We the People would love to see you and vice grip garage do a nice big build together, you and Derrick are my number 1 RUclips channels I watch. Your down-to-earth guys who has stayed the same over the years of making content for everyone to watch. we all know its not easy getting ever video out each week for us to watch. Thank you for being a great content creator. Keep up the awesome work.
I think the only real issue with the idea is both Derek and Rich have families with kids, so it's a big deal to be away from them for weeks to do a build
Really appreciate the comments James. We did a couple video's together, and will likely do more in the coming years. Going to finish what I have on the go right now first
@@DEBOSSGARAGE Yeah, the EFI into the Bronco set the bar high for a great teamwork playlist ... I was reminded of those mathematicians cracking the Enigma code, when you and Derek were working out the belt length! Great team content, look forward to more of it
That key smith had me laughing. I'm sure he don't see cars too much like that nowadays. Then again, he probably had a few cars like that himself coming up. Talk about a rare skill... Always an adventure
Always enjoy when Derek shows up in your videos and you in his. You, Vice grip garage and Fab Rats are my favorite channels. Would love to see a collaboration video with just you and Derek, maybe a revival of something cool in Canada for him drive home 1500 miles to rusty acres. I know you are both busy, but I think that would be epic! Keep up the great work and thanks for so much entertainment!
Power Tour season is my favorite set of vids. Proof the automotive brotherhood is stronger than ever despite everything going on in the world!!! Made my day seeing this!! Safe travels Rich and everyone else!!!
Absolutely loved this video!!!! Perfect content with hard working people and great cars. Trials and tribulations but the ideal outcome with a fantastic journey which is what dreams are made of for us common men
Hey that was a lot of fun watching. I'm from the south. The heat and mosquitoes are very real. Thanks for putting the hours in that GTO and making the road trip. 👍
Finding an engine in the ditch is pretty cool! I used to drive trucks and there was chatter on the UHF about debris on the highway I was looking out for. Turns out it was an LS1. I couldn't stop to pick it up though.
I can still remember the video of all of you guys building an engine in your hotel room for this car. It's come a long way since then and it looks great.
That's one heck of a locksmith there! Luv the 🐐!!! Such a nice color, that interior is beautiful!!!! My dad had a 67 lemans and I currently have a 69 gto with a 70 455 and th400, owned it 30 yrs now!!! Luv me some ponchos!!!

Hi from uk rich👋👍 pleased car did well (apart from wiper motor) bit outstanding times for you all and seen the derek stop on his channel to help guys with the alternator problems was valiant effort at roadside but yeah towed in style drove out on a prayer 👌 nice to see everyone coming together to help out on these events you guys hit upon 👍 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
Good job getting through the week. I have always been mental about bringing two sets of keys for the vehicle I am road tripping in, and leaving all the other keys at home because I know I will loose them all
After seeing that weather statement and that automotive shop I know you were in my hometown of Memphis!! Love the channel and love the builds. I’m a big Pontiac fan myself and I’m currently restoring one that belonged to my late father it’s a 10th anniversary trans am. 400/4 speed He had lost it some years back, talked for years about finding it and wrenching on it together. Then a few short months right after he passes it just falls into my lap and I find it abandoned behind a mechanics shop. There’s a whole cool story with it but I’m not going to ramble. Currently fixing to do the floors and I just got a fully forged 467 stroker bottom end from butler performance and now currently working towards the top end. Keep up the hard work and you got a like and subscribe from a new fan and friend in Southwest Tennessee! Hope to see you fellers at one of the power tours when I get her up and going 👊🏻
Good puff of blue on the kick down when you were on the freeway about the 9:23 mark. Anyway Hey Aaron and Rich I can't believe I'm 7 hours behind on the vidja!!! Hey a great trip Boyz!!! I'm with ya in heart!!!! And give Aaron a spare would ya!!!! LOL
The problem is-- Your string is measuring the inside diameter (ID) of the belt/ down in the groove, but you are measuring the OD of the black belt itself- so it doesn't sound like much, but just that bit of thickness around all of the different radius's of each pulley will add up on you.
I laughed when You and Derek were measuring the belt, Metric versus Imperial Versus Metric. Aussies are still taught both in school and I was helping my 12 yr old with it which amazed her coz im apparently Oooooold. Love your work :-)
Wasn't so much taught to us in school but we were taught how to do the conversions. I'm good with the bigger imperial measurement but I struggle with the smaller fractions.
Set all belt adjust at mid point. Make a belt out of masking tape so it follows all the pulleys etc etc. cut the tape and there your proper belt length.
You did gut this car to begin with. Great rebuild it looks great. Love the color, and stitches . I am a sub but haven’t been to your Chanel in a bit Glad I did . I really like this car. I’m upstate New York, I know rust ,it always wins. Only a few virgin cars up here, not many never driven is salty conditions. Or no rust but smashed up. Curtis key codes. I hear you brother! I’ve ran about every piece of construction equipment there is but I’ve never got my hands on any tree cutting/logging equipment cause it’s just not big around here but I’ve ALWAYS dreamed of running one of those big harvesters that takes down trees, it would just be a fun interesting piece of equipment to run 👍
Ya know they had vast forests of gigantic trees in Minnesota. But they cut the all down If you find forestry interesting I highly recommend anyone to read the book “Barkskins” And I challenge anyone to read that book and NOT cut down a tree with an axe. The tree harvesting machines do injustice for the hundreds of years the tree took to grow. Did you know the redwood was not the tallest tree in North America? The Douglass fir used to be much larger but …yup…. U guessed it. We cut them all down. And we cut them all down before those machines even existed Cutting trees doesn’t need to Be easier. We have proven that handily.

The first time I needed a locksmith to figure out what key I needed for a 66 C10, he walked over to a bench and picked up a large ring of 60s GM keys and said "Go figure out which one works". After a couple hundred keys, I found one. And since the door had a different lock than the ignition, I found out what key fit that also. For $20, I had two sets of keys and didn't need a locksmith to pull apart a lock. Simpler times.
A couple hundred keys…. Fuuu I lost my keys for 88 Camaro. They only made 3-4 Keys for those. Got some at a junk yard and they worked. My mom had 93 Ford escort And we once went back to car from store and unlocked and got into and started their car before we realized it wasn’t our car. My first car was 94 mercury-tracer. (Sister car to escort) And I locked my key in and had my mom drive over because her keys were interchangeable.
Ever thought about getting a Rally Fighter and going cross country only taking back roads and dirt roads 🤔 🤔🤔 how adventurous can a Rally Fighter be and imagine what you could do with it. Modify and improve it 😁😁😁
Just an FYI. If your halogen bulbs connector tabs are getting hot and breaking off it is a clear sign of a poor ground connection between body, frame and charging system. Be a good idea to go thru those and add extras if need be. Ground connections are the single most important part of your electrical system, if you don't have good ones things get hot and fires start.
I've lost a phone down an elevator shaft before. And when I lived in an apartment building I also dropped my keys down the same gap. That time I got them back with 2 metal coat hangers taped together after the manager let me into my unit.
