I have a 1999 R6 that runs great, I don't see a problem with age on a good bike.
I've had two 2002 gsxr 600's. I love that year. Its everything in a bike.

What killed me was run yourself into a tree for thousands less 🤣
These "old" sport bikes offer a lot of value. Consider today the move towards super nakeds. You can save a lot of money by buying into these older sport bikes. The bottom line is fun and these bikes still deliver.

Dude, gotta love the yellow! :) I wanted that one but then i got a great deal on 2001 750 in the original white and blue :)
Looking at blue and white one, they look cooler than the new ones..

Have the 2003 one. For 600cc bike can hang with cars with 500 hp plus with no problem at a fraction of the price..😁👍

I always value your opinion. I'm on a K1 600. I'm in my third season of riding and all on the K1. If anything I'll replace it for a younger year!! I love the 2011!!
I have a 2002 gsxr 600. I changed the hearing 1 down, two up. I noticed the difference right away. The acceleration was nice. Lost some top speed. Overall I love my 02 gixxer

Just got a 01 gsxr 600. 35000 mi It’s a beast. I painted it and did some routine maintenance.
Just sold my S1000RR and picked up an 02 gsxr 600 dirt cheap. It's more comfortable, managable and usable than the bmw ever was and its a 6th of the price. Definitely would recommend, they haul my giant ass just fine!
I currently ride a 1990 Kawasaki 454 LTD. And sure it's not perfect, father in law give it to me, but it's a good bike. Runs good, performs well. 2002 anything can't really be considered old in my book, and I'm only 24

I'm on a K1 600 first bike and she keeps up with the newer bikes it kills the twistys. If your ever in Toronto Canada look me up!
I used to own a 03 telefonica 600, I liked it alot.
This is my bike my 1st same identical bike. I have learned everything i know on this bike. I can say it is heavy is what i noticed. Compared to a 2015 and newer are so much lighter.

Just bought a 03 gsxr600 with 5000 original km on it pretty much brand new and have the original receipt of when it was bought new the dude i got it from really cared for it not a single mark on it show room condition as it was kept in his living room
I had an 01 brand new in 01. I had this exact 02 until I sold it last August. It is a great, beautiful bike. I loved it, and I will probably buy another one when I can afford a sport bike and my cruiser. I actually had that 01 as my first vehicle lol. Drove it through Boston during the Big Dig project back then. Bettencourt's Suzuki Sold it to me in Bridgewater Mass. Only reason I ended up with it was the CBR seat was too hard, and the guys at Brockton Cycle wouldn't match the price on a ZX6 R.
2005 Gsxr is the best model by far.
2004 and 2005 are the same i feel the same best model by far lol.
I have a 2003 gsxr. I easily lift the front wheel at 3000rpm. I love the 600 compared to my k5 1000
Still worth buying an 02 600 today roughly getting it for 2500 bucks

Bought mine with about 12,000 miles on it . Has 20500 now after 10 months .
Wouldn't complain at all . And I paid 2600 euro . The minimum now you can get one in Ireland is 3000 euro and that's a standard one with high miles .
Mine has ohlins front damper and rear shock . Akaprovic exhaust brembo front break set up .

do you see the seat on that motorcycle? Looks more comfy than the one on my cruiser. I sat on the 2015 Hayabusa at the bike show in NY and the seat was also super comfy. Then i read in forums that Suzuki is known for good seat cushions.
Bought this last year, still fixing it. I’m watching this video, when I’m missing my R600.
this is one of my favorite bikes of all time. It was between this or a 2020 CBR 650r I chose the CBR. I do sometimes think of the performance I'm missing however

I'm in the market for a 600cc sport bike . Sold my 2000 R6 to help buy a1993 Harley FXLR Lowrider . Love the Harley but miss the RIce rocket . Looking at an 03' Gixxer .

@@georgerodriguez2152 No I don't have the power commander.I will definitely look into it.I like this bike because it doesn't look like every other Gixxer in terms of graphics.Its cool to hear you are still riding yours.
2020 and dont know am i only one but to me bike looks wery good, not that sharp as new ones but like front and from the side, just i would swap the back with 04 05 tail, and compared to the new ones they re slim to me, i like the bulky look of sport bike such as suzukis and allso yami kawi etc, they look to me like more like serious bikes not like toys
I thought that toggle was for the idle adjustment, I have a 02 it adjust the idle

Quest Infinity it’s fuel injected. There isn’t any choke

There adjustable?. I never noticed mine being adjustable the steering damper. Mine is just a sliver side to side kind under the triple tree. I also have a toggle switch for my fan lol.
I have a k2 and the oem steering stablizer is not adjustable
