On the "Ren Train?" with just 3 of his songs, the train ain't even left the station son.. sheesh.. and yes it is truly live, and no it is not auto-tuned. ren is the master of 'one-takes' along with Sam who does most of his videography. Ren has a huge catalogue and is multi-genre, not to mention all his street busking with The Big Push band.. I think I will stick around and watch the fun as you go from station to station.. cheers for the reaction.
He will use auto tune for effect if it suits his purpose for a particular song. But he usually leaves all of those lovely idiosyncrasies alone and we love that about him.
Ren has been playing music on the streets since he was 17 yrs old for hrs a day 5 or so days a week to make money to live on. He started out with a guitar, a microphone and a speaker and has added to it over the years. You need to see his (live) busking videos on the streets and you will see no auto tune is used or any vocal effects that alter his voice. He has put distortion on his voice in some music videos because he wants a distortion on his voice for a reason, to make a point or whatever. He has a gifted and beautiful "polyphonic" voice. His range is big. As he get older...34 this month it has only intensified and gotten stronger. He can flip an octave on a dime, and has excellent control. So what you hear is him and live. Yes, he cleans up the music in post production but what you hear is what you get. He is known for live performances in one take. Why? Because he has been doing it his whole life and it is as easy as breathing to him. Of course minus the years he was laying in bed sick with lymes disease.
Ren's been releasing 30 minute videos on Patreon showing how he masters his songs. THIS IS LIVE. And he'll show you exactly what he's done to tweak it (it's pretty boring if this isn't your thing.) It's usually a lot of VERY subtle things, after which he says, "So this is it dry, and this is the final product.", and the final product is about 10% better. He has a TON of busking videos (many posted by random bystanders) where you can hear what he sounds like on the street filmed on an iPhone, and it's always UNBELIEVABLE! When Ren uses autotune, and it's rare, it's because he wants that particular effect in that song. Oh ye of little musical faith.
Oh, and I think Picasso is a genius who shifted the paradigm of art in the 20th century, but I wouldn't hang a single one of his works on my wall (even if I could afford them.) Unlike Picasso in painting, however, Ren does just about everything musically. My guess is unless your taste runs to Gregorian chants or Tuvan throat singing, you'll probably find a bunch of Ren's music you can blast in your car. You've only scratched the surface.
Ren has been making music since he was 12. He’s about to turn 34 next month. He has literally thousands of songs. This one is a mashup of “Back on 74” by Jungle and “Message in a Bottle” by Sting with the rap in the middle. Ren doesn’t use auto tune apart from the rare occasions intentionally not because he needs it. And yes this truly is live. If it says live it is live. He really is that talented. He has shown us multiple times the work that goes into his music making. He is the most talented all round artist out there at the moment, one of a generation as you will find out the more you dig. You will also gain a shed load of followers as us Renegades are very passionate and watch a lot of reactions. Also REN loves reactors. React to his video “one million subscribers - defining success”. Retakes are covers/mashups of other people’s songs with the beat or lyrics changed. You are only at the beginning. What sort of music do you like? That would help me suggest songs. He has everything from rap rap, ballads, reggae, jazzy soul, art form story telling and a lot more. He’s been in 2 bands also so has their music. Let me know what sort you like and I’ll tell you what to check out. Some ones to definitely do though are these : Hi REN SickBoi The tale of Jenny and screech (full) The hunger Losing it Illest of our time Genesis (video and acoustic) Murderer (video and acoustic) Money game 1,2,3 (2 is a lyric video) The big push (one of his bands) I shot the sheriff/road to zion/hiphop Wade in the water/nina Simone/trouble so hard Watch out live Swan song Sweet little lady (video and live) Dignity Ren & chinchilla Chalk outlines live How to be me live Sexual healing One dance/drunk in love Ren and Sam Tompkins Blind eyed (video) Blind eyed ft angry carpark attendant Blind eyed MC sessions What went wrong 1&2 Earned it/mans world/falling
Ren is an anomoly, and you nailed it when you said he makes music for himself, so early in your journey. One thing you can watch that shows his true character is his One Million subscriber video....says it all.
Ren and his videographer/co-director recently won awards at the International Music Awards - Best Music Video and Best Director, Music Video and Honorable Mention, Best Cinematography for Money Game 3. Ren does a lot of live performance videos and the audio is done live. Ren is very good at producing immaculate sounding live performances, he got a lot of practice working on the busking (live street performances) of his former band The Big Push. If you're in to sound engineering, he talks about some of the technical aspects in an interview here on RUclips. Ren fan here and I've watched a ton of reactions to Ren's music over the last 14 months or so. Enjoyed your reaction here.
@@supertuscans9512 To not even be nominated in a single category at the Brits, having had a number one album says it all really. but then who needs a 'Brit'?
Ren won't sign for a record label so he can do what he wants. The video is a one take with no auto tune. Check out Ren and his old band the big push, street busking in Brighton. The cover is I shot the sheriff, Road to zion. Rens album sick boi, went to No 1 here in the Uk. He has his own label and didn't get any promotion from the music industry. Completely independent artist.
@@toniyoung5131 they do but their promotion has to be according to Ren's direction and health issues. Ren's health regimen is 5 days a week and he has fatigue and illness related issues to consider. I'll try to find the article I read about it. There was a magazine article, I think, from the group talking about signing him.
Oh boy, you are in for a ride and I’m so here for it! Your introduction to him was definitely a bit unusual, but I’m truly fascinated to see a reactor approach him from a different angle! Typically everyone starts with Hi Ren, which I do feel is the essential piece to understand just how mind-blowing this man is! From there, they usually go to Tale of Jenny and Screech, Sick Boi (the song rather than the album it’s on), Chalk Outlines, How to Be Me, and onto the rest of his albums diagonally, usually with Money Game 1, 2, 3 in a single video or a contiguous stretch. All of these are good routes for you to take, but I’ll just go ahead and release my favorites (there’s a lot). (From his most recent album) - Seven Sins - Genesis - Suic*de - Castles Made of Sand (Hidden track not on RUclips) - Murderer - The Hunger - Wicked Ways - Sick Boi Pt. 2 - Loco - What You Want - Uninvited (From his album before the last) - Insomnia - Depression - Ready For You - Everybody Drops - Crucify Your Culture - Diazapam Take all the time you need, but both myself and Ren’s many fans are eager to see your feelings and hear your thoughts, even if they haven’t quite found you yet! Oh, and he very often records live in one-takes. Also just subbed o7 stay blessed
No auto tuned. Ren mixes that well. Two covers and his own rap in the middle. You are forgiven. We'll protect you from the few fan-atics! No need to be anything but honest...really.😂😂❤❤ Tell me a song you have on your Playlist.
Really enjoyed your candor about Ren. He would enjoy and accept it too, Im sure. He is so thankful to the reaction community for giving him a listen and putting him on their channels. I appreciate you recognizing his talents even though you haven't found the right sound yet. I hope you will. He has a lot to pick from. I loved this honest reaction. Thanks!
You can listen to 10 more Ren songs and still not see similarity in style, except the power and humour of his lyrics. "The world is yours.." is a shout out to his own 'Money Game 2'. He likes to include self-references in his lyrics to remind everyone that when it comes to plagiarism or pointing the finger, he's just as much at fault as anyone else! This humility is part of the reason he is so loved.
It doesn't sound auto tuned because it isn't 😂 gotta love Ren everything he touches sounds new and fresh ❤ thanks for your reaction I'm going sub for your future reactions 😊
Charismatic voice interview with Ren. He explains how he edits & mixes his live videos. He spends hours & hours to get the sound to sound that way. Said he had to do that. Because of the live street performing. Years & years of street performances
It's LIVE, he is raw, real talent, a generational talent IMO, and I've seen alot, I am 69 years young. Ren is gonna be remembered , he has just begun to reach the masses. Not Autotuned either.
A lot of Ren’s music isn’t the mindlessly play on repeat kind of mainstream stuff… and quite frankly, that is sooooo very refreshing. That being said, Ren (and The Big Push) also has/have so many songs that I happily and gratuitously play on repeat.
I was going to tell you to not react. But. I watched a reaction from Bloodline Reacts today. They were laughing at themselves for not getting it in the beginning. (They’ve been reacting to Ren for a long time). If, in the end, he’s not your cup of tea, move on. You and everyone else will be happier for it. Hopefully, you’ll find what the rest of us love about Ren. So give it a few more songs and then make up your mind. Oh, and not that you’re going to join his Patreon, but Ren has a video on how he mixed the Fred again mashup. He does this live. You can see for yourself. And in this case, no autotune. And it’s a mix of cover and original.
I listen to him on my way to and from work. Ren calls this a "retake" which is a song where he uses the original music or plays it himself, to which he adds his own lyrics.
Here's a little video Ren released about the making of this track ruclips.net/video/gYScobd-04c/видео.html Ren is totally independent and I think being without a label and the music industry machine, we wouldn't have the Ren that we have today as it's allowed him the freedom to create what he wants. Ren Gill only became "famous" 1 year ago after releasing the epic Hi Ren track. He's a very humble guy and believes very much in the phrase "A rising tide lifts all ships" and has brought many of his mates and other musicians along this journey with him. He credits youtube reactors with a lot of his rise to fame and success and never blocks his videos for any reactor.
Probably plenty others have said: first section is Back in 74 by Jungle cover with the very famous riff by The Police underpinning some of it which is easy to miss first listen. Second part is Ren's own rap spin interspersed with Back on 74. Final part obviously is straight cover of Message in a Bottle with a smidge of Back on 74.
You almost lost me on suggesting this wasn't live or was auto-tuned. Most reactors fall into that trap, though, so I'm going to watch the whole reaction. Sometimes he uses various effects and distortions if that's what the song calls for -- all of which he produces himself, btw -- and sometimes he edits a video together so seamlessly he gets away with cutting several takes together and making it seem like a one-take, but when he's live he's live. And here, he's live. Live one takes are kind of his thing. Ren is remarkable... watch your subscriber count rise now that you've found Ren.
Thanks for the honest reaction, I understand your hesitancy, Ren is an anomaly, he can't be put in a standard category. Perhaps because of his self proclaimed ADHG, he is incapable of staying in one particular lane. I personally admire his commitment to whatever style of music he is currently creating for sure! I can say that if you continue on this Ren journey, you will without a doubt encounter music that you will truly love. Ren has a very extensive catalog to look through that is easily accessible online. He has such a deeply loyal fan base who will defend him on every possible critique, you will find. Perhaps because of Ren's long hard battle with a formerly perceived incurable medical condition, and his very well-documented journey, Ren has garnered so much love. Hope you will continue to research and discover Ren's unique creation.✌
Only your 3rd you have a ton of stuff to see. There are so many styles and sounds and skill in his bag. His band The Big Push has alot of versatility as well. You will soon see what the hype is about. Most versatile and talented artist of our time. Yes it's live. No it's not tuned but probably levels ballanced. You can see this same level of vocsl skill in live street busking filmed on audience members cell phones. Also in his live streams. Check out his Spontaneous stream Jam. Taken from a live twitch broadcast.
Great reaction. I appreciateyour opennessand honesty. Really enjoyed your insights & comments. I'm sure all the other Renegades have given you a long to-do list. Ren is amazing. You can't go wrong with any song. My top 4 recommendations are: 1.The Tales (Tales of Jenny & Screech- all 3 videos in one video) 2, I Shot the Sheriff/ Road to Zion/Hip Hop Mash up on the Big Push Channel (red suspenders version) 3. Murderer Acoustic, but it's hard to do the acoustic version if you haven't watch the original video, but that acoustic version is 🔥🔥🔥. 4. Money Game 1, 2 & 3. Can't leave that out. There's SO MUCH MORE, but that's a good start. Thank you! 💛
O really think you need to see the Jenny and Screech trilogy. And also the Hunger and youll also get to be introduced to Chinchilla with chalk outlines. And Hi Ren is a Must.
Intrigued by your route into Ren. Lost all Faith is an unusual joining point as most will tell you that “Hi Ren” is where it began for them but glad to have you on the train brother. Keep serving up the intrigue.
You just came up on my page. If you’re only 3 songs in you haven’t heard close to what he can do! I would say he’s a musical genius. Singing, rapping, mixing, producing, plays several instruments, all LIVE, and he’s totally independent. His friends make his videos and help him with PR. Us GenX always say music used have true talent and real honesty. Ren is what we were waiting for.
Subbed because of your refreshing approach, rather than faking all the love if you’re not really feeling it just for clicks, I rate him but some of his fans are just a bit obsessive, obviously not the vast majority but some are but it’s good to see you have a open mind
Good reaction. First part is a cover of back on 74 by Jungle. This is live as are many of his videos - also single takes. He has shown on patreon that he does not use autotune. There are a few behind the scenes videos that explain how he works. ❤
back on 74 and message in a bottle are both covers but the rap is original Ren lyrics written for this retake. i respect your honesty and ofc you’re not obligated to love Ren’s music, it’s personal preference in music after all. i’m happy you’re continuing the slippery slope down the Ren rabbit hole tho and i’m sure you’ll come join us on the other side soon enough ;) (but if you don’t that’s fine too just to be clear lol)
Really enjoyed your reaction & look forward to seeing you become as convinced as the rest of us that he's a true GENIUS Liked & subscribed in anticipation of you reacting to more Ren Cheers pal 👍🍻
It’s well rehearsed, minimally edited and life. They are professionals with years of experience, not kids starting out. I feel like if he hadn’t lost those years to illness and having to start over, he’d have tons of awards for performing, writing, producing and directing by now. The first part of the song is a cover too. The rap in between is all him.
Just subbed as I’m excited to witness your Ren journey! I found him about a year ago with Hi Ren and I’ve literally have not stopped listening to him since! Lots of great suggestions in the comments and looking forward to what you choose next! Much love from the Uk!😊xxx
My favorite part of Ren is his authenticity! He's the same in his interviews, music and live streams! Genuinely a beautiful human, with a refreshing soul in today's world!
Most people start their Ren reactions with Hi Ren. It gives some of his story and makes the lyrics even deeper, especially for tracks like Lost All Faith. Also, he does a lot of live tracks with one takes. He did one that took over 180 attempts to get right. He is a bit of a perfectionist...lol. Music saved his life. Literally. The 1st and last parts are re-vamped covers, the middle rap is Ren.
Forget Hi Ren for a minute. What is you're type of music you want to listen to? Coz I guarantee you Ren will have you covered. If you see this reply with what it is you wanna hear and I'll list the appropriate song or songs you want and you will be AMAZED at what Ren can do. You have only just scratched the surface.
I think this is the best comment and suggestion. Wait on Hi Ren and suggest something he would like in his listening genre. We know its there, just have to put him on it.
I’m almost jealous of you getting to experience all of this for the first time. And then there’s the big push. And Romain Axisa and Gorran Kendall, his band mates….so so much to listen to.❤
Ah, my young grasshopper....have much to learn you do..... LOTS more and all different but yet all Ren. He is the Master of the Universe of Music❣️ 🎸 im excited to see you uncover the veil ✨🎶🤘⭐
You have only begun to Plum the depths of your Peaches with Ren..... Ren is a #1 chart-selling UK artist with his album Sick Boy. The song, Hi Ren, has surpassed 26 Million views and catapulted Ren into the worlds view where he garnered a massive following of over 1,3 million within 9 months. The only thing that exceeds his great and ever-changing talent is his humanity, pure love, and devotion to his fans as he struggles with years of health issues to this day. I swore I would leave the rabbit hole when I found a subpar offering, but I'm still stuck here.
Great reaction.. welcome to the ‘Ren Train’. I’ve been watching Ren for over a year now and can attest that he doesn’t use any autotune. I subbed so I can ride along with you on your journey with Ren.. hope you enjoy as much as I have! I’m an oldie, grew up on music of 50s onward.. Ren is the first musician I’ve truly enjoyed in several years. You can’t put him in any ‘box/genre’ - he’s is own! He has an amazing back-story which I’m sure you’ll understand as you watch/listen to more of his music - especially his recently released album - Sick Boi, which was No. 1 in the UK in October. Have fun watching him!!!
I would suggest looking at some of his busking vids with The Big Push if you are left wondering if he sounds as good in a traditional "live" situation. Ren is the real deal, always
New sub here from Arizona, I'm here for any and all Ren reactions. As a 53 year old music lover my whole life, Ren has reconfigured my mind for the better and REN-EWED my heart & soul by making me really hear music for the 1st time in my life! Thank you for the heartfelt reaction! 😊 what an amazing journey awaits you! But Hi Ren is a must reaction!!
you havent seen enough of rens other stuff that is very different to what you have already reacted too, he nearly covers every genre out there, its insane, i hope you have a chance to explore some more, would love to know what your downtime music is like, we might be able to link you up with a ren song that sits that genre :) because the Ren-Rabbit Hole runs deep. Anyway loved the review and your honesty, you may not end up loving him even after hearing everything and thats what i love about music, its unique and not everyone loves the same thing
He went though the whole progress of making the song on his Patreon. It's all live. He does go though and tweaks with the reverbs, pitches, equalizer, stuff like that. Cuts the slap of the guitar out to make it more in depth. Just small little touches. I suck at explaining it. Definitely very very cool to check out if you can.
Yes he is super talented and the thing you need to know is that he does so many styles storytelling (BardCore) singing like this, reggae, rap all kinds of stuff so his talent is limitless so far. Your journey has been weird in terms of where you started with lost all faith but it’s your journey do it how you wish. If you actually dig in the rabbit hole you realise how big and how worth it the journey is. Can’t see you’ve done HiRen so it’s a good place to start. Storytelling/Performance Art not a bump in your car song it has depth. Genesis - Rap song I shot the sheriff/Road to Zion/HipHop These would be my 3 recommendations to get you a little more familiar with different styles.
Ren has so much music. There’s a lot you wouldn’t put on repeat but it’s so powerful to at least hear once. Hi Ren & the tales of Jenny & Screech. Then there’s a lot you would. You just have to keep listening and see what you like.
Sting is one of his big influences! Ren is a musical chameleon! I am a 60 y/o grandma in Florida and I love Ren because of his talent, authenticity and humility! He is the real deal! ❤️🔥✌🏻🫶🏻
Why are you so sceptical of Ren's talent. It IS LIVE, there is NO AUTOTUNE. The rapping is original but Back on 74 like Message in a Bottle are covers.
I love how much fun Ren seems to be having here. Thanks for being willing to continue on this Ren journey, even though you're undecided about his personal appeal for you. His music is so varied, you may discover some songs that really resonate with you. And if not, you'll at least get to take in some good art!
Just reviewed your content .... I see you have decided to react ro his newer releases. A tiny secrect... renegades Flock to ALL his content. Old, new, in between. I alone have visited over 200 reactors for Ren's video HI REN and subscribed and landed on their channel for every single song of Ren's, Chinchilla, SamTomkins, Gorran Kendle, Romain Axisa, The Big Push and Trick the Fox. Take is slow, but take it all in. Dont forget his 1miilion subscribers and definition of sucess letter video, and a lovely list of interviews with reactors, mental health providers and news reporters. He even recorded a message to CNN. If i remember correctly it was titled Love you CNN..... sarcasim at its finest in that title.
I’d love to hear that satire! One thing I definitely notice about Ren, is just how active, loyal and level headed his fan base is. Like I don’t know of any other musician that instantly has so many fans flocking to share about his brilliance on reactors videos. Incredible to see to impact he’s made!
Just subbed, to enjoy your Ren journey ……if you don’t believe what Ren can do live, try him with his band The Big Push, doing the mash up I Shot the Sheriff, Road to Zion, Hip Hop…..live on the streets of Brighton..it’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's two 'covers', he calls them retakes, but the rap and the arrangement is his. Back on 74 is by Jungle, and as you recognised, Message in a Bottle is by the Police. You might like to try the duets between Ren and Chinchilla, and songs by Chinchilla herself. He 'plays well with others'. I won't overload you with suggestions, i can see others have given you some great ideas. He does some post mixing but he only ever uses autotune intentionally (to give the effect of autotune). However, he does much of his live recordings as one takes, he spent years busking so he's well practiced at getting it right first time. Nice reaction!
Nothing to apologize for, Ren can't be put into a bottle, he's like trying to define an infinite universe. He bought me back to the present when I was living in the past with my choice of music from the 60's to 80's. My whole being has changed because of him, I'll be 79 this month and in the past two years since being introduced to Ren, I've taken up learning to play guitar, gained a huge appreciation of Rap, joined Spotify and purchased earbuds so I can listen to some great music being produced today while I workout or take long walks, which has invigorated my energy level. So yeah, Ren is pretty good.
I probably would not have suggested starting with Lost all faith. Most people start with Hi Ren, move onto The Tales ( Jenny Screech Violet), then some Busking with The Big Push ( I shot the Sheriff and War Pigs. Then some Ren and Sam Tompkins ( Blind eyed or Man’s world / earned it) Then Ren and Chinchilla Chalk Outlines, then some of his rap ( Hunger, Murderer, Genesis) Then Money Game Part 3 . And so on and so on…
First thing, I think it’s great you’re doing this and discovering new music. Now, I would suggest that if you have questions about an artist, you educate yourself about them and their music. This is the 3rd song of REN you listened too, which isn’t even his Good songs. You first and foremost need to listen to Hi REN, a song that has something like 40 million views or more. Followed by Sick Bio, Chalk Outlines, Money Game 1,2,&3., Sucide, Tale of Jenny & Screech, Diazepam and on and on. There is no Autotune, almost every single video is a One Take. REN is a Genius, an Artist of true Art, a musical Artist, simply a one of a kind Phenom. And yes, he does have awards. Sick Bio hit Billboard #1 I would add, that if a song says Retake, Mashup, or anything else to that reference, listen to the other songs first so you’ll have a better understanding and appreciation to Rens version
I'm glad you apologised because I thought you were a fool!!! I'm joking of course mate, just be you and no one expects you to know it all or not make mistakes, we must not forget we human beings!!! Great reaction mate, I enjoyed it and I've subbed so will watch more!!! ❤❤
There’s a short bts by Ren Not Ren ( sorry, couldn’t post the link) - live and no auto tune! 😁 PS Hi Ren is a must! Also, How To Be Me PPS subbed for the journey! X
Don’t worry he has music for all tastes you will find something you’ll definitely play in the car his very diverse in his music. As you said it’s only your 3rd song his catalog is vast all different genres so you haven’t seen anything yet! Keep going on you will be blown away! Thanks for the reaction.
This is truly live. No autotune. The only time Ren uses autotune is for specific effects in select songs. He is an amazing performer and incredibly talented. Hope you will continue to check out his music. He can do any genre. This one is a mix of covers and a bit of original rap in the middle (the rap portion is all Ren). His video for Money Game 3 has won awards. He does live streams (you can find videos of a lot of them on RUclips) and will jam on his streams. Check out his live stream jam video and you will recognize how incredible he is at performing. 💜💜
Cover + original + cover or Retake as Ren likes to call them. The middle rap part was all his and of course the arrangement. He is very picky about the audio quality after almost 20 years of experience in recording and mixing live performances, and spends quit some time in the mastering process (volumes, eq etc). He's pretty much "on tune" (and likely picked the two beautiful ladies cos they're as well) so no need for autotune or pitch correction with him except when used as an obvious vocal effect.
I have seen Ren busking in Brighton many times and I can assure you that he sounds brilliant - with no auto tune!
Ooh!!! I envy you so much! 💔❤️🩹❤️ …and those dogs are damn cute too! 🥰
Lucky!😂
I want to travel over there just to see him!
So jealous 😮
Jelly!
Oh no, don't you dare accuse him of auto tune. Post production, yes; zero auto tune. He does his own mixing, too, btw.
He will use auto tune for effect if it suits his purpose for a particular song. But he usually leaves all of those lovely idiosyncrasies alone and we love that about him.
100% I love when other people discover him. My kids are equally obsessed lol@@hollyryalsgrubb1273
Exactly 😊@@hollyryalsgrubb1273
Haha. I love how we get offended by shit like that! We are funny. We are in love.
Lol. Now you understand why so many people react to Ren regularly. As a whole body of work, he is deeper and more compelling than most other artists.
And also, Ren is independent.... every reaction is support to him and helps spreading his music, message and love! ❤❤❤
f.cking right ❤
Ren has been playing music on the streets since he was 17 yrs old for hrs a day 5 or so days a week to make money to live on.
Well said and spot on brother.
Some ones to definitely do though are these :

@@haynesfield1015 thank you 🖤
Nothing more needs to be said except that you saved us all some time...big up!
Ren is an anomoly, and you nailed it when you said he makes music for himself, so early in your journey. One thing you can watch that shows his true character is his One Million subscriber video....says it all.
I have watched that video so many times. It just hits me right in the heart and shows who Ren really is. 💕
It’s a shame he hadn’t been recognised for an award in W Europe or the States but as an independent that’s always going to be tricky.
@@supertuscans9512 To not even be nominated in a single category at the Brits, having had a number one album says it all really. but then who needs a 'Brit'?
They won at the ECU as well
Going from his war pigs cover to his I shot the sheriff/road to Zion/hip-hop cover with the big push is all you need to know he has that it factor.
@francesdoll4039 do you know if The Other Songs actually promote the artists? It would help if that was part of the contract. Thanks.
(From his most recent album)
- Seven Sins
- Genesis
- Suic*de
- Castles Made of Sand (Hidden track not on RUclips)
- Murderer
- The Hunger
- Wicked Ways
- Sick Boi Pt. 2
- Loco
- What You Want
- Uninvited
(From his album before the last)
- Insomnia
- Depression
- Ready For You
- Everybody Drops
- Crucify Your Culture
- Diazapam
Take all the time you need, but both myself and Ren’s many fans are eager to see your feelings and hear your thoughts, even if they haven’t quite found you yet!
Oh, and he very often records live in one-takes. Also just subbed o7 stay blessed
and that's not even getting into The Big Push yet lol
one of the few reactors that hasn't started with Hi REN. yet it explains everything!
No auto tuned. Ren mixes that well. Two covers and his own rap in the middle. You are forgiven.
We'll protect you from the few fan-atics!
No need to be anything but honest...really.😂😂❤❤
Tell me a song you have on your Playlist.
You can always expect the unexpected with ren, thats one of the things i adore about his music. 😊💜💜
Thanks!
As a teacher you’ll soon find out Ren is also a teacher - Check out his Money Game Trilogy
Yes!
Back on 74 is a retake of Jungles original, the rap in the middle is Ren and obviously message in a bottle is a homage to The Police.
Also a shout out to NAS - the world is yours.
Ren, all day every day - his story is incredible, but his humaness is always in his art - thát is the Gift to the world and us.
In this case he used original lyrics and added in his own rap verse.
Here's a little video Ren released about the making of this track ruclips.net/video/gYScobd-04c/видео.html
Ren is totally independent and I think being without a label and the music industry machine, we wouldn't have the Ren that we have today as it's allowed him the freedom to create what he wants.
Ren mixes these two songs like a DJ in a club doing a long mix. You can hear the message in a bottle melody long before he goes into the song full on.
My top 4 recommendations are:
1.The Tales (Tales of Jenny & Screech- all 3 videos in one video)
2, I Shot the Sheriff/ Road to Zion/Hip Hop Mash up on the Big Push Channel (red suspenders version)
3. Murderer Acoustic, but it's hard to do the acoustic version if you haven't watch the original video, but that acoustic version is 🔥🔥🔥.
4. Money Game 1, 2 & 3. Can't leave that out. There's SO MUCH MORE, but that's a good start.
Thank you! 💛
I love your authentic reactions. Don't be embassed - There is no need to apologise at all. Your authentic Ren journey is great viewing
I know! But lost all faith is my fav Ren song followed by Fred again mash up lol
Great reaction. The rap bit in the middle is original, the two songs on either side are covers
Really enjoyed your reaction & look forward to seeing you become as convinced as the rest of us that he's a true GENIUS
Liked & subscribed in anticipation of you reacting to more Ren
Cheers pal 👍🍻
Never doubt Ren. He is amazing.
New sub for Ren's journey!
Just subbed as I’m excited to witness your Ren journey! I found him about a year ago with Hi Ren and I’ve literally have not stopped listening to him since! Lots of great suggestions in the comments and looking forward to what you choose next! Much love from the Uk!😊xxx
You still need to hear hi ren
Oh boy you have a LOT to learn about who Ren is and what he is capable of! Liked and subbed and ready for your ride Down the Ren Rabbit Hole haha...
My favorite part of Ren is his authenticity! He's the same in his interviews, music and live streams! Genuinely a beautiful human, with a refreshing soul in today's world!
Everybody has to start the Ren rabbit hole with HI REN !
❤ #ren
I have been listening to Ren & The Big Push for 16 mths daily & still love every second of it 🙌🖤🔥
❤ it is 💯 live .. he is outstanding and a perfectionist 🖤
I’m almost jealous of you getting to experience all of this for the first time. And then there’s the big push. And Romain Axisa and Gorran Kendall, his band mates….so so much to listen to.❤
It sounds more like you dont want to say you are impressed😂
They have behind the scenes of the song online. It's all live.
I am on this ride with you. I saw your high ren reaction first and am catching up lol. Teachers rock! Thank you.
you havent seen enough of rens other stuff that is very different to what you have already reacted too, he nearly covers every genre out there, its insane, i hope you have a chance to explore some more, would love to know what your downtime music is like, we might be able to link you up with a ren song that sits that genre :) because the Ren-Rabbit Hole runs deep.
Soo happy you are getting on this train!🚂 ❤✌🏼
Great reaction!! Wellcome to Ren's World!!
It’s truly live .
Is it live? yes Ren does his own post production
The thing about Ren is that you put any expectations out of your mind. He will surprise you every time. 💜💜💜
Genesis - Rap song
I shot the sheriff/Road to Zion/HipHop
These would be my 3 recommendations to get you a little more familiar with different styles.
I agree with you 100 percent. Ren makes music he enjoys. Not for radio stuff and plays.
Here for it! Love Ren ❤️🔥 Thank you, new sub
You have no idea ❤
I sure hope you've watched/listened to "Hi Ren".
Would love to see your thoughts on Hi Ren 👍🏻
I’ll definitely do Hi Ren this week! That seems to be the highest suggestion I see in the comments.
No apologies needed --just roll with it. There's much to learn on the Ren train. You're in for a great experience!
You can listen to his entire catalog and never find two songs that are alike.
You can put the Demo tapes and Freckled Angel one too permanently on repeat in your car. This amazing song too. Fred Again and Seven Sins too.
No auto tune. Definitely live...1 take. He takes a ton of pride optimizing the tracks for clarity
the variety you will find in this rabbit hole will eventually provide you with something you want to listen to in your downtime, guaranteed 100%
And so on and so on…
I agree, everything he creates is just for him. It shows his authenticity.
Your going down the 🐇🕳️ in reverse. That's different 😮
Sick Bio hit Billboard #1
I would add, that if a song says Retake, Mashup, or anything else to that reference, listen to the other songs first so you’ll have a better understanding and appreciation to Rens version
I Respect this genuine Sceptical view
After enough experience of Ren we all become Lovers of his Mastery of the One Take
I am soo excited! A new reactor to Ren!!!
PS Hi Ren is a must! Also, How To Be Me
PPS subbed for the journey! X
As you say again…’he comes across really enJoying what he’s doing’. 👌enjoyed
I’ve subscribed just to listen as you learn who Ren is. Enjoy the ride.
Love your reactions Peach. First song is a cover of a Jungle song, middle is all Ren rapping, ending is a cover of The Police.
