Ren started playing guitar and piano as a child. He said that formal music lessons didn't work out well for him, so he used RUclips videos to learn. He turned 34 today.
Yes, do the thirteen minute version of Jenny and Screech. Ren put the three together because they belong that way. This is a lovely video to play on a very big screen, if you have one. It is beautiful. This is REN’s original composition.
Ren has been practicing since he was 10. His Dad gave him a guitar and he took it with him everywhere. He has ADHD and Music is his hyper focus. He works really hard at it having little else to fall back on. He’s only ever held one job when he was a teen and was fired for foolin around. From then on all he’s done for income is music, including hours and hours of busking. He was also born to a musical family who exposed him to a wide variety of musicians. I definitely think there is a genetic factor to musical talent. Music seems to run through Ren’s veins, but he works very hard at it, too and it shows. You really should check out his interviews with Charismatic Voice, the Zach Sang Show, and Johnathan Liepe. Happy 34th to Ren!!!
Ren is 34 as of today. 29 March is his birthday. This is an original composition. From what he has said, Ren has been playing guitar since he was 10, started producing beats at 12 and started piano at about 14.
Hi! Love your reaction. This is a tribute to Ren's dear friend, Callum Mackay, who passed away. Ren writes about it beneath the video and at the end of the video he has Callum's dates and a personal message on screen. Ren mentions how this song poured out of him (sometimes, there are no words to express such deep emotions). You nailed it that there's so much emotion in the melody! As for what next to react to next, I'm extra excited for you to react to 'The Tale of Jenny and Screech' along with 'Violet's Tale' (definitely all in one session - you needn't worry about length. Some reactors spend more than an hour dissecting Ren's genius. Others will recommend, I'm sure, not to use captions as there's a twist ending and we don't want the surprise to be ruined for you. There are also many subtleties that a lot of people miss. 💝🙋♀️ Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/TYAnqQ--KX0/видео.htmlsi=0WHC8v1kMUpkcoff 'Money Game' trilogy is also amazing. Some reactors do all three together and others split them up. Part 3 is the most recent and most ambitious and won awards. I'm sure other RENegades will give you more info. My brain is mush and I don't want to provide inaccurate info. Take care!
This is an original written by Ren. He is self-taught and has worked hard to become as good as he is. This is a beautiful song. Ren can tell stories without saying a word, which is an incredible gift. There is a pinned comment from Ren on this video that tells the story of Callum and how Ren wrote this song. Thanks for this great reaction. 💜💜
I’m 43 years old. Legit I believe Ren is the most versatile and best artist of the 2000s. Jenny & Screech 13 minute one. All at once. Has to be together Money games can split them. Money game 2. Is only one of Ren songs. You have to choose lyric video. Not the live one. Now if you want to check the live shorter one after.. that’s cool. Trust me on these suggestions bro. I promise. It’s the way to do them
Jacob Collier is another. Very versatile. Though he doesn't rap. His musical ability is virtuosic. However, for me, the greatest talent of the 2000s is Lewis Taylor. But that might be cheating as he emerged out of the music scene of the mid 90s.
Ren Raps? What do you mean he doesn’t? Plays 4 instruments at master level. Lyrics are top notch, he sings, raps, great collabs with artist. He acts. Brings back a Bard style. If you don’t think he raps. You really need to watch more stuff. I love Lewis. He doesn’t do as much as Ren. If count all his talents. That are elite
@@Dad-JanieWorld He plays well, but maybe not master level if you mean level like professional pianists. He plays well enough to express what he wants. There are small imperfections in this video in the cross handed arpeggio part where he accidentally presses two keys with his thumb, but the other key isn't fully pressed and doesn't really sound there. A bit of nit picking, but it always strikes my eye, because it happens to me too often when I'm practicing arpeggios on piano so it's too familiar sight :). But I love that we have Ren who is very versatile musician and doesn't try to go mainstream, but his songs still speak to big crowd.
Another great reaction! One bit of advice when watching Ren videos, play them to the very end. You (and A LOT of other reactors) missed the lovely epitaph he wrote for his friend after the music ended.
@@peachpreviewhe also sometimes (and in this case) will pin a comment at the top of the comment section with either the lyrics or in this case a brief description about the song. In this case he said it was a tribute to his friend Callum that he always wanted to write a song for but couldn’t come up with the words and one day he sat down at the piano and eventually this was the result.
It is an original composition so you didn't embarrass yourself at all!! Context by Ren for the song is pinned under his comments. Thanks for the great reaction!
This composition is for Callum Mackay, the second childhood friend to die early. The first friend to die, Joe Hughes, had an enormous effect of Ren. I'd suggest watching "For Joe". Ren's piano playing in that video surprised a lot of people. (He sings as well in that one.)
News in Wales reporting the tragedy from Aug.24,2011
Callum Mackay, 22, of Llanfairpwll, went into the sea at Cable Bay near Rhosneigr for a swim despite a warning from his friends about the blustery weather conditions. Yesterday pals Sadie Williams and Lawrence Cuthbertson told an inquest at Llangefni how they watched in horror as Callum struggled in the water as he tried to get out of the sea onto a cliff. Student Lewis Darroch, 22, of Valley, jumped in to help but could not get the unconscious Callum out. He then desperately tried to claw his own way back to safety but was swept back into the sea five or six times by the waves. Both friends drowned in the choppy waters and yesterday North West Wales coroner Dewi Pritchard Jones recorded two verdicts of accidental death . ...................................................................................................................................................................................................... This tribute to me ; I really get a sense of water from the effect he's using on the keys and the repetitions like waves. After the first time I heard it I was curious so I went searching online and found the above . Ren grew up in Wales and speaks Welsh ( One of the 6 living Celtic langauges : Breton ( France ) , Irish, Scottish Gaelic and Welsh, and the two revived languages Cornish and Manx. He sings in Welsh at the very beginning of his newer track ' Seven sins ' ; which is a lyric video . Fyi look up the lyrics to translate the welsh before you watch the video as it isn't translated on the lyric video Someone may have posted it in comments on that video page though ... now that I think of it . Likely . Anyway nice to stumble on your page ! ...
I love this piece! It’s the first instrumental Ren has released. Regarding the Tales and Money Game - The Tale of Jenny and Screech is a trilogy that Ren has put together into one video (each part originally came out separately, years apart). Definitely do the full 13+ minute version in on setting. I would suggest doing the Money Game trilogy in 3 separate videos. For part 2 do the lyric video. There is a live video but it is just a small part of the song.
Great reaction! This is an original. He wrote it as a tribute to a friend who passed away in 2011. For The Tale of Jenny and Screech, there is a compilation on his channel where all of the parts are included into one video - that would be the recommended one, and to do it in one sitting. For Money Game, I would still do them Money Game, Money Game pt2 and pt3 in that order, but doing them all in one sitting or doing them one at a time is more a preference thing. It might be a quite long video if you want to do them all in one, and feel you have time to comment. Thank you and Happy Easter!
Aye, as mentioned by some already, Ren is 34 today. You can do Money Game in separate reactions but definitely do the Tale of Jenny and Screech in one sitting. There is a FULL version on his channel that has them all in chronological order in one video.
Ren is very talented and displays a unique ability to capture the deepest emotions and feelings within the human soul. This beautiful tribute to his friend Callum is heart felt and in the style of George Winston which helps instill the desired reaction and emotion.
Thank you for reacting to this beautiful piece. I consider Ren to be a genius but I think he worked too hard for too long to be considered a prodigy. Years spent in his bedroom isolated by his pain and other acute symptoms. Please, please react to the full 13 minute official music video for the “Tales” trilogy. Separately they do not have nearly the impact and even tho they were released years apart, the story is only complete when the parts are heard together.
Ren is 34 today!! So cool you posted this on his big day!!! Ren is amazingly talented!!! When you listen to The Tales you really need to listen to the long 13 plus minute one.
ADHD hyperfocus + years where music was all he was able to do (either because he was in riral Wales or yoo sick to leave his home) mean that he learnt ways to achieve the sounds he wanted, be they on the guitar, piano, or vocals. Not always conventionally, or with technical proficiency, but with such immersive dedication that he accrued skills on multiple instruments and across genres. Ren is basically what you get when you lock a talented musician in a tower. I don't know if he's a prodigy but he's definitely a Disney princess. 😂
I’m no expert so these are just my opinions- the tales you can do in one setting and it makes sense to do it like that (hence why he joined them up for the 13min version) The money games I personally say do separately because they all have a lot to unpack and 100% when you get to MG3 … be ready I’m loving your reactions man I hope you are well Take care Daz
Rather than a prodigy, Ren says his adhd has made him hyperfocus all his life on music. He was always on tbe guitar or on the piano. He can lock himself in a studio mixing for 12 hours straight forgeting to eat.
It’s dedication to his craft. Ren practices hard and is meticulous to giving us his very best every time. His respect for music is undeniable. He makes it look so effortless that we forget how hard he has worked to achieve that
Love your videos and glad to hear there's a playlist now. Tales of Jenny & Screech and Violet are best watched straight through and in order (hence everybody telling you to watch the thirteen minute one). The Money Games, less so. I almost think its better to break them up, this way each one sinks in, so to speak. Part 3 is a brain-melter. And that's not a term I use lightly.
Full version of Jenny and Screech (13mins) should be watched all at once and Money Game (lyric video for #2, it's the full song) can be watched 1 at a time in order, or all in one go. Whichever suits your uploading schedule and works for your channel 😊
Yes, he's self-taught and plays about a dozen instruments, with varying degrees of ability. He started selling CDs of beats he produced on his PC at 12. Ironically, I think a part of Ren's musical mastery is a result of him being so sick for so long. Brimming with ambition, he was locked in his bedroom for years, which gave him a lot of time to read, philosophize, write, compose, and practice. Of course, it's not easy to do that when you're suffering. In my experience, however, being close to death as a young adult can inspire some to achieve what they can while they still have time. It also pushes you for meaning and understanding about yourself, spirituality, and the world’s problems. Ren's gift is not only his ability to convey musically, but he has something to say that's worth conveying. I love that. Mind you, I also love Ren having fun, too. The "Animal Flow" video is actually one of my favorites because it seems to simply be a fun song with a crazy, intense video, but is actually profound if you've studied Orwellian writings.
Romain commented ìn passing that one night hanging at the beach Ren picked up Romain's ukalale pluck a couple random notes, then just took over the instument and played several songs. It was Ren's first time picking it up. No lessons, no questions, just played like he had mastered it.
I like to suggest that you (and your viewers AFTER you finish this video please) go watch Disco Doc's reaction to this song. His videos usually provide deep amounts of history, context and if it is a cover, some of the original song/music if it isn't copyrighted. Oh and his...uhhh, unique presentation...😂. He is criminally under-viewed. In this case he has a lot of history, interviess and pictures of what happened with Callem Mackay. Highly recommended to truly add an emotional component to this song via understanding of the events.
Agreed!! Everyone should watch Disco Doc’s reaction/history behind the inspiration for Mackay! I can literally hear and see the turbulence of the sea that claimed Callum and Lewis. But yet I can also hear the spirit and memory of their friendship in the motif he created for Callum. I love that he left this instrumental and encouraged us to use this song as a way to remember and pay tribute to loved ones that we have lost. Ren is a special soul, beautiful inside and out.
The tale f Jenny and Screech is a trilogy comprising of Jenny's tale, Screeches tale and Violet's tale. Some people watch Viloets tale which yu can find on it's own and then it doesnt make sense to them
Really good reaction. This is his original composition and only instrumental music video he has. He plays bass very well. He's played drums and another instrument that I don't remember before. Ren has said "put an instrument in front of me and I'll give it a go". The definition of prodigy is having extraordinary talent or ability. However I see Ren more as a visionary in music. It's not just his skills with instruments or vocal ability. It's his eye for locations, his directing ability, his production, who he chooses to collaborate with and how he puts videos together . It doesn't hurt to read the description or pinned comment on his videos. Very often he will say something important in the context of the video. Sometimes he posts the lyrics in either one of those places.
This is an exquisite, original emotional and powerful piece of music for his buddy Callum 🙏 I believe Ren is gifted but he also has a keen sense of how to make music that touches all of us! Ren is such a force in the industry the way he dabbles in every genre! Love it❤love your reactions too❤
Ren puts out what ever he puts out. We are just here for the ride 😂 No really he has like a 1000 songs saved on a hard drive from when he was really sick. So who knows what he will pick. I think there is an Illest of our time album coming out next with like 16 songs. Yes this an orginal for his friend who died, he didn't have any words for it, he also has one for another friend Joe who also passed that song is called "for joe"
Thank you, Peach, for this reaction. It's been a journey with Ren for all of us; glad you are on it too. For the Tales there is a version with all 3 so watch that one 'Tale of Jenny and Screech (Full)'. For Money Game, react to each in sucession, 1 2 and 3. The 2nd part has the original lyric video and an acoustic version. Money Game 3 is on par with the Tales and Hi Ren in shear beauty and effect on your state of mind.
First I have to say I love your reactions. Also the little melody you said you enjoyed is also part of another song he did called For Joe. It is another tribute for his friend Joe Hughes.
The Tales are best watched in one go. The order is important hence he uploaded a dedicated 13 minute video that features all parts. That's the version everyone's referring to. The Money Game trilogy are separate videos you might post as separate reactions due to their individual length. They are best watch in order of course to catch the connections. Part 2 comes in two flavours and the *lyric video with the TV screen* is the recommended and also complete version. The a cappella version on Brighton beach lacks half the lyrics. The last serie "Love Music" parts 1 to 4 have no particular connection other than their title.
With the Tales, the 13min full version has all 3 parts in the right order, so it's often the easiest way for reactors. 😊 With Money Game, there are only cinematic videos for pt1 and pt3, part 2 is a lyric video. (There is a live version of pt2 but it's only really one verse. It's nice, but only as an extra, because you miss out on half the song.) Money Game can more easily be done in 3 separate videos.
As others have noted, it's always worth it to check for what Ren might have had to say about any of his videos - sometimes it will be in the description, sometimes it will be a pinned comment, and sometimes he won't have anything to say about it! Regarding your question about Ren being a prodigy: I heard Ren say once in an interview that music makes "shapes" in his mind, so he creates the shapes first, and then figures out the best way to get an instrument to create the same shapes. That blew my mind. Prodigy for sure, I think music keeps Ren alive.
Tales 13 minute version as a video. Money game can be split into a video for each, but make sure to do the official lyric video for part 2 because the live version only has the last half of the song.
Absolute original. He said he was playing around one night and came up with this. Could never find words for it so decided to keep it instrumental. And I would suggest Jenny & Screech tales the trilogy. Also has Violets tale.. today is his birthday 34. And yes I hear he has always had a gift of stories and music. But he did not get his first guitar until age 10 I think being isolated and sick for so long has helped with his talent.. Ren is the only way I found a reactor , Never heard of it before Now I watch others react to ren and all in the same way. And all over the world !! So maybe he can bring a little unity to all this division we all feel ....Love Ren And I am old dude and none of this has been me or a part of my life until I heard Ren. Then I researched him and read quite a bit on him and what can I say, He got me !!
I do believe Ren is musically gifted in many ways. But I think it is his passion and ADHD fueled hyper focus that pushed him to perfect his craft through hours and hours of meticulous practice. His interview with Justin Hawkins is fantastic! It’s the first of many incredible interviews he gave last year. You can understand why he was signed by Sony quite young. He was discovered while busking. Sadly, that dream was stripped away because of his illness. But when he was trapped at home, any spare moment when he felt well enough, he poured into his music. I think it is as vital to him as the air he breathes. He also went through phases of his illness where he was too sick to write, play, or perform. So now that his health is improving, it seems like he’s tapped into an insanely deep well of creativity that he cant help but dive into and release. Today is his 34th birthday, which is significant since he truly didn’t expect to see 30. He is cherishing each moment and doesn’t take anything for granted. So I think that is something that sets him apart from other artists. Not only talent but an insatiable need to create and share his gift.
Another lovely reaction. I really enjoy your unconventional journey. Actually, Penitence is a horribly underrated video, if you want to hear some older Ren. And Heretic will always be one of my favourites. You'll figure out why when you get to it, I am sure. Very few Ren songs can be put into the same category. That is part of the beauty.
As for your question, I do believe in prodigies. If Ren is one or not, yeah, he might be. Music seems to come natural to him, he has an extremely good sense of rhythm and dynamics. However, I know he's been practicing A TON to get where he is. We should not forget that. I think his hyperfocus from ADHD hugely helps with this. When neurodivergent (like myself, I'm autistic) and you have a special interest, your brain picks up on, focuses intensely on and remembers knowledge related to that interest and it goes INSANELY fast. You just have to follow along 😁
Jenny and Screech Trilogy all together. Also try to do Money Game Pts 1, and 3 all together or in quick succession. They are completely different as with all Ren output you will find it original.
The Tales are a trilogy that need to be played in order, the 13 min full version is all three in the correct order and should definitely be experienced that way. The money Game trilogy doesn’t necessarily have to be played in order, but there are some musical and conceptual themes that run through them. You won’t recognize them if you watch part 3 first, but it won’t take away from the experience. Part 2 should be the lyrical version, not the live. The live isn’t the whole song.
I have seen him play the bass and I mean really let it rip check out 'the big push' covering well, pretty much every great rock song ever, the drums, I hear that he can play the violin (he professes badly), the clarinet, some sort of harmonica....I suspect more too. Do the trilogy of jenny and screech, don't break it up.
No one was expecting a piano instrumental 😂 his mind works in unknown ways! Or maybe he's just good at putting out what HE wants to do, and not what he thinks the people wants. This song has emotions in every single note and I'm so impressed with the composition. Just like his ex-bandmate Romain Axisa (guitarist/singer) that makes his guitar sing his emotions, Ren can make a piano express emotions. I love following your Ren reactions! You are so insightful and genuine. 😍
As everyone else has stated, the 13 minute full version of 'The Tales of Jenny and Screech' is the only way to watch them. As for the Money Game series, part one is the official music video (shot as a one-shot live performance), part two should be the official lyric video (the live version is only the second half of the song), and part 3 once again is a live music video (with either one or two small cuts, depending on who you're asking). I'd advise separate reactions for these as part 3 runs a little over 9 minutes. 😊
He does look young, but was 33 the last I checked. I think that is a culmination of things. His ability to focus on music whenever he was at his most sick I think is a part of how he is able to play such a variation of instruments and at the levels he plays them at. He puts himself out there with his history of busking etc and to put yourself on display for anyone walking by to see is extremely vulnerable but you get a ton of experience with people and performing that develops over time-which is what so many people now get to see when they see his music. As far as prodigy's go-I would say its more an affinity for particular skill sets that get more refined at we grow. If we aren't ever exposed to music I don't think we could be handed a guitar at 20 years old and play it correctly-definitely something to think about though when you get to hear someone like Ren play
Too bad you missed the last part of the video where Ren has a message for Callum...but unfortunately you're not the only one. I enjoy watching you grow to love and respect Ren more and more. Respect your honest opinion... Looking forward to your next Ren reaction...🤗
Watch the butterfly 2.23, and Ren follow it to haven. location of Mackay Drumheller is a town on the Red Deer River in the badlands of east-central Alberta, Canada. It is located 110 kilometres (68 mi) northeast of Calgary and 97 kilometres (60 mi) south of Stettle
for the tales of Jenny and Screech, yes do the 13 minute one it has all 3 videos in the right order. Be aware, they are VERY heavy. Be sure to check out Ren's fun stuff too!
He plays bass too in his own style, like a detuned guitar. Watch the full Jenny and Screech, not the separate ones. They were dropped as a series but today you want the whole thing at once. Money game isn’t a series so you can watch them in any order separately. It’s a bit like three versions of the same theme.
hey there! been loving your reactions! so, when you do the Tales of Jenny and Screech, do the 13 minutes long video. as for the Money Game trilogy, you can do them in separate occasions, but be sure to listen to them in order: Part 1 first, then Part 2 and lastly Part 3. also, when you do Part 2, be sure to choose the lyric video.
Yes, you want the 13:32 version of "Tales of Jenny and Screech" - it includes all 3 arcs of the story in one video. As for Money Game - start at 1 and go through 3 *however* there are 2 versions of MG2. I would strongly recommend recording the "official lyric video" version and watching the "4k official video" on your own time. The 4k is a live 1 take at the beach and is really good but it doesn't have the hard impact of the studio version/visual impact of the live lyric. That one slaps.
This is an original indeed. See his pinned comment for the background story - and maybe watch DiscoDoc’s video for more context. It is heartbreaking 😢 I’m very rarely into purely instrumental music, but this somehow felt like Ren was playing words. A stunning and perfect tribute to his friend 🖤🐰🕳️
King Dotta, who did a rap battle with Ren last year, said that Ren was born with a guitar in his hand. I think that qualifies him as a prodigy. Excellent reaction, by the way! Subbed.
Hi, fellow teacher here. My advice, Jenny and Screech first. All three in one sitting. So the 13 minute video. Money Game can be separated. Doing 1&2 together then 3 on it’s own works. That way you don’t lose the momentum of the through line but you keep your capacity to engage with them. I’ve enjoyed watching your shift towards Ren. I almost stopped watching early on. I’m glad I stuck around to see another heart recognise the wonder he is. 💜🇵🇸🌻
You need to play videos to the end. This was a piece written in memory of his friend Callum mackay. The dedication came at the end, which you cut off...
He is a channelor of spirits, or! he is "connected", we can all be like that and is it already, Ren is just shinning f..... bright. and most feel that instant transfere of a feeling of presents, to be "in the play" or in short : ) he makes us feel. thats my take on Ren. Namaste
He just turned 34. This is his composition. He worked in production and was a signed artist when he got sick and lost that contract. Not sure the timeline of learning different instruments, but, I think Ren is the kind of artist that if he wants to learn, he will find a way. One more thing, his Mother is a trained vocalist, so he grew up with music in his family.
Money Game Part 3 ... Then I will find you the link the The Wolf Johnson documentary how Ren's process work. It is long, but so good. Also Wolf's poetry and his life story is heartbreaking but so hopeful.
This is a tribute piece written by Ren for his friend Callum Mackay who passed shortly after his friend Joe. The tales of Jenny and Screech always do the 13 min version as the story will make more sense in one sitting. Money game 1,2 and 3 make sure you do the lyric video for part 2 as that has more impact than the live version.
I will always suggest the Tales of Jenny and Screech FULL VERSION... it's over 13 min long and in the CORRECT order. It's a masterpiece and should ALWAYS be watched in that format to get the full impact. It is one long story. You can liken it to a play with three acts. You wouldn't watch the last act first or you'd not 'get' the story, ya know? Thanks. I'm looking forward to it.
This composition was a tribute to a friend who passed aged 22.
MacKay is an original piano composition by Ren.
Ren is 34 as of today. 29 March is his birthday. This is an original composition. From what he has said, Ren has been playing guitar since he was 10, started producing beats at 12 and started piano at about 14.
Today is his 34th birthday. 😊
He's been playing since he was a preteen.

'Money Game' trilogy is also amazing. Some reactors do all three together and others split them up. Part 3 is the most recent and most ambitious and won awards. I'm sure other RENegades will give you more info. My brain is mush and I don't want to provide inaccurate info.
Take care!
First instrumental he's officially put out, that I'm aware of anyway. But the pinned comment on Ren's video, he explains why this is.
Yes. I always check for his pinned comment/lyrics. I wish more folks followed your example because Ren takes the time to offer us this bit extra.
As a fan, I am a little biased. But the man is a genius/ prodigy. Frankly, I’m jealous of you… there is so much more to see and I am here for it.
Has to be together
Money games can split them.

@@Dad-JanieWorld i was referring to Jacob Collier.
Ohhh no there was more!!! Can’t believe I missed that☹️. I’ve got to go back and check it out! Thank you for letting me know!
@@peachpreview No problem. There are multiple Ren songs where either funny or important stuff happens in the last few seconds after the music stops.
@@yonahgrossman7319 Definitely agree that folks should play through to the very end! It's like leaving a Marvel movie during the credits. 😂
Wish I could up thumb this twice because yes, yes yes
He has worked hard, since age 10 I think.
Fyi look up the lyrics to translate the welsh before you watch the video as it isn't translated on the lyric video
Someone may have posted it in comments on that video page though ... now that I think of it .
Always here for Ren He has more than a thousand unreleased songs.
I’m no expert so these are just my opinions- the tales you can do in one setting and it makes sense to do it like that (hence why he joined them up for the 13min version)
The money games I personally say do separately because they all have a lot to unpack and 100% when you get to MG3 … be ready
I’m loving your reactions man
I hope you are well
Take care
Daz
The dedication and photo of his friend and him together is at the end. Watch the end. That explains.
Those two are amazing. Yes 13 mins of the Jenny skreetch.
👍
I so agree with this comment about Disco Doc.👍💕🦇
The tale f Jenny and Screech is a trilogy comprising of Jenny's tale, Screeches tale and Violet's tale. Some people watch Viloets tale which yu can find on it's own and then it doesnt make sense to them
The Goat....thanks brother appreciate you👍
Really good reaction.
He plays guitar, piano, bass, drums, a bit of cello I believe, and the melodica. 🤣
You are not the 1st to think is this a classical piece, testament to Ren,s uniqueness plays several other instruments besides guitar & piano.
This is an exquisite, original emotional and powerful piece of music for his buddy Callum 🙏 I believe Ren is gifted but he also has a keen sense of how to make music that touches all of us! Ren is such a force in the industry the way he dabbles in every genre! Love it❤love your reactions too❤
For more back story watch disco doc’s reaction to this.
Also check out for joe. It’s an original for a tribute.
A song by Ashley macisic piece wingstock brought me to tears. He was like an alternative violinist
The different route is amazing. I see you coming to the respect on a different path. Awsome!
First I have to say I love your reactions. Also the little melody you said you enjoyed is also part of another song he did called For Joe. It is another tribute for his friend Joe Hughes.
Great reaction!❤️👍
Jenny Skreech and Violet along with all the money games need to be one reaction!
You’ll understand when you’re done with them!
With Money Game, there are only cinematic videos for pt1 and pt3, part 2 is a lyric video. (There is a live version of pt2 but it's only really one verse. It's nice, but only as an extra, because you miss out on half the song.) Money Game can more easily be done in 3 separate videos.
Agreed … Tales the full uncut version next
Then money game series individually in 3 reactions - MG1 / MG2 lyric video / MG3
I think he said he is able to play 7 instruments and probably all at this level of awesomeness
But he did not get his first guitar until age 10
I think being isolated and sick for so long has helped with his talent..
Enjoyed your reaction! ❤️🔥✌🏻🫶🏻
Absolutely beautiful ❤
I believe he turns 34 today.
Jenny and Screech Trilogy all together. Also try to do Money Game Pts 1, and 3 all together or in quick succession. They are completely different as with all Ren output you will find it original.
❤
He was the original drummer in his band the big push
I recommend Children of the Moon. It’s older but worth the detour!
Yes the 13 minute Jenny and screech contains all 3 chapters in one video in the proper order. Do that before money game.❤
Tales have to be together,
Money game can be separate :)
Do the trilogy of jenny and screech, don't break it up.
feel parts of depeche mode "precious" on the instrument
Btw I can't wait to see your genuine reaction to October ends ' new song 🤘
Love your reaction, new subscriber 🏴
No one was expecting a piano instrumental 😂 his mind works in unknown ways! Or maybe he's just good at putting out what HE wants to do, and not what he thinks the people wants. This song has emotions in every single note and I'm so impressed with the composition. Just like his ex-bandmate Romain Axisa (guitarist/singer) that makes his guitar sing his emotions, Ren can make a piano express emotions.
I love following your Ren reactions! You are so insightful and genuine. 😍
❤❤❤
Ren is like a box of chocolates 😉
Wonderful reaction! It’s amazing how some can tell a story with just one instrument.
Watch the butterfly 2.23, and Ren follow it to haven.
location of Mackay
Drumheller is a town on the Red Deer River in the badlands of east-central Alberta, Canada.
Jenny and s reach please ehe 13 min one is the full 3 stories it is a must to want him them all at once
The Tale Of Jenny and Screech is 3 parts , also includes Violets tale must watch together in 13 minutes
Helpful hint, always let Ren videos play to the end
This is an original indeed. See his pinned comment for the background story - and maybe watch DiscoDoc’s video for more context. It is heartbreaking 😢
I’m very rarely into purely instrumental music, but this somehow felt like Ren was playing words. A stunning and perfect tribute to his friend 🖤🐰🕳️
Jenny and screech has to be done in order and one sitting money game you can watch in any order you like 😊 thanks for your reaction ❤❤
👌
I think the theme sounds sort of familiar because it reminds me of a takeoff of his Freckled Angel ode to Joe.
Tales please. Jenny and Screech (full version)
It shows a picture at the end of him and his friend that died. Great reaction though.
