One little breakdown...a minor oil leak....after ALL of that driving across the whole country. That is a true testament to your mechanical abilities (and to the fellas and fellettes that helped out along the way).
Windshields are the scariest part of a resto . Even helping the professionals was nerve racking ! The truck looks great . Nice to meet other cool car crazy people on this adventure .
Man I love this build up reminds me of my 56. It’s got me looking for another one . Car enthusiasts people seem to all ways go out their way to help each other out.
It would be great to see a video on the import process for those looking to do a similar project of building out a project US side then bringing it home.
Fun to see Zack in there! When I saw his truck in the cover shot, I got in and subscribed to your channel. Sad about Zack's trans, it put a real kink in the overall fun of his trip. I was seeing your truck in his videos so glad to connect the dots. Brian
Such an incredible road trip you guys put together! Ending it with power tour was perfect. When you pass through again, I'll 100% help ya out if you need it. ( which is like 133% Canadian, so pretty good 🤣 )
What a great series. Wonder if I could take a bone stock 2015 Honda Odyssey on power tour. ...lol. Robbie Layton was at that Summit spot on his most recent build - nice area. Thanks rich et al. Hopefully you're safely home...
We made an in depth video on importing videos. We just learned though that you cannot import a homemade trailer (boat for us). They felt so bad for us they didn't even look over the trucks and sent us on our way
@@DEBOSSGARAGE Yup. I imported some wave runners a few years back and they wanted documentation/serial number/title on the trailer and never even looked at the watercraft.
If anyone saw that big antenna setup at Summit Racing and wonders, the owner is a ham radio operator and owns DX Engineering which is one of the biggest ham radio retailers. They have a cool display room inside Summit too. I’m only a couple hours away from there and also a ham/car guy.
Where you start there. In that showroom. I did not see a single car sporting a ("Patina") finish. With all dur respect to your skills as a vehicle creator. I love the F3Kitty. And your tractor & Trailer. I believe that "some" guys adopt that "Patina" credo, for no reason other than, they don't know how to finish a prject. Love your videos. They are fun, and helpful.
Rich love your projects I'm a Ford guy So juicebox and f3 kitty are sweet But I do like your old Chevy I've changed a windshield in my first car a 73 pinto saved from a junk yard in Ga In 1980 my dad really didn't show me what we were doing only had me do was pushing them the outside while he pulled the rope But years later I worked as a helper at my uncle's restoration shop Bought a 1986 ranger in 1989 plain Jane rubber floor mat Bought a factory sliding rear window From a junkyard came from an XLT tutone truck because of overspray on rubber seal gasket Cleaned it off with lacquer thinner Then greased around the seal with axel bearing grease Using the cotton 1/4 inch rope It took longer to get old flat window out than to put the slider in My uncle explained it with the help of his original 1957 Ford shop manual Showing how to put Windows in using that method including the grease
Literally working on “garbage” all day yesterday. Sorry you missed the DGHD episode 3 days ago. People like different things I get it, doesn’t mean we’ve changed at all.
@DEBOSSGARAGE sorry deboss I really do love ur videos cause u did unique things like Noone else I guess I don't know I'm just pissed I can't afford to do cool shit I just lost my job I'm down rn things just never go good for me bad luck always gets me and well life just sucks rn
I'm waiting to see somebody rig up one of those ecoflow portable AC/heater units in the passenger seat. I'm sure they would give a free unit to any RUclipsr with a decent following. Definitely would have to get a bit creative with how you hook up the duct to outside. Just a thought.
Kind of odd that my LG phone does not have the 🇨🇦 in the Emojis, (had to copy and paste from you) my mother's side is all 🇨🇦. Absolutely love this truck in the other RUclipsrs you've been collabing with. And you should do a giveaway with the windshield, sign it, have other guest RUclipsrs sign it add some decals I think that would be awesome.
Every single piece of glass on Edna was broken on Edna when we bought her. Replaced all that plus all cab seals cause she unfortunately lives outside. Patina life.
Rich please take the battery out when you're changing the disks on the angle grinders. I'd hate to hear you hurt your hands. You kinda need your hands 🙏😬
Very enviable trip Rich makes route 66 look like a Sunday drive I have a question where did the boat come from did you buy it cheap along the trip!!! Kym Adelaide
riding in the back of a pick up truck is illegal in Ont. (Odd got caught doing it in Ottawa Ont.)was told it was legal if all seats and belts are occupied, but we had both seats of the s10 LUV filled in the cab . That being said that was early 90s, and in mid to late 90s a pickup doing the same rolled in Ottawa and some were killed. Either the cop was being nice to us or the law changed later.
RUBBER SEALS AGAIN!!! Do you know how hard it is to get the lip seal of a rubber gasket to fit on a forward drum assembly in a tranny... so bad this video gave me PTSD.
🤔🤔🤔 this is why I don't like "patina". Its just rust. Its worth it to spray it. Not rust in the eyes. At least spray the cab. That's where you sit for hours and hours.
Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦
It would be great to see a video on the import process
Maple syrup wiskey shots for everyone 😀
Must be having a hell of a party, can see the smoke from here!
Sorry missed you on power tour
Happy Independence Day!

Needs a sticker on the inside at lest

Thank you

Yup, would love to see the border crossing video!
Glad to see the old Chevy is running nicely, that’s a good feeling, especially on a fresh build.👌👍
Nothing screams fun than working under a dash on a wiper motor! You are my hero Rich…
Fun to see Zack in there! When I saw his truck in the cover shot, I got in and subscribed to your channel. Sad about Zack's trans, it put a real kink in the overall fun of his trip. I was seeing your truck in his videos so glad to connect the dots. Brian
Can't believe you were at Summit Racing - 5 minutes from where I work!! Awesome build and road trip! Happy Belated Canada Day!
The black z32 in the background was a beautiful example of a twin turbo. ❤❤
Such an incredible road trip you guys put together! Ending it with power tour was perfect. When you pass through again, I'll 100% help ya out if you need it. ( which is like 133% Canadian, so pretty good 🤣 )
New sub here, dig the diesel content!!
When i was a kid it was legal to ride in the back of trucks still! 80's
I love this truck! The Chevy design, your mods, your greats mods and the stance is perfect.
The music of this episode is just perfection. I love a road trip. Happy Canada Day from your southern neighbor.
Would be cool to see you and Mike do a photo shoot and a cruise together. Two 55s rolling around would be pretty sweet to see
What a great series. Wonder if I could take a bone stock 2015 Honda Odyssey on power tour. ...lol. Robbie Layton was at that Summit spot on his most recent build - nice area. Thanks rich et al. Hopefully you're safely home...
Had a "57" Sixer...Beast!
Nice glass assistant, Rich . The Apache is coming together, great build.
Loved it, would be awesome to see you guys in Europe, Northern Europe even sometime, lots of cool hotrods up here.
Happy Canada Day from pembroke Ontario
Love the look of that pickup, very coooool , 👍🇭🇲

@@DEBOSSGARAGE so you couldn't bring the boat?
Like I tell my sons, Rich - the more you do something, the better you get at it. Never thought of putting it on a resume, though.
All that work upfront meant the final journey was drama free. Really impressive!
Happy Canada Day! . Happy Canada Day! .
Great channel Boyz!!
It's funny how you're more inclined to hug in some garages, but not others. :)
Had same issue with the flat glass on my 1950 Chevy pick up. Good job guys

Have a sandwich and coffee on me Rich. A great series of vids on the Apache
Thank you very much!
Those are some spiffy shorts you got there rich! lol

Rawlings has done a lot of patina builds too. His showroom is one area of his compound
Badass Build!!! 👊👊👊
can't wait for the border story
Aloha with it being extremely Hot...
Install a vintage air that would be a get touch to that truck.
Rich love your projects
I'm a Ford guy
So juicebox and f3 kitty are sweet
But I do like your old Chevy
I've changed a windshield in my first car a 73 pinto saved from a junk yard in Ga
In 1980 my dad really didn't show me what we were doing only had me do was pushing them the outside while he pulled the rope
But years later I worked as a helper at my uncle's restoration shop
Bought a 1986 ranger in 1989 plain Jane rubber floor mat
Bought a factory sliding rear window
From a junkyard came from an XLT tutone truck because of overspray on rubber seal gasket
Cleaned it off with lacquer thinner
Then greased around the seal with axel bearing grease
Using the cotton 1/4 inch rope
It took longer to get old flat window out than to put the slider in
My uncle explained it with the help of his original 1957 Ford shop manual
Showing how to put Windows in using that method including the grease
U can tell deboss is getting money rolling in now his videos are way different then before no more dirty hands and no more working on garbage his self
Literally working on “garbage” all day yesterday. Sorry you missed the DGHD episode 3 days ago. People like different things I get it, doesn’t mean we’ve changed at all.

I just subbed, I'll check Edna out later. 💪
@MichaelSmith-jv7zm hey thanks so much!!! We really appreciate you

Wow , driving across Texas in these 101F temps with no AC. Stay safe.
Great video

I guess the original windshield kept the frame aligned. Flimsy by today's standards, but it really came together.
Easier to put the bottom in first then you can pull down directly towards the bottom.
It was a light blue truck with the white interior
Hey Happy 4TH Of July &Fuckin Right On, Cool people all the way around,...Good Show Idea Do More..😎💯✌
Columbia in the summer with no AC, us locals don’t even do that 🤣
When the heck did y'all get a boat??
Happy Canada Day
I can pull the door panels off a 92 riviera in about 4 minutes 🤣 funny how fast you get at things after enough times
🔥🔥
@10:52 needed a Tape Boss.

Why is the back window on the truck square?🤔
👍
So that's where that comb went ...
Nice truck. New, spotless modern wheels on it make no sense to me.
Why did all the Dirt Cinema branding get removed?
👍👍
Does anyone now if the blue color in the Apache is common cuz I got a 59 fleetside that all faded blue like that hood
But hows he going to keep a rustbucket from disintegrating in canada?
🤔🤔🤔 this is why I don't like "patina". Its just rust. Its worth it to spray it. Not rust in the eyes. At least spray the cab. That's where you sit for hours and hours.
I'm glad you didn't sell the Chevy 😂
It's so hard watching novices putting in glass.
Any tips, Karen?
I am once again asking for you to give us the Silverado.
The man’s pretty busy. Give it a rest.
3rd! 🎉
To me u do anything with gas monkey you’ve mad it in the car world
🇺🇲💯✌
The Gas Monkey himself.....
I want, no, need an Emily. Someone please clone her and send me one.
Really dude, have some class
What's wrong with wanting a woman like her? Kiss off.
Sorry, not a fan of Gas Monkey.
Can’t stand patina! Paint that thing!
Never. Just finished painting the Bronco and Silverado. Along with the GTO and Kenworth, I have enough shinny paint to worry about
