact that there wasn't even an ENDING to the movie written yet! Yikes!. All they could do with her was that she had to do this scene over and over and over again. Most actresses would have stormed off the set, but she simply laughed at the dog not following orders. She spent hours upon hours of being on her knees (uncomfortably), without a single complaint. A true artist.
