    Grazie a questa registrazione decisi, ai tempi del conservatorio, di studiare questi tre splendidi poemi pianistici in struttura di sonata. ABM li eseguiva in una maniera cristallina, equilibrata, senza virtuosismi circensi, facendo quindi apparire il primo e il terzo movimento non più ardui di come lo sono già. Posso dunque crederci che Michelangeli è il massimo modello di riferimento nella didattica pianistica.

    I attended this unforgettable musical experience as ABM's concerts could not be defined orthodoxically "concerts". They were not
    journeys in search of fan worship but, on the contrary, in search of spirituality, contact with mystery and the divine through music. Feelings that nobody was able to arouse like ABM.

    • @germanchris4440
      @germanchris4440 Год назад +1

      @@seanmarshall7529 I completely agree with part one of this statement.
      But Michelangeli was by no means out of his senses (or mind), but completely devoted to what he was doing in order to be as worthy of it as possible.
      Michelangeli's devotion was in the way the saved believer should be devoted in his walk to the Lord Jesus Christ. Entirely, as a living sacrifice of himself.
      What man can do, based on his endowment, comes from God. God is to be given the glory, but the artist is still to be acknowledged and admired. It is the same with the great composers and, in general, all empowered people.

    Une fois encore Vous nous avez émerveillés par cette interprétation remarquable.
    Nous devons imaginer que quelle que soit la partition,elle semble imprégnée
    et gravée dans son cerveau et qu'il l'observe attentivement.
    Surprenant car il s'agit de la première image de AB Michelangeli face
    à une partition mais peut-être au cours d'une répétition
    Merci pour cette nouvelle richesse.

      most accurate comment. I also feel that he is pronouncing a french text with Italian diction and articulation and i don't think this is what Ravel intended. This is an impressionistic piece, not a 17th century classic composition yet he is playing it in a strict metronome which is an extreme limitation to this piece. All the magic of the piece is completely gone.
