Nice build! I've been running mine for 6 years daily rain sleet and snow.
Pushing 550 bhp running a 6266 bb PTE in mine. Smoked an R6 Yamaha, countless 492 Dodges, and a Ram TRX.
Built it up in my kitchen too lol.

Awesome video. Thanks for hitting the strip and sharing what you learned. Here in Africa we have really high ambient temps, warm day easy sees 39degrees, wat we do with the water to air, we have like a race fuel cell but, filled with water and ice, normally in the spare wheel well, then use that ice water to circulate to the water to air, instead of the head exchanger, just with taps, close of the path to heat exchanger, open path to the ice bucket in the boot. After two pulls, we drain and re- ice, we see intake temps as low as 3 degrees while the rest of the guys struggle with 50degree intake temps
Yes i did looking into that but generally my car will be a road car will probably only go drag strip a few times a year so thought it would be over kill. I have no intake my filter is directly on the turbo on the back of the engine with all the hear which doesn't help for a start. Gonna be doing some thinking and planning once i know what im going to do i will make a video on it

@@danieldoyley7434 Me and my tuner believe its around the 500bhp mark. Once i sort my intake temp problems i will be putting it on a dyno so we know and i will do a video on it 👍

Camera mount isn't very good it has movement in it
A suggestion maybe is to relocate your intake... Air would be cooler and then the heat exchanger won't have to work so hard with the cooler air coming in
I want too but i have no room i never wanted to put the air filter directly on the turbo i just had no choice. Im definitely gonna have to re think my setup
@@dkautos mybe try out an intercooler setup... So your discharge runs on the right side of engine, through cooler and then into throttle body... And then you should free up some space on the left... But thats if u want to drop the exchanger🙆♂️
@@themoneyshower502 I would like to keep the water to air setup but if i have to i will swicth to a big air to air cooler

Just a thought, could you overide with a manual switch or setup/program the rad fans to come on when the air temps get too high?
Ye i have thought about adding a fan to the heat exchanger but i dont know if it will restrict flow when moving as it will have to be on the front of it. The water shouldn't heat up that quick even when not moving i think most of my problem is having the air filter directly on the turbo it gets really hot back there so the water to air cooler is having to work twice as hard, im gonna do some heat management bits and try and find a away to a cold air intake then test again

But the again anything more than 500 will mess gearbox up. Proud of ya mate. Well done
@@pearlprints5019 Ye course. We are just getting started im not even sure what its running need to sort the little problems out get the gearbox better then we will fet a dyno and add some more boost 💪 thank you 👌
@@dkautos they come satndard 250 bhp.. am currently building my block up for a v6 4motion vr6 turbo aswel. Lol. Am after 450bhp. But al be happy with 400.😅 these engines are very capable for power. Its the the gearbox that let em down after 550 600 horsepower.. gud luck with yours pal. Will be watching out for your new vids pal. 🥳🥳🥳🥳🤠🤠🤠
