He’s profoundly impacted my way of thinking on so many levels that I can honestly say I’m not the same as before I came upon his artistry. We all have the potential to learn and grow and be better than what we were before. Influencing isn’t always a bad thing.

As for college, times change (a global pandemic), technology changes making certain professions obsolete, interests change, skills and talents are often discovered years later after school, the stigma of not working in a top dollar career is a lot for a teenager coming out of high school. Not every student knows exactly what they want and with little life experience, their idealism taught to them is often shattered once they are in college. I started college decades later and it is the best time of my life!

There is a reason why Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" resonated with so many people. But glad that today's teachers are more self-aware than our 70s and 80s Animal Farm teaching. Ren continues to tell the truth in storytelling music. MASTER!

Where you been? I hope all is good! Bro you're one of the good ones! We need more teachers like you in this country. In the way you teach the kids to be free thinkers. Instead of having other people think for them. But growing up, we all were indoctrinated in the ways of being a tax slave. That's riddled with credit card and student loan debt. So many of my friends and people I know. A pain of student loans for useless degrees like liberal arts. They don't know what to do with that degree. They just felt like they had to go to college because their parents made them and kept telling them they had to go and teach us, kept telling them you have to go to college. Really. The only thing they do with that degree is become New York City firemen or New York City police officers Because it didn't matter what degree you have, as long as you graduated college, they'll take you if you pass their tests. So now everybody I know. Busting about the jobs they hate, paying off their loans, paying their taxes that are crazy high. And they're all miserable. Me and my brothers, we all went a different route in high school. We all went to BOCES. Some forward mechanics. Me and my other brother went to Jean to become electricians. My brother who went for auto mechanics, he is now the manager of one of the biggest. Nissan dealerships on Long Island. Making great money and he has no student loan debt. Me and my other brother are both electrical lineman, in the union and making $65.00 plus an hour and we also have no student loan debt. I'm not saying that we're rich, but We're all doing pretty darn good. Have a little less stress on us than everybody else. But still get. Robbed by the government every pay. Because, again, we've been raised to be tax slaves.

Ren is a once in a generation artist. Not only are his struggles an open book that he freely shares with us, uncensored, his music gives those of us Hope, which is not easy to do in the mental health world. As you watch is videos, you clearly see that he is an authentic, genuinely, down-to-earth nice guy, he's not in this for the money, he is in this to let us know that we are not alone, he struggles too, this is what makes him a once in a once in a generation artist. I am 71, and in my 71-year life span, I have seen that God, occasionally, will send us Angels in human form to shine a light of hope on a specific population, this one mental illness. Ren is our Angel, and "Hi Ren" is an anthem to mental illness. What a gift, it gives me chills. So, at 71 years of age, this guy from a small fishing village in Alaska, I am a proud, and true RENegade. 😊

I subscribed to this teacher's channel over 6 months ago when he uploaded reactions regularly. This was the last reaction he did, 4 months ago. I wonder if he's okay, I miss his Ren reactions.
